Before Purple, I had a funky mattress on which I had 5 layers of memory foam; it sank a bit in the middle though, and not good for the back. A couple nights on Purple, it felt too firm [hard], so I put a memory foam on top which seemed to be more comfortable. So when I say 'still hopeful' I'm stating that I'm still waiting to like it cuz it was said it would take a few wks to get used to, being an optimistic person.

My husband and I decided to try Purple at the recommendation of a friend after his purchase. Having been in a bad car wreck in 2002, nights were always restless because I could never sleep comfortably no matter what position I slept in. I always woke up with a stiff/sore back and neck and felt like I hadn't slept much. Two years ago we bought a Purple and I was a bit skeptical but excited all the same. The first 3 nights were a bit odd adjusting to the feel of the bed because I literally couldn't feel the bed under my body. It was like sleeping suspended in air!! But I quickly noticed I was sleeping hard and sound all night and waking up with zero pain which hadn't been the case in 15 years. We loved the bed so much that we recommended it to others who also instantly fell in love with Purple and continued to spread the word. My daughter - a hockey goalie, was tossing and turning in her sleep complaining how hot the mattress was and was waking up with headaches so I decided to order her the same bed we purchased 2 years ago (original Purple) believing if it helped my husband and I sleep better, that it would do the same for her. As an athlete, she needed a bed that adjusted to her petite yet muscular frame and temperature as she always runs warm. She immediately loved the bed and said it sleeps cooler and I noticed she wasn't tossing and turning when I'd check in on her throughout the night. I posted this purchase on Facebook and how much I recommend parents of athletes to buy this bed for their kids because it's a game changer for them. So much so that I thought about going into sales for this product because it is by far the best bed design and invention I've ever encountered. I plan to buy my oldest daughter and her husband one for their new home purchase, especially since the announcement that she's pregnant. There is no better bed for her to sleep on in my opinion. I could go on and on about this bed but in a nut shell, IT IS THE BEST PURCHASE AND DECISION we've ever made!! You will love it. Thank you Purple for designing a mattress that doesn't keep me up all night. I've never slept so good in my entire life.

I love this mattress so far, had it about a month and a half or so. I sleep great on it, I wake up feeling rested, even my 2 month old loves it. Literally the only thing I would change if I could go back and do it again is I would order a day later, because I missed getting a free pillow with my order. Seriously though, it's a really good mattress and in 10 years when the warranty is up, I'll be buying another one.

I was apprehensive about dropping the kind of money I did for a bed....however, after sleeping on the Purple bed I could not be any happier about my investment! My next purchase will definitely be a pillow or two to see if that helps even more with my sleep. I am very pleased with quality and my new found sleep!!!

So my wife and I had a disagreement. She wanted a purple and I wanted a Casper. I won and we have been fighting for two years. So we moved and I told her that I was open to getting a Purple if that would make her happy. Well, I am happy to report I was wrong. The Casper was a great mattress, but this purple is so much better. I cannot believe that I have been missing out this long. PS - I LOVE the fitted sheet and pillow case. All around great purchase.

My biggest fear of buying a mattress online was -- what if we didn't like it -- now what? Well, our queen mattress came as advertised. It was heavy and felt good to lay on. I liked it a lot. My wife has had some back issues, and as it turned out -- the Purple didn't work for her. The good news, however, we donated the mattress to a local women's shelter and received a full refund -- EXACTLY as promised and advertised. You can trust this company!

My husband and I bought a mattress with our bed frame and for over a year I had back problems and didn't sleep well at all. We decided to look for a new mattress a few months ago and tempur-pedic mattresses are nice but they are a little expensive. We decided to try our the Purple mattress and it does help with my back problems and I am sleeping better. My husband has noticed a difference too. Overall, it was a good decision.

It's the best mattress and nights sleep we've ever had and we have had a lot of beds, traditional high end, memory foam, Sleep number ( the worst), you name it. Purple just feels right as soon as you unroll it and it stays cool in hot weather and its 3 grand cheaper then the others!! Get a Purple you won't regret it!

We bought the queen size mattress with the sheets and pillows. We contemplated just buying the mattress, don't do it!! Buy it all, the sheets are the most amazing thing, the pillows were weird at first. The first night we slept on the bed we slept horribly but by night 2 we were hooked. We love it.

Completely worth the investment. It is so incredibly comfortable, supportive, and cured my anxiety-induced insomnia! No matter how stressed I am, my body can't help but sleep on Purple. When we had some trouble with our frame arriving, the customer service was nothing but helpful, and professional. Highly highly recommend!
