it clearly states that this is a basic 10 inch cake that can be used to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or any celebration you would like. meaning it's a blank canvas to decorate as you choose to.... it doesn't come as pictured. reading a description and actually comprehending it, is fundamental... but then again common sense has been declining lately. it's a good cake, you decide on the decorations, it does not come with the candles, you buy them separately.

My entire family enjoyed this cake. You can't beat the price and quality of this cake.

It's delicious!!! We got the chocolate with white icing. So good! 😊

This cake came exactly as pictured and was bigger than I expected. Very cute. The flavor of the cake was underwhelming. The kids enjoyed it, but adults thought it was just ok.

Price: Excellent! Flavor/taste: Very good! Experience: Not good at all! The cake did not look like the picture when we picked it up. It was supposed to have candles that spelled out happy birthday on the top. Those were missing and happy birthday was written in with icing. You would think someone would call me an tell me that they could not provide what we purchased. That did not happen. I called the bakery once my husband brought the cake home and they said come by and we’ll give you the candles. Drive all the way back to Sam’s and went aside to the bakery waited approximately 10 minutes. Spoke to Jess who said it was her first day there. She had to contact the supervisor for that area because I was told we could pick up the candles. After several minutes supervise finally told her that there was no candles. We were late for the party since we had to stop there for candles. Again, I wish they just called and told us there was gonna be some changes and give us the option to either move forward with the cake or choose another design.

I did now wind up with a cake after 2 trips into the store. I was told that they were out of white cakes on Friday but she assured me that they would have more out the next morning, so I make another trip into the store only to be told that they have none. After looking at the reviews and bad experience in store probably saved me from an awful cake! I will never again use Sam's bakery! They certainly don't care about their customers.

This was a chocolate cake and not vanilla. I threw the cake away as I did not want chocolate. it also had whipped icing which I hate! Customer service agent was able to give me a gift card for the amount since I was unable to get back to the club to return this. It's not my normal club, I just happened to be in that area today. I'll make sure to order custom thru the app so I can (HOPEFULLY) get the correct flavor and select buttercream frosting instead of that nasty whipped icing. YUCK!
