Member's Mark Sweet Celebration 10" Round Double Layer Cake

This cake came exactly as pictured and was bigger than I expected. Very cute. The flavor of the cake was underwhelming. The kids enjoyed it, but adults thought it was just ok.

Price: Excellent! Flavor/taste: Very good! Experience: Not good at all! The cake did not look like the picture when we picked it up. It was supposed to have candles that spelled out happy birthday on the top. Those were missing and happy birthday was written in with icing. You would think someone would call me an tell me that they could not provide what we purchased. That did not happen. I called the bakery once my husband brought the cake home and they said come by and we’ll give you the candles. Drive all the way back to Sam’s and went aside to the bakery waited approximately 10 minutes. Spoke to Jess who said it was her first day there. She had to contact the supervisor for that area because I was told we could pick up the candles. After several minutes supervise finally told her that there was no candles. We were late for the party since we had to stop there for candles. Again, I wish they just called and told us there was gonna be some changes and give us the option to either move forward with the cake or choose another design.
