Had the purple mattress for about a month now and am very happy with its performance. Most comfortable sleep I've had in a long time. No more achy back in the morning. Be sure to get the stretchy sheets they recommend to allow the mattress to cradle you instead of the sheets. For the price it's a high performance mattress of great quality. I also suggest getting the pillows my neck pain after sleep is no longer there. Highly recommend all of purple's products.

I bought a queen sized Purple.3 mattress earlier this year and I have completely enjoyed it. I truly sleep much better than with my old traditional spring mattress. Pros: (1) The Purple mattress is much more temperature neutral and does not retain as much heat as my previous mattress. Which has been amazing! (2) No pressure points! The mattress very evenly distributes my weight (I'm 160 lbs, and mostly sleep on my side). Cons: The only downside, in my opinion, is how difficult this mattress is to maneuver. I moved to a different house after getting my new Purple mattress, and not only is this mattress much heavier than my old traditional spring mattress, but it is very flimsy and just a pain to move. I know I will have to move again while I still own this mattress, and I'm really not looking forward to that. So, if the Purple engineers are reading this, please consider putting some sort of reinforced handles on the sides of the mattress. Overall, I LOVE this mattress, and I will definitely purchase this brand again in the future.

No more back or hip pain. Both my husband and her I suffer from back and hip pain. We decided we'd give this bed a try. It's been 3 weeks and we both feel so much better. We can now get up in the morning without hobbling around. We're in our 70's and the Purple Bed is fantastic. He's a back sleeper and I'm a side sleeper.

I was so excited when the delivery driver pulled up with that big Purple duffel! The set up was super easy. Literally unzip the bag, cut away the plastic, and the mattress pretty much unrolls itself. I loved that it popped up virtually instantly because I was expecting to have to wait for hours for the mattress to expand as was my experience with memory foam but this was not the case. It was ready right away. Also notable, there was no nasty out-gassing odor as with foam. My husband was skeptical because after I ordered the mattress he went online and read all of the negative 1 star reviews. He said he didn't want to be disappointed and was concerned that it would be too soft for him after a low back injury. Today, he actually said, "I like your Purple mattress. I give it my endorsement." We both a resleeping better. I used to wake up several times a night and once awake have to get up and use the bathroom. Now I'm sleeping until morning and feeling so much more rested. I don't get overheated. There are no pressure points for my joints. I can sleep in any position and be comfortable but laying on my back with this mattress feels like floating. The only thing I would have loved is if the mattress itself had been a solid purple color like the duffel it came it. That would have been sweet! I wanted a Purple mattress, literally, but no way will I send this back!

My previous mattress of only 2 years was starting to sink and really hurt my back. Before I bought the purple mattress I was actually sleeping on my couch for months! One day I told myself I had to buy it! and I'm so glad I did. Back problems are gone, more restful sleep, and the women love it too if you know what I mean ;) I waited over a month to write to review to make sure there were no issues with the bed. But the bed is as good as new if not better. My advice get this bed now, you will not regret it!

It's been 3 nights so far, too early to rate the mattress 5 stars. I actually wake up refreshed, rather than "sore". Our Purple mattress replaced a Seally Posturepedic. We appreciate the fact that movement doesn't transmit throughout the bed (the wife likes that). The platform is very sturdy (and plenty of room for storage (I am working on "drawers" to surround the base). The mattress arrived 3 weeks (as scheduled) after ordered, extremely well packaged. The platform arrived a week after that. Platform was very easy to "assemble" and well constructed. Definitely need 2 people to unpack and place the mattress on the platform. We believe this mattress will be with us for a long time.

For this buyer, temperature and pressure points were the two main reasons for trying the Purple bed and in both areas, Purple was a win for me. I'm a sleep-sweater, so staying cool was a priority. The Purple mattress is actually cold, and while one might think that's not an ideal way to sleep, I found it to be a pleasant benefit. Additionally, I no longer wake up with stiff knees or back so something must be working! Even a quick sprawl on the bed feels good on my troublesome joints. If you're wondering whether or not you should try out the Purple, do it: you don't have anything to lose

Me and my fiancé have two different preferences when it comes to mattresses so the fact that we both love this mattress says a lot. The days of one of us waking up feeling bad are over. Can not recommend this mattress enough. Especially in combination with there pillows.

I am a disabled veteran with a bad back and a bad neck. The regular pillow tops, memory foam and firm mattresses were all either too hard or too soft and I woke up sore from multiple tries on different mattresses. I decided to try the purple because of the 100 night guarantee. Once I got the purple and used it, it felt wonderful! I woke up more refreshed since I was sleeping all night and not being disturbed in the middle of the night by pain anymore. It is the best mattress that I have ever owned and would recommend it to anyone and have many times over.

My wife and I have had the Purple mattress for just a little over a month now. And so far and so good. Our old mattress was so hard It may take a little while to get used to a mattress that is softer. We both have been feeling better in the morning and not very much back pain. I''m sure it will take a little longer to get completely comfy with it. Just got back from a trip with friends and I could tell the difference sleeping on a reg mattress.
