For comparison sake, I’m going to compare this high protein/fiber version to the regular version of the Kraft Mac and cheese. Overall, the taste is not much different between the two. Not enough to know the difference. There is no strange aftertaste texture or residue to the sauce or noodles. The noodles of the protein version do take about double the time to cook and do remain a bit firmer than the original version of noodles however, I personally like a firmer texture to noodles when I make them so I actually like this about the protein version. The plated display of the mac and cheese on the plate after made appear almost identical to the original version. My 9 and 12 year old never knew the difference which is great for me as this is a wonderful way for me to get extra protein and fiber into their diets!

There is no “protein” flavor, which is much appreciated. Even my 2 year old loved it, and he is very picky. We will definitely repurchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really impressed with this protein Mac n cheese!!! I am always looking for ways to add extra protein to my kids meals and this makes it easy. My daughter is 3 and struggles to try new foods so I always worry about her protein intake, well naturally she loves mac and cheese so this makes it easy to ensure she gets a well rounded dinner on nights where she just isn’t willing to try the rest of the dinner. My husband and I ate it as well and find that it tastes nearly identical to the original Kraft Mac n cheese. We found it incredibly satisfying and found that we were full with eating far less than what we usually would with the regular Mac b cheese. I love that brands are prioritizing protein and adding it in to foods that typically don’t have much. This was so easy to make, mixed well, and tasted great! I will definitely be purchasing this in the future!

This protein packed Mac and cheese is not only delicious, convenient and tasty, but it’s a great option to get that extra dose of protein! It tastes just as delicious as the original Mac and cheese! Who wouldn’t love a great value, easy to make protein side dish packed with flavor?!

It tastes fine, obviously not like normal Kraft Mac and cheese, but it's weird to have those expectations when it comes to a protein pasta. But it's not gross or chalky or anything, so it's pretty good. But if you're wanting a REALLY good protein mac, you're better off getting Banza. It has a little less protein than this, but it's less calories for better flavor, and likely better ingredients.
