I have only had this mattress a few weeks and the first 2 nights it actually felt pretty nice, but I was so hot! that alone keeps me awake every night. I hate being HOT!! Also after a week or 2 I noticed that the side I sleep on is probably about 2 inches lower then the other side and already has become super soft! So now I feel like Im always rolling dow hill. I don't know if I got a defective one or what. I read many good reviews before I made this purchase. I was really hoping it would work for me. But sorry to say I will probably be calling soon to send it back. I also bought the mattress protector which I still have not received. =(

My partner and I both came into the relationship with the common compromise of a memory foam mattress, because we couldn't afford something better. They were both lumpy and heat-sick from a few years of use. I slept on mine flipped over to minimize back pain in the morning. But when we finally chose to get a new mattress, we still couldn't afford a Tempur-Pedic. We went with Purple instead, as I had already tried one out for a night and loved it. Now we've been on it for a couple weeks, and have no regrets with the more affordable route. We started the first night thinking that something this soft and comfortable would leave our backs creaking in the morning, but we woke up sore-free and cool. During this recent heat-wave, the nights were still in the 70s, but the bed didn't make us sweat anymore than the hot air. My partner even slept with his Purple sheets, because they kept him so cool. One downside: We really don't like getting out of our new bed in the morning!

Mattress is unbelievably comfortable. You won't need 100 days to decide if you like it. I bought mine a week too soon though, if I would have waited a week I would have gotten the free seat cushion also. I just had back surgery so the mattress is a dream but that cushion would have made sitting so much easier right now.

I have fibromyalgia, many bulging discs, neuropathy and other ailments. I haven't been able to sleep in my bed more than 2 hours a night for over a year. Since we got the purple mattress, I can sleep all night. It really does relieve the pressure points.

Pros..quality...customer service...honest Cons...smell (does dissipate in a few days)...had a small problem with shipment ( ultimately resolved)....although cool initially found mattress to get just as hot as other foam matresses(problem for me, a bit disappointed

I broke my back in a car accident a few years ago, and unfortunately for me, the mattress just didn't do it for me. It was too soft and when i tried to sleep on my stomach i found that i just sank in and my neck was hyperextending backwards. Its a good mattress, just not the one for me.

I originally ordered a different mattress but after a month a shipping delays I canceled order and bought a purple mattress ordered on a Thursday was here on the following Tuesday best decision. I have cartilage/nerve damage in shoulder and used to routinely wake in pain not anymore I do wish I ponied up extra for hybrid as regular is a little soft for my liking but that's my own fault as every "professional" review I read was heavier people should upgrade to hybrid but not waking up in pain in still worth it

Had it for a month and am disappointed at just how firm it is. I'm a side sleeper/ occasional back sleeper. I definitely thought my head would sink in way more but It barely makes a dent. Even on my back, my head does not feel supported by how little it sinks in. I ended up flipping it to the insert side, which helps. But it doesn't live up to the purple jelly technology I was expecting. Which is misleading because when you feel the pillow with your hand, you'd think the weight of your head would have a similar effect. The edges of the pillow sink in a bit more but obviously that's not practical long term, so I'm hoping the harmony pillow will be better suited for me.

I feel like I'm laying on a large waffle. It is supportive where I need it to be and gives where I need it but I'm not 100% sold on it yet. I came from a sleep number bed that wasn't for me though and I love the support. I wish it had more of a pillow top honestly that would make it a perfect bed in my opinion.

Really don't see what the big deal is about this mattress, plus, the return policy isn't as transparent and easy as it seems. My husband wakes up with a sore neck or hip almost every day now, which I thought this mattress was supposed to prevent against? He had no pain before. I'm doing okay with it joint wise however, it is the most uncomfortable thing I've ever laid on.
