My wife and I tried to sleep on our new purple bed for several weeks. We woke up feeling more in pain every morning. It got to where we couldn't even lay on it to relax for a few minutes. Unfortunately we will have to return the mattress. I'm sure it works well for some people but for us it was too firm and straining on the hips and back.

I am very happy with this mattress so far! It is an excellent alternative to the memory foam competitors. I feel like I am sleeping on a supportive cloud. My only two minor gripes are due to shallow depth, sheet sets are difficult to find. The second is the perimeter isn't super supportive so if you sit on the edge of your bed to put on clothes it's not great.

I was first exposed to this bed through their wacky ad campaigns on YouTube. After that I was instantly curious about this bed! I have been through countless styles of beds, firm, soft, memoriy foam and so on. All of these beds left me sore and stiff in the morning. At this point I decided I'd give Purple a try, I mean heck, they give you 100 nights to try it out, so I thought what did I have to loose! After only the first night I was 100% sold! I woke up feeling completely rested and not sore! The bed itself was like nothing I'd ever experienced before, it was somewhat firm yet it supported and gave in all the right places! I would definitely recommend this bed to anyone that was remotely curious about trying it out!!! My only complaint was that they didn't have a full size bed of the new Purple mattress, so I had to get the original. Which the original is still good, but I feel like I'm missing out on something so much better! Someday I will definitely upgrade to the newer version!!!

I had heard much about the Purple Mattress and had researched for over a month. I finally decided to buy, and am happy I did. The mattress is good and comfortable. I was hoping for more body contouring, however, it is comfortable. Considering my previous mattress had worn out so much, I am still trying to benchmark if this is as good as a buy and if it measures up to the hype. I also do not like the fact that the "new" smell stays a bit too long. I actually gave the mattress a full week to air out before sleeping on it and washed the cover. However, the smell has lingered quite a bit. Overall, I am getting better sleep, but time will truly tell whether the purchase was worth the money.

Don't know how to sound anything less than 100% satisfied with this product! Great price, easy delivery, easy to install (minor time to decompress foam), no odor, and of course many great nights of sleep. So far so good! The only test left now is longevity.

Purple came highly recommended from several people we talked to. Initially when I first laid on it I thought to myself this is way too firm BUT it's perfect. The purple matrix really is something you have to adjust to. We bought the pillows as well. It took about a week to get a really good feel for it and my husband and I both love it! He is a stomach sleeper and I a back and side sleeper. I always woke up with hip pain but not with purple! We highly recommend!

The mattress itself is GREAT. I have to say I am not too pleased with the foundation. The mattress rests on a 16inch metal frame and even though the mattress itself is sturdy enough to not transfer motion, the frame is squeaky and noisy and every time my husband moves, it wakes me up. There is also no "box spring" you rest the mattress on so it moves easily if you bump into it. Overall, mattress itself is EXCELLENT, NOT happy about the foundation.

My husband and I love our purple mattress. My husband was uncertain before and after I ordered it, but once we got it in and started sleeping on it, he fell in love quickly, and even made the statement "we will probably use Purple for the rest of our lives". We love it.

My husband and I both love the mattress. We've had memory foam mattresses in the past, but this is definitely better. I can now sleep on my side, which I haven't been able to do in years. We upgraded to a King size bed from a Queen, so between the great mattress and increased space, we are sleeping SO much better! I just wish Purple would make a foundation for the mattress that works with a traditional bed (headboard, footboard, side rails).

I have had the bed for about 3 weeks not and I have to say that I am impressed! It sleeps very comfortably. I do not get hot! I do not sink to far into the mattress so that I would not roll around (I am over 225 lbs.). I do not ache in the mornings !!! The mattress comes in that sleeping bag roll... if you move this by your self and plan to set it up by yourself, It is like moving a 110 lbs. drunk person or dead body... it moves but it just flops around... once you go to get it out of the bag it would be nice if there where some unrolling instructions on the plastic wrap... so that you don't unroll it upside down... NOTE: I did not have to cut the bag that holds it as packaging!! it just slid out... its a huge duffle bag!! unfortunately my vacuum seal was busted so there was no rewarding inflation while unwrapping... and then I had to flip the mattress over which is harder than you would think... (Think flipping a 110LBS wet noodle)... I would buy another mattress from them again... The purchase process is very easy ... The waiting on shipping is like waiting on Christmas morning though!! It took about a week for it to get here...
