My older kid didn’t even notice any difference in taste. I could tell, but it didn’t bother me. The color is definitely more noticeable and not quite as appealing as regular pasta, but it’s really simple to make and doesn’t require any special effort. I do think it keeps my kids feeling full longer. I’ve only served it hot so far, which seems to help them not notice much of a difference. It didn’t come out super creamy, but I don’t usually make regular mac and cheese very creamy either, so it worked out just fine. Both flavors were lovely, however I enjoyed the White Cheddar more. Since it’s not too creamy, cleaning up after is pretty quick which I love.

It took a while to cook and I had to add more ingredients, which I usually go for easier things to make like simply steaming broccoli. The type of pasta was good and did not taste too healthy like others I have tasted. I was able to eat it as left overs as well and it still tasted good. I think I added too much milk because it was a watery consistency at first, but the pasta soaked up all the cheese sauce. I would have enjoyed a more prominent cheese taste, but it was over all yummy.
