The Purple mattress has helped my back problems tremendously! No more waking up in pain. I will definitely stick with Purple in the future. I was only disappointed that about 2 weeks after I purchased my mattress they offered a free pillow with purchase instead of a seat cushion I received that I will never use.

It's always been my dream to have a really high quality mattress to sleep on. The Purple mattress was the perfect choice! It is the best of both worlds between a hard and soft mattress: the mattress is firm to support my back, but the hyper elastic polymer material is perfect for allowing your shoulders and hips to be comfortable! 5/5 would definitely recommend!

I don't usually write reviews but sine reading the Purple reviews was a BIG prerequisite to me making this purchase, I wanted to offer my opinion to others in a similar situation. I've dealt with back problems for more than 20 years. I've owned both sleep # and memory foam beds and didn't like either of them. The Purple 3 has been great so far. I was able to try the different matresses at a Matress Firm location near my home before purchasing. The original Purple and Purple 2 were both too hard and the Purple 4 was too soft. But the Purple 3 was just right. Given all of my back problems I will likely never be pain free, but this bed has me waking up each morning feeling better than I have on all of the other matresses I've owned. If you're skeptical, look for a place to try the matress and you'll be sold! Hopefully the bed will stand the test of time and feel just as good 5 year's from now.

Going to bed early is a treat because this mattress is so comfortable! I'm a side sleeper and my shoulders used to fall asleep but not with our new Purple mattress. My husband is a "hot sleeper" but this mattress keeps him cool all night. Totally happy!

The online ad campaign caught my eye, and I ordered... and crossed my fingers. The mattress, sheets and frame system has changed my sleeping habits- drastically! I sleep better and longer, and my regular morning back pain was gone the first morning- and never returned. My wife LOVES the bed too. Thanks, science-- and thanks Purple!

I bought the base, the king, and the mattress protector. I still haven't gotten the protector as it has been back ordered or something. I made my kid start sleeping in pull ups again over that...just in case! Over all I like the bed. But I don't love it like I hoped I would. It's better than my old bed, but it's not a tempurpedic. I went with purple over tempur because I was afraid I would get to hot. I do sleep better than before. The things I don't love are that if you put a lot of pressure in one spot, like sitting down quickly, you can almost feel the frame. And I don't like that the purple stuff is so close to the surface, it makes it feel like theres an egg crate on the bed when you run your hand over it. It is what it is. Some handles on the side would also assist with moving it which sucks. I will be sleeping on it for a while, but not necessarily recommending to everyone I know.

When we first got the purple, I was excited. It was so pretty! After sleeping on it the first night and waking up the next day in pain, I wasn't so excited, but made the assumption by body was just adjusting to a new mattress. Boy was I wrong! 125 days later, I have never experienced so much back pain in my life. The indention in the mattress where I sleep is appalling. I can lay in the middle of the bed and literally roll into my "sleeping hole". I'm lying in bed now with piercing pain in my lower back. I'm currently working with the warranty department, and I'm hopeful I just received a defective mattress, but if not, if this is what this bed is really like, I would never recommend it to anyone and would highly discourage anyone from purchasing it.

The foundation is sturdy, and the mattress and pillows are very comfortable. I've had the pillow for almost a year now and it hasn't gone flat, not even a little bit. I toss and turn quite a bit, and with the Purple mattress, it no longer wakes up my wife. Very satisfied.

I am 68 years old, weigh 195 lbs. and have degenerative lower back discs. The purple mattress is sleeping well so far. The biggest plus so far is the way my lower back is supported. I can prop on pillows and read or watch tv without a need to put support at my lower back as would be necessary with my old mattress. Setup wasn't much of a chore as I used a hand truck to get the mattress to the bed and lowered it down into place and followed instructions to unroll it into place. Watch which side is going up as you unroll it. There wasn't any significant odor and we slept on it that night. My wife is liking it as well. It's not summer yet but I haven't noticed the mattress being hot or causing sweating.

I tried one of these mattresses a while ago and could not wait to get one. This is my 3rd week sleeping on this mattress and it is incredible! I am not as sore and stiff when I wake up. My memory foam mattress topper gave me such issues with stiff joints and my back but the purple has changed that! Thank you purple mattress for helping me get better sleep!
