I would highly recommend this mattress to anyone without existing back issues. The mattress didn't aide in relieving my back pain, however I have a family member that now uses the mattress and says it's the best because they have slept on! Superb construction and materials.

I'm a single person in the King size bed. I've owned it a year. Recently I've gotten a boyfriend, and it was then that I realized how sunk in my side mattress is compared to his (because no one slept on his side for a year). Cuddling, we called it the black hole, and found it uncomfortable! After a year, I'm considering getting a different mattress I'm really disappointed my mattress broke down this way.

Past experience with mattress I have had standard spring mattress. Somma Waveless mattress. 2 memory foam mattress. All mattress state they "sleep cool" or some line like that but I always felt hot. This is the first mattress I have had that does sleep cool. The spring mattress sag. One memory foam mattress got moldy. The second memory foam mattress was very hard & I had shoulder problems for years & never knew it was due to the mattress. I no longer wake up sweating or with my arms numb. My shoulders still have some problems but I would say its reduced 70-80% now. It did take 2 or 3 weeks for my body to adjust to it so if you do get one be sure to give it time.

I LOVE MY MATTRESS!!!! I wake up every morning WITH NO STIFFNESS! I haven't felt that good in years! About 6 months ago I bought a Memory foam mattress from Sealy and returned it within a week. I was hot and miserable. My Purple mattress retains absolutely no heat. PURPLE....my new favorite color & mattress!

I purchased the purple mattress about a month ago. I did so much research on all the mattress companies online since we have a tight squeeze up the stairs to or bedroom and we needed something that came rolled or in a box. When the purple finally shipped I was like a kid right before Christmas. I couldn't wait. I was not home when my boyfriend set up the mattress but all I know it was heavy! He said the set up was so easy and pain free. I can say a month later, I am sleeping better than I ever did. I did not have back pain prior to buying this mattress and was just looking for something comfortable to get a better nights rest. At this point I am battling alittle bit of mid back pain, I did not change anything I did in my lifestyle except the mattress so I do feel like the pain is coming from the purple. I still have this bed 4 stars because it is comfortable. It is not too soft or too stiff, when you first sit or lay in the bed you feel as if you are sinking in, but then once you are in for a few seconds it starts to firm up making it a great support system for your body. You can literally feel the support. For motion transfer it's pretty good. I am able to get in and out of bed without waking up my son or boyfriend because we all sleep together. For the sleeping cool I would honestly give the bed 0 stars because I don't feel any cooler, I honestly want to say it holds in heat more. There is a few flaws about this mattress but overall. I am waking up feeling better and have more energy. I will keep this mattress but not sure if I would buy again.

I've tried many mattresses over the years and had recently become curious and interested in the Purple mattress. when finally deciding to go shopping online for a replacement mattress this spring, I became distracted by several ads from other mattress companies, and went with a memory foam mattress - BIG mistake!! I am peri-menopausal, and suffer back and neck pain, and memory foam was WAY too hot of sleeping temperature for me. I ended up returning that mattress for a refund at the end of this summer, and decided to purchase the Purple -- SO GLAD I SWITCHED! It provides everything you advertise -- great support for pressure points, cooler sleeping temperature, etc. I agree with other reviewers that it takes a night or two to get used to the different feel of the mattress. But after that, ooh it is SO comfortable that I don't want to get out of bed in the morning because it is so comfy! THANK YOU PURPLE!

This is a great mattress. I have slept on it for a week now and enjoy the softness and support. The mattress has a very soft top and firm next layer. I like it, but for me to love it I would like it the next level of firmness to be a bit more firm. Some put the mattress at firmness level 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. I think it is more like a 5. I will continue to test it and currently 50/50 about returning it before the end of the 100 day trial. Note that I purchased the bamboo sheets as well, the sheets I really do not like, wish I could return them. The sheets are very stretchy which I guess is good for the fitted on covering the mattress, but for the top sheet it bunches up easily and makes rolling over at night very difficult and it is easy to become uncovered with the top sheet. I would suggest staying with your preferred sheets. All in all my experience with Purple is they are better then spring mattresses, I like the Purple mattress but do not love it. If it was just a bit firmer I might love this mattress.

After a full month of sleeping on the Purple Bed (Queen), the first time I laid on it was the day it arrived and my back ached because it knew the bed was different. It felt like it was straightening out my spine while laying on my side, and after about twenty minutes, the lower back pain disappeared entirely and has never returned. My wife, my 1-year-old daughter, and I then took a long nap on the bed the same night, and surprisingly my daughter who, would normally sweat profusely on her own toddler bed, continued to remain asleep for many hours later beside me, sweat-free, even after my wife woke up feeling refreshed and free of pain. It was amazing! After a few weeks, I've been having a lot of vivid dreams too, waking up feeling like I've slept more hours than intended, and sweating no more due to an imbalance of body heat regulation throughout the night. The Purple bed material is superbly comfortable and contours to the body perfectly every time. Unfolding the Purple bed was easy enough, the first day's results are felt overnight, and after a few weeks more your body gets so adjusted to it that the comfort level is indescribable--you'll really want to just stay on this bed all the time. If you are on the fence about Purple or even a little bit skeptical, I highly recommend you try it out and see if it fits right for you. Imagine waking up feeling better than ever, no more sweating at night, and being able to fall into deep sleep every time. You won't be disappointed, so take the plunge and become a believer!

My husband and I both love our purple mattress. Didn't have to get adjusted to it like other new mattresses we have purchased. Great sleep on the first night we had it. Usually I wake in the morning with achy spots, but not with purple. We are very happy with our purchase of the purple mattress.

it is an amazing feeling to awake up in the morning and feel refreshed and loose. As someone who would constantly toss and turn at night to find a comfortable position, I was impressed with supportive the mattress and how easily I was able to move without feeling sunk into the mattress.
