My husband and I moved to a new country. We needed a new mattress before we went. We were recommended by my sister to get the amazing Purple mattress. However, when it arrived we were a bit sad by the uncomfortable feeling we got when we slept. If we sleep along the edge we feel we will roll off, so we sleep more towards the middle. It makes the bed feel more like a queen than a king. Also, it is a lot smaller (not as thick) than our bed frame, so the head board looks a little funny with it.

I was skeptical, that the mattress was everything, the company said it was. I haven't slept, all night long for years. I have fibromyalgia, and was constantly, tossing and turning to get comfortable. After 4 nights, I slept my first entire night in a very long time. I recently traveled and stayed in a hotel. I was wishing I had my mattress with me. This mattress truly is, everything the company said it is. I am very happy. The only problem I had was with the delivery. It was not delivered on day it was expected. The delivery service, finally delivered it 5 days later. Then left it sitting out on the curb, in the rain. I blame that on the delivery service. Not the Purple company.

I used to have so much trouble falling asleep and staying asleep; however, after purchasing The Purple Mattress, I sleep sound, wake refreshed, and feel better all day long! The mattress is on the firm side, but is seriously way more comfortable than I was expecting.

Still on the fence about keeping this mattress. It is just not what I expected. I watched tons of YouTube videos and read all the rave reviews. The one thing nobody mentions is how it feels to lay on it. By no means is it uncomfortable, but the way it's designed to contour to your body for maximum support, it misses giving you that soft bed feeling. I was expecting to feel like I was laying on a high end resort bed, a bed I don't ever want to get out of. The purple mattress doesn't make me feel that way. I am sleeping cooler on the purple mattress. The bed is not cold, it just does a great job at dispersing the heat. The packaging the bed comes in is fantastic, but I do have gripe. Why isn't the mattress flipped, then rolled up, at the factory. The way it's rolled up, you have to flip it over once it's unrolled, which is no easy task since the bed is flexible and heavy. I had pretty high expectations for this mattress. I'm just not sure it meets those.

My husband and I could not handle the mattress we had for the last five years that I had for a few years before! We were waking up with continuous lower and upper back pain and that is not helpful during our work day as teachers. Buying our Purple mattress was the best use of our money! I have never fallen asleep as fast as I do on our purple mattress. My husband was surprised that he couldn't feel me get out of bed the other night and now we wake up with little to no back pain. We are happy with our purchase and hope our mattress can last us for a good amount of years.

My husband wanted this mattress since he saw the egg test online. I was skeptical because we had never even touched one or knew anyone who had one we could touch. However, all the reviews were good and my husband was moving to the couch every night in the middle of the night because he would wake up and not be able to get comfortable. I've been sleeping on the regular purple mattress for about a month now. The first 4 days my back pain was worse than with my old mattress. But as the packaging says, your body is adjusting itself to a correct sleeping posture. After the pain went away, sleeping came easily. Unless you're actively pressing your elbows, fingers or heels into the mattress you don't feel the grid. The mattress cover seems to be removable for (I assume) laundering any serious spills. Lying on the mattress you immediately feel ventilated and not hot like when on a thick slab of cushioning. I sweat heavily (from just walking around) and although the mattress didn't entirely take away me feeling hot, I have NOT woken up drenched in sweat in 90 degree weather with no AC! What I love most about this mattress is how it feels. I like to explain that a regular mattress feels like the springs push you up and away from where gravity is naturally taking you. The purple mattress feels as if it is holding you up just as you would carry something in two hands. It sort of suspends you with no pressure. I'm 5'3", 145~ lbs and don't feel that I'm sinking into the mattress. My shoulder doesn't feel resistance when I lie on my side as I would with a spring mattress and my hips/lower back feel like they're actually decompressing when I lie on my back. This mattress is great! It also has about 3 inches of foam around the grid that'll protect you from rolling off the bed. The sheets that came with the mattress are super soft but feel weird to me. They felt like I wasn't being covered even when I folded it in half. Also there are no four corners to the sheet? Just the top and a rounded hem at its "edges". I don't like the sheet because I like feeling covered when I sleep. I'm also concerned at how equally thin the fitted is as I don't want to dirty my $700+ mattress and am unsure if the mattress protector would prevent airflow. Overall, Purple is a great investment. I was only able to afford it because of the stimulus check and for that reason alone I give it 4.5/5 stars.

I love purple, the company policies and level of expectations for their brand is very nice. The first night a slept on my mattress is kind of needed to thaw out from being in the cold. I get amazing sleep on it I just don't know how much more I like it over a regular mattress yet. I'll come back again in 6 months see if I can give it 5 stars!

I have owned the purple mattress from almost a year now. I lived it at frist but after a couple months started to notice a very big dip where I was sleeping. I figured this would happen over time but it happened so fast I have turn the mattress every couple months to try and help it not settle so much but I find myself trying to sleep in the middle of bed (much to my husbands dismay) where is the only place it is still firm. I wake up with major back every morning due to the lack of support. As I said before I new this would happen eventually I just did expect it so quickly and I'm really disappointed. I wish had I returned before the 100 instead of giving it a chance and now I am stuck with a bed that causes me pain. Just warning to anyone buying the support does not last long. I really wanted to love it but sadly it fell short.

This is the first mattress I have purchased that I am not regretting. After the very first night I slept on the mattress, I woke up without any pain. It was the first time in about 2 years. I have convinced friends to buy this mattress. It really is the best around. I was very skeptical about purchasing this mattress online. I did research into other brands that sell online including Helix, Casper, and Nectar and decided on this mattress. I was especially impressed they were granted a patent on this design. It was well deserved because their design works. I'm still skeptical of the "raw egg test". I haven't tried it personally but I have seen videos posted by regular users. Regardless, this is the first mattress you will experience no pain from waking up.
