It was as creamy, bitey, and yummy as the original. It looked like the original in cooking. While my kids loved it, I prefer chickpea base over pea protein. However, it did hold a torch to the cheddar king which I thought was the best part.

Also being someone who works out and eats relatively healthy I have tried multiple protein pasta, but I have to say this one is the best! It does not have that plant taste that some of the competitors have, and the cheese powder is still as delicious as normal. It’s a great opportunity to get more protein in with keeping the greatness of craft mac & cheese! Top choice in Mac & cheese!

They weren’t able to tell that it wasn’t the original Kraft. The flavor and texture are almost exactly the same. We will definitely be keeping a box in the cabinet for busy nights!

It still has that creamy, cheesy flavor everyone expects, but feels a bit more filling and satisfying. It’s quick and easy to make, which makes it perfect for busy days or a simple meal. The texture comes out, smooth, and the flavor is very similar to the original, just slightly richer. The product has all the flavor and taste of traditional Kraft mac and cheese with an added health benefit. Kraft PowerMac is a great way to get a bit of extra protein without sacrificing taste and crave-ability!

Despite following the directions given by the company, the PowerMac is more soup-like and absolutely bland tasting. There is no taste, no scent, the aroma is non-existent. Overall, it was just horrid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here is my overall impression. For comparison sake, I’m going to compare this high protein/fiber version to the regular version of the Kraft Mac and cheese. Overall, the taste is not much different between the two. Not enough to know the difference. There is no strange aftertaste texture or residue to the sauce or noodles. The noodles of the protein version do take about double the time to cook and do remain a bit firmer than the original version of noodles however, I personally like a firmer texture to noodles when I make them so I actually like this about the protein version. The plated display of the mac and cheese on the plate after made appear almost identical to the original version. My 9 and 12 year old never knew the difference which is great for me as this is a wonderful way for me to get extra protein and fiber into their diets!
