I was hoping this bed would help me with soreness in my legs and back that I thought might be partly due to my previous bed. ThePurple bed doesn't seem to be the silver bullet I was hoping for. I'm a back and side sleeper and lying on my back in this bed in this bed makes me sorer than my old one.

I slept on a waveless waterbed mattress for the past 28 years and loved it. With a recent move the mattress developed a leak, and I decided it was time for a change. I purchased the purple mattress and I can't say enough about how GREAT it is!! I have really bony hips and lower back issues... every time I slept on a regular mattress, I would toss and turn all night and wake in the morning in pain. The purple mattress is the closest I've come to the comfort of my waveless waterbed. My hips don't hurt, my lower back doesn't ache. This mattress has just the right amount of firmness but also feels like a soft hug, conforms to my body in just the right places and a have slept more soundly. I love this mattress and tell everyone about it!

My wife and I have had a pillow-top mattress for the past couple of years and over time the body cavity which formed became overwhelmingly uncomfortable - lower back pain, sore shoulders, and let's not forget how warm the top gets. The Purple mattress is firm but soft! It's the weirdest, but most amazing thing ever. I sleep on my back, my side, however I want and the experience has been great so far. The mattress is actually a bit cold when we get in which is an adjustment, but with the summer months approaching I'm definitely looking forward to it - nothing a nice fleece all year-around won't solve. My wife and I are in love with this mattress.

I have herniated discs in my lower back and had a matttess and box spring which was not soft. The first night I slept on the purple mattress, and every night since then I have felt a restorative, soft, supportive, luxurious sleep that allows me to relax while at the same time supports and aligns with my body. I love this bed. I usually start on my back and then sleep most of the night on my side. It supports any sleep position and truly feels as a restorative sleep. I always thought of sleeping as bliss. I have been looking for the right kind of mattress for a while. I tend to move around completely when I sleep so I don't have a stationary position but I have been working on trying to sleep on my back. As a child I slept on a firm mattress but as I got older and heavier that became an issue. I like the feeling of being able to sleep on top of the mattress not in it like most memory foam. I did like the pressure relief of quality memory foam but my wife and I have very different body types. Her hips would collapse the bed leaving me struggling to hold myself self up through the night giving me a sore body the next day. I did get a firmer bed but this also left my shoulders in pain. The purple tickets both those boxes for me it holds my body up without causing me to struggle in the night when sleeping on my side next to her. Yet it as enough give to be gentle on my shoulders. All around I'm very pleased with this mattress and think this is one of the best mattresses that can be purchased for any type of sleeper and age range.

This bed is super comfortable. It's the perfect balance of firmness and softness. Sometimes I don't even use a pillow because the mattress is just as comfortable on my neck. This was my first mattress purchase and all my friends recommended purple. I'm very pleased to recommend to others to choose purple as well. It's worth the investment to have a really comfortable bed and get better sleep.

Forget 100 days, I am never giving this thing up! In all honesty, it took like a week to get used to the different kind of support (I felt like I was falling, I guess because the directional give?). But now, I couldn't be happier. I think I'm on my third month now with the V2 mattress, and still every time I casually sit atop it, or climb into it, I am surprised with how comfortable it is. My husband prefers firm and I prefer pillowy-soft and with this thing there's no rock feeling, and no suffocation feeling, yet it's still as luxy-comfy as can be to both of us. I told the customer care team that reached out to see how I'm doing with it that I can't stop raving. I even leave my squishy sample on my desk at work to evangelize because I love it so much. You guys give referral bonuses?

I was nervous trying this bed because I had a sleep number bed that I had at a pretty soft setting (35.) The bed was leaking and it was time to look for a replacement. I was scared the purple would be too firm and I would hate it. I was so wrong. Yes it is firm but it is also soft. It's not something you can describe. You have to experience it to understand it. I fell asleep that first night expecting aches and pains but I didn't have one. Nothing. Just perfect sleep. And that has continued ever since. This bed is the best thing I have ever purchased and I am so happy I took a giant leap of faith with this bed. It has changed my life. I will say my normal pillow that I loved and adored no longer worked for me because I didn't sink into the bed as much as I had with my old mattress. I am still trying to find a good pillow that works for me and my neck issues but otherwise the only issues I have with the bed are forcing myself to get out of it and not lay in bed all day. Love love love my bed!!!!!!

Just pointing out This bed has made my back feel great again and not sure if Id buy it again but only because I'm not sure if I can get soft and comfy with the support my back needs. Pros - Great on back, Firm I'm 5'7'' 220, very supportive, cool feel not hot at all, definitely different but good feel to the mattress, priced decently. Cons - Firm is like a 9 out of ten if ten is the firmest. to close I've slept great this last month and haven't woken up many times like on my old mattress. definitely an improvement over my old king pillow top. I would recommend but not if you must have super soft
