It was filling and hit the spot when I was in need for some child like nostalgia. And the best part is, just one box of Power Mac lasts more than one meal. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kraft PowerMac Mac and Cheese tastes great but I wasn't a fan of the texture of the noodles. The taste itself is pretty much the same as the regular Mac and Cheese but the texture of the noodles is a bit more firmer than what I'm used to. I like that it contains 17g of protein and 6g of fiber in each box which is nice if you're trying to add extra protein in your diet. It's very easy to prepare and makes the perfect side dish for those who don't mind more firmer noodles. I likely won't be buying this variety as I am not a fan of the texture.

The flavor is not comparable to the non-protein packed version, so if I'm reaching for one with protein, I'd go for the White Cheddar. It was definitely good and was a good side dish, nonetheless
