I have significant back problems, fibromyalgia, arthritis, bursitis and thyroid disease. Needless to say, getting a good nights sleep has been difficult for me for many years. I had a really good bed, purchased in the Midwest for 15 years. It's pretty worn out and I can't find another like it here in Idaho. They don't sell them out here. I've searched and searched for a bed that is softer for most of my pain, but firm enough to support my bad back. I believe I found it, because the Purple is just right! I ordered another mail order mattress last year and it was good, but not as good as the Purple. I returned it and ordered the Purple. I'm amazed at how well it supports my back while completely eliminating my other aches and pains. Thank you Purple!

Everything finally came in. Although i don't understand why i received it in three different shipments. The mattress is very firm. Almost as firm as the one i just got rid of. Still find it hot while sleeping. Not what was advertised. But still a very good product.

...I was very excited about this purchase under the belief that it would help a side sleeper who tends to sleep hot feel more comfortable. So far it seems pretty hard & I'm not noticing much difference at all from my Seely mattress in terms of temperature (which was half the price). I'm going to give it a little while longer before I determine whether it stays or goes...

First off I am 6'6" so not the shortest.. I have never bought a new mattress as they have always been a hand me down from a parent or good friend. We've had the mattress about a month and it have been a complete life changer. My fiancé and I have never slept better! It took a couple of night sleeps to get used to it and let our backs adjust back to how they are supposed to be after sleeping in a good bed. Now I wouldn't trade this mattress for anything else. I would say that there is not a better mattress out on the market! Anyone that owns a Purple knows what I'm talking about! Thank you for designing a product that will last longer and always sleep right! We couldn't be happier. Thanks Purple!! By the way great marketing and advertising!

The Purple Mattress is the BEST purchase I have ever made. I suffer from insomnia along with neck and back pain. My arms would go numb throughout The night but it hasn't happened once since buying and sleeping on my awesome Purple Mattress. I could not be more pleased.

Sleeping better than ever. Love the support. We don't wake each other when one of us moves in and out of the bed. We purchased a king bed for the first time and I feel like the center is more dense than either side. While I don't feel like I'm falling off the edge, I do sense a slight slope from the center to the edge. It does not interfere with my sleep!

Ok. I just woke up from my first night's sleep on the purple mattress. First off let me say that I have had several back surgeries and still have 2 rebuilt vertebrae, 3 missing disks, 2 rods, 10 hooks, a missing rib and a titanium vice on the inside of my spine so let your imagine go as to how much pain I am used to feeling upon getting out of bed. To my great surprise and overwhelming delight I got out of bed this morning, after only one night, and was able to walk down my steps to the first floor of my house without having to go one step at a time. As I am writing this review I am actually hoping that it is really just all in my mind and that by the end I will still feel the pain I am accustomed to and will just close the browser page. When first laying down on the mattress I was unsure if it was going to work because it is such a different feel than the normal mattresses on the market (even the memory foam). I am 55 years old and am one of those people that take at least an hour, usually more, to fall asleep. Not so on the purple mattress. I don't even remember how or when it happened. I just fell asleep. Such a weird feeling after so many years of tossing and turning and finally passing out instead of going to sleep.. Let's talk heat. I wake up every morning, even in the dead of winter, burning up with no sheets or blankets on as I have kicked them off sometime in the night. Not on this mattress. Now they claim that is due to airflow but I am not sure that those little purple squares allow ANY airflow but somehow someway I woke up and wasn't exactly cool but I most certainly was not hot in the least and was still under the bedding. Yet another weird feeling. I am going to wrap this up because I could really go on and on but let me just say this, if you are in the market for a new mattress you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not at least try the purple mattress. I am sure it is not for everyone but if it can please me, a person who is NEVER satisfied with anything, and so far for me it has lived up to everything claim the company made, then you might find it as great as I do right now. I will be sure to write another review after the recommended 30 days of my trial or upon returning it to Purple which ever comes first. ORDER IT NOW! Why spend another night sleeping lousy? What have you got to lose? They say you can return it if not satisfied. PS. I am hoping to become a back sleeper in the near future now that the pain giving bed has been replaced by Purple. For me: I love it except for one item which I'll get to. I love the firmness, yet support. When on my back I feel this is the most comforable mattress I've ever been on. I find myself sleeping almost the entire night on my back and not tossing and turning. I wake up with no back ache which is wonderful. But when on my side I get great support from my hips up. Probably because I'm a heavier guy it seems as though my knees sink a bit leaving my feet suspended above the mattress which will end up hurting my knees. This is mainly when my legs are straight, not as much when bent. My wife: She is not feeling the love of purple. One thing she does like is the cooling. She is a hot sleeper and with purple she does not wake in sweat anymore. But that's about it. She has arthritis so the firmess is not working for her. We are only about a month end so have not decided if we are going to return it yet or not. Maybe get a pad for her half of the bed, not sure.

My husband and I LOVE this mattress. It lives up to the hype. We first bought an original for our guest room and liked it so much that we now have a second one in our master bedroom. I don't know how to describe it other than the best combination of supportive but soft. It's incredible! I have now recommended it to several friends.

This mattress is THE best mattress I have ever slept on. I sleep in many positions but this is the only bed to hug my body the right way when I do so. In the past, I had to place my arms in weird positions to help support parts of my body that's were receiving too much pressure from the mattress. For that, my shoulders and hips say thank you, Purple.
