I love my purple bed. Ok. So it did take a bit to get used to. It does not feel like your typical plush bed that you might be used to. It's more of a floating feeling. But let me say this. I have NOT ONCE woke up with any hip back or shoulder pain. I didn't think that was possible. On my old matress my entire body hurt every night. There are zero pressure points on my purple matress. It is great. It gets more comfortable every night! If you try this out at a store you might be skeptical simply because it feels so different. When I first laid on it I had wondered if I made a mistake. After the first night I woke up with zero pain and my body didn't feel all crunched up and stiff. I thought maybe it was a fluke. It was not. I used to be very sore when waking in the morning feeling like I needed to move and stretch everything out. But there is some crazy purple magic in this bed. Every part of you is somehow supported. Just give it a chance. It is also super cooling. I mean, it's so cooling it barely leaves a warm spot from where you've been sleeping or lying down. I suppose the heat isn't getting trapped due to the purple grid. For reference, I'm generally a side or stomach sleeper. Sooo comfy. :)

We have been using the Purple bed for 3 years. We talked my parents into getting one. My dad is a roofer and he tore some things in his shoulder many years ago when he fell off and caught himself with one hand. He never got his shoulder fixed and had to sleep on the chair because of the pain. Then it got better, but he could never sleep on his sides, Only his back or the pain would come back. They have had the Purple bed for a month and he LOVES IT. He is back to sleeping all night, however he wants without feeling the pain! AMAZING!!! If I knew it would have been that life changing for him, we would have gotten him one years ago!!!!

So for me the mattress, though soft, had too much push back. (My husband who likes to sleep on his back liked it, but on my back it cut off the circulation to my legs. Too much upward pressure.) After sleeping on my side my shoulder was cracking during normal activities. I have never had shoulder problems before. It was so uncomfortable for me that I had to sleep on my back, where I felt like I was on an exercise ball bending backward. Way too much upward pressure. My husband loves the bed. He feels like his chest opens up when he sleeps on the bed and he feels supported. I feel as though the bed is rejecting me, literally pushing me away. I want to be held in my bed and not pushed off of it. I think you should sell a purple mattress topper, so when I find the right bed for me, I can get him a purple topper for his side.

I'm the type of person to do extensive research when I'm making big purchases. Finding a new mattress was one of those times where I wanted to make sure I was getting something that was going to be suited to my taste. What I love about Purple, aside from the brilliant advertising, is that it's totally one of a kind. I've slept on Casper, Tuft & Needle and even high-end Tempur Pedic beds and I'm not sure that Purple should be sized up next to those because it's totally a different thing. This bed is firm in places where it needs to be firm and soft in others. I weigh about 180 lb. and it seems to support my back and legs while allowing my shoulders and hips to sink into the top layer. It has a unique feel unlike any mattress I've tried before. I've been sleeping really well on it! I would imagine that if you're 250+ pounds the bed might feel "soft" for that person and if you are under 140- pounds the bed might feel firm. That's the only thing I would keep in mind. That being said, it does an incredible job of sleeping cool and keeping you supported in areas and hugging you in others. I love it!

I bought one for my younger son as a house warming gift and then he bought me one when I downsized and bought a new home. We love this mattress so much that I bought one for my older son and his wife for a belated wedding/honeymoon gift.

Really great mattress especially compared to our old mattress. Stays alot cooler then our last mattress however you might need the purple sheets for it to really be noticable. Also I would recommend getting one of the higher priced mattresses to have the best experience. We have the purple mattress but once we have it paid off we're upgrading and giving ours to a lucky family member.

Mattress arrived on time and in perfect shape. However, once I opened the mattress, it seems to be a few inches shorter than expected - the box springs and the bed frame are both standard size. However, the mattress is a few inches shorter in length. Not sure if this is a defect, or not.

I used to sleep on a heating pad every night because I was in so much pain from two previous back surgeries. My husband used to toss and turn every night from hip pain. Our old mattress was like sleeping on a board. We received our King 4 mattress and now the pain is gone for both of us. Its like sleeping on a cloud. All the pressure points are gone and we sleep like babies again. If you have aches and pains, you need this mattress!

I bought a queen size purple bed because our old bed had a dip in it. And I just want to say it wow. I absolutely love this bed. When this bed wears out I will be buying another to replace it. To be honest it does take about two weeks to adjust but when u do its so worth it. In the purple bed the other person doesn't feel u getting out of bed. I have a 2 year that sleeps with us and she sleeps so much better also. Thanks purple for making a fantastic bed.

First I was very skeptical. I had a bed that was old and ran thru. After some recommendations, I decided to buy this mattress and it was amazing. If you sleep with someone else, you really won't feel if they move or get up from bed. It kinda molds to your body and it's very comfortable.
