I bought my purple mattress after weeks of no sleep. Suffering from serious back pain after a car accident, I was desperate. Expensive yes, but, the best decision I've ever made. I can sleep with no more pain or physical therapy. No more pain medication either. Thank you Purple people!

I have been sleeping on this new purple mattress for a couple weeks now. it is soft, yet supportive and has just the right amount of bounce. My husband and I both really love it. our dog is also very much in love with our new mattress. Rudy the french bulldog would love to see a purple in his size someday!

We bought the mattress and the sheets. We were skeptical at first but both my wife and I love them both. I fall asleep seconds after I get into bed, no more tossing and turning. We are going to but twins for our kids since one of them ends up in our bed all of the time. The whole purple experience has been great.

I'll start off with my reasons for needing a special mattress - I've had migraines regularly since I was in kindergarten, due to chronic muscle tension exacerbated by a nasty fall I took down a wooden staircase when I was 2. I've had back, neck, and shoulder pain for as long as I can remember. And over the past couple years I've been working to manage PTSD, which binds my muscles up extremely tightly, makes my body run hot (waking up soaked in sweat in the middle of the night - yuck), and makes it very difficult to sleep. The Purple mattress isn't a miracle - I don't spring out of bed every morning feeling perfect and sprightly. I still have mornings where I'm extremely stiff, and I always have to do an hour of yoga first thing to get myself ready to go out into the world. Sometimes I still lay in bed for a long time trying to get my muscles to release before I can sleep. However, the Purple mattress is the best mattress I've found for my needs. I may need to concentrate to get my muscles to release, but the Purple mattress provides exactly the right support my body needs to actually achieve that release. I don't wake up feeling perfect, but I definitely feel my best (and I notice a huge difference when I sleep in a different bed, and even expensive "regular" mattresses don't compare to my Purple). The stiffness I described is much milder with my Purple. Not only that, but the flexible grid that makes up the top few inches keeps me much cooler than any other mattress I've tried. Again, it's not perfect - there's only so much anything can do when your adrenaline's running haywire - but I wake up hot much less often, and toss and turn looking for cool spots way less as well. My only sort-of complaint is that, because of my small size (I'm 5'3", 120 lbs), I don't sink down into the Purple as much as I'd like to. However, I sink down enough that my Purple is actually really soothing for me if I need to crawl in when I'm having a panic attack or flashback episode. The "sinking in" feeling sort of cradles my body and makes me feel more secure and in much less pain, so I can concentrate on breathing and doing my processing exercises to move through the attacks more easily. Because the mattress contours to me, it's a very safe, comfortable, secure place to recenter myself. This goes the same for when I wake up panicking due to a nightmare - this mattress is welcoming enough that I don't usually have the intense need to get out of bed in those circumstances. So I get back to sleep faster (which in turn really helps with my day-to-day management). My migraines are way down, and so are the random muscle spasms I used to get periodically during the day. My pain overall is greatly diminished. Most people don't think about special mattress needs for PTSD, but this mattress has been an amazing addition to my management. Again - not a miracle. But it's definitely the best mattress I've found for my particular needs. Thank you, Purple!

I bought this bed for my husband because of his back problems and I can say that it has helped relieve some of the tension and stress that is put on his back at night. At first, your back has to readjust to the bed and how your natural alignment is so it may be uncomfortable. However, after about 2 weeks, both of us felt better rested and his back felt more relief than it had while we were sleeping on the previous bed.

At first I was concerned by how firm this mattress is after I added supports to my frame, but I very much like it. Find it works well for every position. Normally on other mattresses I can't sleep on my stomach without waking up feeling like I'm being smothered and breaking in half, but I'm quite comfortable sleeping on my stomach on this mattress. The pillows are amazing! The sheets are awesome! I look forward to sleeping these days.

FINALLY!! A mattress that my husband loves! He likes his mattresses on the firm side - think sleeping on a cinder block. Me, not so much. I like mine a bit on the softer side. The first few nights were rough as there is an adjustment period, but now we both sleep a lot deeper and wake up feeling a lot better. We have gone through a few mattresses due to my husband, but we finally found a winner!!

The bed is super comfortable our cat loves it too! I have back problems so sleeping on this bed was a major relief. It was easy to open and unfold, as for carrying it I wish it had side handles to hold while moving it since it moves like jelly. The customer support was excellent in making sure it was perfect. We love it so far!

When I got the mattress I had just got home from work and set it up, i intended to just lay on it to try it out and fell right to sleep. Now about 2 weeks later and I have noticed a definite increase in energy throughout the day. (I am a painter going up and down 40 ft ladders and hauling around 5 gallon buckets). Even my coworkers have said it seems like I am in "beast mode" at work. As a result I just put an order in tonight for the Purple Pillow. Thanks Purple for the best sleep of my life!
