I had been dealing with my old mattress for way too long. Thought I just got fat and that's why it wasn't comfortable anymore. Finally I got tired of waking up with my back hurting so I broke down and ordered a purple mattress. First night sleep I didn't move once. Woke up and was able to instantly get out of bed, no back pain at all. It's been like that every night since, good night sleep, no back pain in the morning. Couldn't be happier, just wish I could go back and time and buy this mattress back then instead of waiting as long as I did!

The purple bed is amazing. I never slept all night and always woke up with a sore back. Now I never wake up in the middle of the night and I never wake up sore. I tell everyone about purple! My mom says I should be a sales rep for purple! I carry the little grid around in my purse to show people.

Bought the mattress and my dog immediately approves of it. Super comfortable looking forward to first night's sleep. Fast delivery and easy set up literally unless you're using a headboard it's 8 wing nuts and 4 nuts and bolts to assemble the platform. Matress is ready within minutes after you get the thing unwrapped

Just got my first purple mattress. Before this i've always had spring mattress with a thick topper. Overall i'm very happy with the mattress for it's price point. It sleeps cool as advertised. It is firmer than i expected (i weigh around 160 and understand the heavier you are, the more you sink down. For me, i sink down on the top (purple) part of the mattress, but below that it's rather hard. Luckily i like a firm mattress but was expecting a little more give - so if you're looking for something to really sink into this may not be the mattress for you. Overall it seems to be great quality for the price and i have no regrets. I did buy the mattress cover from Purple which suggests it's the best option for a softer mattress - not cheap but i agree that the mattress is harder with a standard cotton cover.

I researched the mess out of mattresses before making this decision. Some were literally 10x what I paid for Purple and some were similar in form and function. Based on other reviews and having friends that let us lay on theirs, we put the order in. I expected a steep learning curve. I've had trouble sleeping (took over an hour to fall asleep every night) for years and have awakened every morning with back and joint pain for the last few. I'm a large man, sleep hot and a stomach sleeper so I wanted something that worked with all those things. Night #1 - I don't remember shifting around and tossing and turning at all. I also don't remember falling asleep - which is to say all the things I usually think about as I'm falling asleep. And... I rolled out of bed with no back pain. I've already talked three friends into buying one - seriously, there needs to be a referral program!!! I'm your best salesman! We are finishing week #4 on it and every night but one was exactly like that. (Too much on my mind that one night) Icing on the cake? My wife and I just returned home from an overnight anniversary trip to a ritzy hotel that bragged about their beds. I tossed and turned and my back hurts! I can't wait to sleep in my Purple tonight. For my wife, I'd say this. She had a tougher time the first few nights adjusting to it, but still woke up with no back pain or soreness. She's a back/side sleeper. She loves it now after getting used to it. Yes, I'd buy it again. In a heartbeat.

I've suffered a spine injury which required surgery, and I've not got a good night sleep since then. The purple mattress keeps me comfortable no matter how I sleep. 10/10 would certainly recommend to anyone looking to make the switch from a conventional or memory foam mattress.

I needed a new mattress desperately and after months of researching, I settled on a Purple mattress (as my brother has one and raves about it). I bought one and my parents did as well. A purple family. I wanted to love this mattress but I don't. It's better than the godawful Sleep Number bed I had. But I still wake up with a sore low back every day. Also, the bed is shorter than a standard Queen mattress so I had to make an extension out of foam to tuck under the fitted sheet to give back those lost few inches (my husband's feet dangle off otherwise). What an odd choice to make on their part. I never even thought to check the measurements, I assumed a Queen would measure like a standard Queen. But it's notably shorter. I'm 5'7" and my feet come right to the edge of it without the extension I had to create. My husband is 6 foot. My parents also added a foam extension to their mattress for the same reason (we used foam left over from our former Sleep Mattress beds) I missed my chance to return within 100 days b/c my husband was out of the country when the mattress arrived and didn't return to test it out until past the 100 days. Like I said ... it's OK. Definitely better than what I had (Sleep Number mattresses are the worst!!), but far from the wonderful night's sleep I'd really hoped for (and desperately need).

I was very skeptical but was dying to try the new purple mattress. The first night I tossed and turned out of anxiety that I would not like it. Then from night two on I have slept like a baby. This mattress truly eliminates pressure points. I highly recommend you buy this mattress!!!! I promise you will love it! I wish I would have ordered the foundation originally so now I placed a second order to get the foundation. My current box is too squeaky. I'm hoping to order the sheets and pillow after that!!!!

I am a nurse that works 12 hour shifts and Have had many mattresses but none like the purple. It is amazing! Never knew what a difference a mattress could make. Slept so sound and woke up feeling so rested! It really is the best ever. Love the comfort and the look is nice.

When I first purchased this mattress, it slept like a dream. That was right around when covid hit. Fast forward a few months (nowhere near a year, but past their window to return or exchange. Red flag. Some competitors offer a year. Now I know why purple does not!) and it's not as comfortable and firmed up. I even reached out to Purple asking if they sold a mattress topper for folks who had already purchased their mattress. They don't. Now, not much over two years later, it's not just a little uncomfortable: flat out I despise it, regardless of what position I sleep on. You may as well save your money and sleep on a concrete slab. I've had air mattresses more comfortable.
