I like the mattress, but I love the mattress too ( the purple part). I am not a fan of memory foam material, and this mattress is unfortunately no exception. I wish I could buy the purple too independently, and have requested to do so. I also have considered tearing it off my existing purple mattress.

The bed itself is lovely. I've had back pain for years, being a tall lanky guy it's pretty hard to find a mattress that's firm enough for me. My wife had her own set of back problems as well. Our Purple mattress solved all of that. We're both loving it. It was delivered quickly, it was easy to install, and our back problems started disappearing night one. There's only one downside we've found compared to a traditional mattress, and that is that because of the way the mattress conforms to your body, combined with the silky smooth Purple sheets, we've had to change pillows to avoid neck pain we were getting at first. Also, there was some issues in ordering with the wrong color sheets being delivered, and honestly speaking, the return process could have been a little more friendly. Overall though I'm recommending this to anyone who asks. This has vastly improved my day to day by letting me sleep better than I have in years.

I purchased the Purple Plus and the adjustable base just a couple of months ago. I previously had a memory foam mattress. I just thought that poor sleep was just a by-product of being middle aged. Since sleeping on my Purple Plus, I fall asleep naturally, stay asleep longer, sleep cool (can't tell you how I never thought that was possible again!!), and wake up rested and refreshed! And it's been consistent. I thought the old sleep ways would return, but they haven't, and I couldn't be more pleased.

It took two weeks for this puppy to show up, and it was worth it. I look forward to a day when I can buy the newer version. I'm sure they made a few improvements. I never wake up feeling sore or stiff anymore. I highly recommended their bamboo sheets. I really don't think you can beat the original purple for the price. You won't be disappointed. Great bed, great concept.

I still find myself in a considerable amount of pain in the vicinity of my thighs . This causes me to have to turn over several time during the night to relieve the pain so I can get some sleep between turnovers. Overall I have a poor sleep quality and almost every day I fall asleep while working at my computer and occasionally at the dinner table. Fortunately, when I am on the road I do not get sleepy behind the wheel which is a blessing because I'm on the road six days a week to and from the job site. I don't hold the PURPLE entirely responsible for my poor sleep because I have lousy sleep habits too. I'm planning on keeping the mattress because when I pass away I expect one of my grandchildren will get what would be a good mattress for a normal person. I'm on the top side of 80 and I expect the PURPLE to out last me. Thanks for listening, Lanny

Upgraded from the Purple to the Purple Plus. No noticeable improvement in how the mattress does anything for our sleep. We are sleeping the same if not a little worse since getting it. Laying on my back I still feel the gap between my lower back and the mattress. Nothing special about this one unfortunately. Bummer to have upgraded and not gotten anything better than what we had.

I do really love the texture and feel of the purple, and the support it provides. I also love the coolness and airflow in the mattress. My biggest concern is the sag that is developing, which seems unusually fast given the newness of the mattress. It doesn't feel bad yet, I'm just concerned about the long term longevity.

Love mattress and sheets. We are sleeping so much better. I dont wake up with a back ache as well. It is so comfortable I find my self watching TV in the bedroom more then in the family room. I think the wife likes that somewhat, because she has control of the TV remote more often now. Thank you Purple Mattress for helping me get a good nights rest again.

I'll be honest, I was thinking it would be a bit more comfortable than it is but overall I'm still happy with the mattress. I think the problem for me is I'm a bigger person so it doesn't really cradle my pressure points in the way it's designed. So, side sleep isn't as comfortable as I would like but stomach sleep is pretty great. The pillow is actually my favorite--it cradles my head perfectly w/o getting too stiff. The sheets are 'meh'. The fabric drapes around too easily, and if you toss and turn like I do, that means it ends up entangled around your torso. Plus, I've only used them less than a month and the fitted sheet has already started pilling--not good. Overall, I'm still happy with the purchase, just not as happy as I had hoped to be. If you are going to buy anything, definitely buy a Purple pillow at least, it's the best.

I am a big guy over 6' and over 275 lbs. I was sceptical. Instead, I was comfortably surprised. The mattress feels great and supports me easily. I have had 4 spine surgeries, so if anyone's back would have a problem it would be mine. Instead I sleep very well and sound. Thank you, Thank you!!
