When I moved, I decided to change the size of my bed, so I needed a new mattress. I was happy with my previous mattress brand, but they had changed their design, and none of them felt like the old mattress, so I started shopping. I was considering Purple when someone I knew recommended another brand to me. They had a one year, no questions asked guarantee, so I figured "why not"? I gave the mattress the 3 month break in period they recommended, and my back problems got worse and worse. I ended up sleeping on the couch before I ordered the Purple. I wanted to put off buying the Purple mattress until I received my refund, but couldn't wait. The no questions, no problem comfort warranty has had a few problems. And questions. I slept on the Purple mattress (make that MY Purple mattress) the first night it came and I have no worries about their warranty, because it is staying here. Permanently. My back feels great, my hips don't hurt. I can sleep on either side and wake up with pain free shoulders, its awesome because I have had surgery on both! I haven't slept so well in years. So if you want my advice (and you do or you wouldn't be reading this) just order the Purple. Soft with excellent support. I love it. Other mattresses have warranties that promise a prompt refund, but it isn't always true, so save your money, save your time and save your back and joints! Just buy the Purple!

I've been dealing with serious lower back pain for several years and decided to give purple a try. I'm able to get a good night's sleep again. My pain level in the morning is much lower. For me, I'd call the mattress on the softer side of medium...I'm about 150 lbs. It's a bit like floating instead of sinking...if you've been in pain trying to get out of a sinking bed, you know how awful that is. This doesn't happen to me on the purple. I'd highly recommend giving purple a try...it is different, but for me it is a game changer.

As soon as I laid in the bed I knew it was gonna be a big pillow. My body was so used to the old mattress that the first night I fell asleep in a record time, but woke up sore because I'm used to either sunken memory foam or hard mattresses. It breathes so well I dont wake up overheated or nasty in sweat. I have actually overslept more because it's that great.

My wife and I are upgrading from a ten-year-old, run of the mill pillow top mattress. We were looking for something that didn't require a box spring, something that slept a little cooler, and a size upgrade. We were VERY hesitant at first when we tested the Purple mattress out - it has a very strange feeling to it. But within a few nights, we were in love with it. I am going to hate having to sleep in hotels now! It's fantastic. We think it's quite comfortable for both of us, we disturb each other less when moving around, it sleeps cooler, and of course, the King is nice.

I have had the bed for a few weeks and I'll be honest I am not sold on it yet. It seems so firm. I think I might be too light to actually have it fully support me. I am a side sleeper and I hardly "sink" into it on my pressure points. Its just that I wake up and I don't feel like my spine and neck have been in alignment all night and it makes my back hurt. I will give it more time in case I am one of the ones who goes through a longer adjustment period.

The purple harmony pillow (the one you don't have) is sooo soft and light! I thought it was too soft and squishy at first, but it still provides support. I think you're going to like it The purple pillow that I have seems much higher and harder than yours which I'm less of a fan of right now.

This is awesome! It's weird how I'd gotten used to little aches and pains from my old mattress, and when I first started sleeping on this I would think, "Oh, so my knees don't *have* to twinge like that. Huh, who'd have thought." I fall asleep so much faster, stay asleep so much better, and wake up feeling so much better. I am so glad I bought this.

My wife and I have had our Purple mattress for over 3 months now. We love it! Best sleep in years. I've been out of town for work, and I couldn't wait to be back home to sleep in my own bed. This mattress has changed us. My wife no longer wakes up with back pains from her scoliosis, like she did with our other mattress. We're 100% satisfied with this mattress!

Wanted to love this bed but don't recommend to anyone. The topping of the mattress cover us way to thin. It supports my hips and back just fine (i'm a side sleeper) but my shoulders keep falling asleep so I am constantly shifting from one side of my body to the other. We are going to send this mattress back and are going to go with a different product.

My husband and I have owned a Tempurpedic (two different models), and a sleep number bed. I hated them both. Ever since I started having kids I have had pain in my lower back. I slept with a lumbar pillow at the base of my spine just under my hips, just to try and ease the tension. We bought the Purple king-size mattress in June 2016, while I was visiting my family in Alpine, UT (where the Purple factory is). At that time I had been going to physical therapy for my back pain for a couple of months. After a few nights of sleep on our new Purple, I noticed the back pain beginning to subside. Since my back was feeling better, I stopped going to physical therapy. It is now October 2016, four months after purchase, and I have had no lower back pain. I no longer have to sleep with an annoying pillow under my hips. After a few weeks of sleeping on the Purple, my husband decided to sleep on our old Tempurpedic (which has been moved to the guest room), just to see if he could tell a difference. He has always been happy with the Tempurpedic and the sleep number beds, but after that one night on the Tempurpedic, he felt a huge difference in his quality of sleep. He said that the Tempurpedic was like sleeping on a cement slab. My 10-year-old son (who has arthritis) wishes he could have one, but they don't make a normal Twin-size mattress. He tells everyone about his parents' Purple mattress, even encouraging visitors to try out our bed. He even sleeps with the Purple seat pillows we own, and takes them to church with him to sit on. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my purple mattress.
