It's really comfy the only thing I wish I knew before buying was that it requires a flat surface to lay on. Just want to also know if it is ok with sunlight everyday since my bedroom has a window and heat hits the same spots everyday.. will that cause it to deteriorate faster?

I have had several mattresses over the past years some that cost over $4000.00 and others in the $1500.00 range they have been memory foam, pillow top, hybrid, and a pillow top latex mattress. So far the purple mattress out performs all of them. With all the other mattresses I woke up with my back hurting arms numb and it was hard to fall back to sleep. The purple mattresses is a different from any of the just by sitting on the mattresses you would think it's to soft, but when you are lying down it gives you perfect support. I have had the Mattress know for about a month so my only other concern would be that it holds up long term. The main reason I purchased this Mattress over the other brand that I could select the comfort not going to say any names was the 100 night trial and the price and I'm glad I did,

My husband and I ordered a king sized purple mattress and are very happy so far. I'm a light sleeper and, apart from when he takes the covers, I don't notice him moving at night. I also have occasional hip and back pain and that hasn't been an issue since switching over to the purple mattress. We were on a sleep number and it just did not work for us (for me mainly, since I'm the one with trouble sleeping).

I spent 5 years in the Marine Corps where my lower back got destroyed. Since I have been out ive been very pro-active on trying to fix the problem with my back. I have had what I thought were decent mattresses in the past until my first night on my purple mattress. I woke up with less aches and pains. After the first month I noticed that some of the bad parts of my back were not acting up like they used too. Now I am able to do my work out routine again!!

Initially I was super excited about my purple mattress. But a year later, not so much. So I'll start with the smell. It still has that fresh out of the purple body bag smell. That weird polymer chemical smell. 2. I'm a hot sleeper. One of the big selling points on this mattress was that it helps keep you cool as you sleep. It does not. If anything it seems like the grid work your sleeping on holds the heat turns it to condensation and you wake up covered in sweat. 3. Comfort. Let's put it this way I can't stand to be in bed more than 6 hours. the pain at that point is so unbearable that my only option is to go to work where it's easier on my back. So after all that. I can't say I'll be a repeat customer. And I cant recommend in good conscience recommend these beds to anyone else.

It sleeps really cool, or neutral is a better description. I'm always cold and my partner is always hot and we were both comfortable on this mattress. I've had some back issues and they were better but still an issue so we returned the mattress. I'm kicking myself, because I think if I would have given myself more time, it would have been the perfect mattress. As it stands we ended up with another brand and I'm happy with it, but as soon as I can reasonably switch to a Purple, I will.

I expected the purple bed to be more comfortable than it was, and to immediately solve all of my back pain with my previous mattress; after about a week or two, it became super comfortable to sleep on. I'm guessing it was because I wasn't used to how the bed supported my spine (in a healthy position) and had to go through an adjustment period.

It's been about 6 weeks since the Purple mattress arrived and my husband and I love it. He has back issues, so we have had a firm mattress in the past and suffered with jammed shoulders from sleeping on our sides. We tried a foam mattress about 10 years ago and couldn't stand it because it was so soft. He is heavier than me and no matter what I did I always felt like I was lying in the event horizon of a black hole trying not to get sucked in to wherever he was lying. We are really impressed with the lack of motion transfer and the feeling of firmness while at the same time accommodating pressure points like the shoulder area. I don't roll towards him and his arm doesn't fall asleep if it's under my neck while we are spooning. The one thing that is a bit awkward is how the mattress collapses when you sit on the edge. It would be nice if the edges were a bit firmer. However, this is not that big of a deal compared to the benefits of a good night's rest and waking up with no aches and pains.

Had to wait a little longer than I wanted to get everything, but the wait was worth it. I got a King Size with Purple Base as well. Base is solid, attaching a head board was fairly straightforward, now if they would sell a kit to attach a foot board it would be great! (Hint Hint) The Mattress is amazing! It took my body about 3 days to adjust, (I was coming from a waterbed) but since then I sleep like a dream. The experience is pretty much just as they describe it. Soft upper layer, with firm base. Pressure points are no problem. About the base, very solid, and high enough for underbed storage. I can put 8 good sized storage containers underneath, for am amazing amount of hidden storage.. The best way to tell I like it? I would buy it again in a heartbeat. The bed is great!!! After sleeping on it for about 2 months now, I can almost believe that some of the negative reviews either: 1. Didn't buy one, or 2. Are being paid to post bad reviews. I have nothing negative to say about it. (Other than I hate getting out of it in the morning!) Lol

I decided to try this mattress because memory foam was no longer comfortable for me. This mattress is the perfect blend of soft and supportive, I also have the pillow. It's great for hot sleepers, it's so cool and just as comfortable on my side and on my stomach. Love this mattress
