I'm enjoying my new mattress though my partner thinks it's a bit cold for her. I got a mattress pad as well but she also puts a blanket beneath our flannel sheets. I was disappointed that the mattress was delivered to the wrong house with a similar address on the same street but I was given a credit for the mattress pad as compensation for what happened.

I have very serious back, hip, neck pain that keeps waking me up all night long even with serious pain meds to help me sleep. I dreaded going to bed at night my bone and nerve pain made laying down torture. With the purple mattress I am truly sleeping much better. I am so glad that I got this mattress, sleeping makes life so much better.

We needed a full size bed for the bottom bunk of our daughter's bunk bed for one of us to sleep on when she has bad dreams. We bought a competitors bed, but it was too hard. We went with Purple and are so glad we did. It is the perfect combination of firm and soft. You don't sink in until it is uncomfortable to move, but rather, it cradles you. We are very happy and are recommending it to all we know!!!

I recently purchased this magnificent bed. I was weary about the price, but it was totally worth every penny. I have only had the bed for a week and I can honestly say I have never had a better nights sleep. I am a side sleeper and I am currently pregnant so the support and comfort is very important for me. I also have suffered from back issues since a car accident about 6yrs ago, I can now start sleeping on my back and wake up on my back like I never moved through the night. Plus I have noticed I sleep longer and don't seem to get up in the middle of the night. I cannot praise enough on how this is changing my life. I couldn't be more happier and praise this bed to whomever I can. Thank You so much!!

I was experiencing serious back pain prior to ordering our new Purple Mattress. Since we have been sleeping on it, my back pain is almost none existent. It is very comfortable. Make sure you don't use another mattress cover over the existing one. We made that mistake at first. It doesn't allow for the top layer to perform like designed. But with a simple sheet, it is amazing how well it supports you. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Only downfall I can see. We have an adjustable bed frame. So the mattress isn't as thick as our conventional mattress So The total height is lower than the original. Thre wife doesn't like the look of it But I'm more function over form So it doesn't bother me

So far my joints have not stopped thanking me! I've been sleeping on purple about 3 weeks now. Overall I find the bed very comfortable and very low pressure on my joints. I'm about 6'2" and 140 pounds. I'm a little light-weight for the firmness level of the mattress, but it still has helped my hurt back and legs immensely.

This bed, frame, and pillows are amazing. My husband has had back pain for years and since sleeping on our purple his pain has decreased. Also, for myself, I had been waking up with shoulder and neck pain from our previous memory foam mattress. Since sleeping on our purple I wake up pain free. ( my hubby is 40 and I am 34) The bed and pillows has a slight smell- but it went away quick. Also, the frame is noise free- doesn't make a sound! Love it all and so glad I found purple!!!!

It was great at first... we got the Original Purple Mattress and the pillows, sheets, protector, AND the bed frame. Because we wanted to make sure we'd get the most out of the mattress and do everything right for comfort, It was really nice the first few months. And I couldn't wait to get into bed. But after about 6 or so months, it started to get uncomfortable. But we didn't really connect our pain to the mattress. After a year it was pretty bad. After 2 years, it was a nightmare. But we didn't have the money to get another mattress after dropping 2,000 on all the Purple stuff. So it's been 3 and half years and I am in so much pain. I haven't felt well rested in 2 years now. I'm 25 years old and my 76 year old grandpa outlasted me at golf this week. I was waddling like a duck and struggled to get out of bed the following morning. Again, I JUST TURNED 25! I shouldn't be having back pain like this. Back, shoulder, neck, hip... it all hurts. There's just been so many issues with the mattress. 1. My 80 pound dog can't even clay down with out bouncing me awake. So imagine what happens when my boyfriend or I change positions? 2. There's a massive indent where I sleep. I'm not a very big person. I gained weight in the last year and a half, but for the majority of the time we had the mattress I only weighed 125 pounds! But it's not deeper than 1 inch while the mattress is sitting on the floor. So not covered under warranty. 3. It does not conform to my body. There's a major gab between my lower back and the mattress. They asked me to use a stack of heavy hard back books to see if they sank into the mattress. Well of course they sink! I sink! The issue is it just sinks everywhere! So again, not covered under warranty they said. 4. It's HOT! My mattress protector is freaking dark grey from being discolored from night sweats. I keep the bedroom at 68° or colder... and I still wake up with the sheets stuck all over my body. I have to fight to get out of the dang sheets. 5. It's so loud. The mattress itself makes a noise when you get up from it. It's awful and loud enough to wake my boyfriend or I up. And finally, I tried sharing my experience in the Facebook comments and now I'm blocked from commenting on Purples posts and my negative comments were removed. So that's super shady... I wouldn't be surprised if they don't even post this review... I tried resolving this over a year ago by trying to call in the warranty and was told I'm just SOL... refer to numbers 2 and 3 above. And in case they try a canned response of "the frame matters!" I WAS USING YOUR FRAME, Purple. Your frame. I'm just so annoyed... and in pain.

My husband and I have been sleeping with what we thought was a comfortable Tempur-pedic Mattress for the last 12 years, but it was time for a new mattress. The quirky Purple Mattress commercials initially sparked my interest in Purple Mattress, and then I explored further into the science of hyper-elastic polymers and the reported advantages that Purple Mattress offers. After watching several videos, I took the leap and ordered a new mattress and a purple pillow. My report: Smell - slight chemically smell that my husband dislikes, but far less than the Tempur-pedic mattress we bought 12 years ago. I haven't found this problematic, but we have been allowing air to circulate in the bedroom to further outgas the bed. Sleep Temperature: The Purple mattress definitely sleeps cooler than a Tempur-pedic mattress, a feature I quite enjoy as I tend to be a hot sleeper. Firmness and Support: The level 3 Purple is supposed to be the "middle" firmness and it definitely feels firmer than the "medium" firmness offered by the Tempur-pedic mattress. My husband describes it as sleeping on firm Jello. I find that the mattress conforms to the contour of my side sleeping profile without uncomfortable pressure points. The Tempurpedic mattress, tended to slump into a big hole and you sometimes felt trapped. Overall, much better support and relief from pressure points but it will take some getting used to in order to adjust to the firmness. Weight: Both the mattress and the pillow are quite heavy; particularly the pillow. It is of a weight that discourages you from moving it throughout the night. On the other hand, it gives me much better neck comfort so I do not need to adjust its position often. Final Review: Overall, I consider the Purple Mattress to be a significant upgrade and is by far, the most comfortable mattress that I have owned.

Even though I ordered the exact mattress as our friends ours was nothing like theirs. They got a very firm mattress and ours was very soft and mushy. It had no firmness at all to it. We slept on it for a total of 5 nights and absolutely could not take it another night. We gave it away. We truly hated it.
