So far, it has been a most comfortable bed, much better than the all foam ones I was used to. My back already feels better in the morning, I used to wake up sore. My only issue is I sat at home all day on two separate days when it said my bed was supposed to arrive, both times it changed from "Arriving" to "Pending" and then no other information was given. Finally it arrived, 10 days after leaving on a random day. Glad I was able to get someone to go by and put it in my house

Overall this is an amazing product. It truly improves your sleep. I've had 3 family members and myself sleep on it for at least 1 night and everyone agrees they had a great night sleep. A few days after my bed purchase I ordered a seat cushion, which is also an amazing product that reduces my back pain on 3+ hr drives, only to find out that the next day I could have got a free seat cushion with my bed purchase. Overall I would have been a 5 star review if it weren't for feeling I over paid for a seat cushion I could have received along with my bed purchase.

After over 20 something years of sleeping on mattresses that didn't have support, the first night on this mattress felt like a dream. No pressure points on my hips which I normally get with my old mattresses. However when I woke up, I had this killer neck and shoulder pain. It carried on for about a week so I caved and bought a temperpedic side to side support pillow. It relieved the pain and I was left with a dull ache for another week. But on the 3rd week, my neck and shoulder pain was gone and now I feel great. I guess my body was over compensating for the 20 something years of lack of support so now my body had to readjust to a supportive mattress.

We are very happy with our new King Purple Mattress!! My husband moves a lot throughout the night and with this mattress I never know when he's twisting or turning! I also wake up with zero aches in any of my pressure points (I'm a side-sleeper)! The only downside to the mattress is it's weight. I like to rotate my mattress every 6 months for even distribution of weight, and I'm not looking forward to it a few months down the road! It was difficult even for my husband and I to open and set up the mattress, so I can only imagine that rotating it will be just the same!

So my wife and I have been sleeping on the Purple mattress for close to a month now. Our last mattress was 7.5 years old but it's been a real problem for a while now and it got to the point where I would sleep all night and wake up feeling like I slept a fraction of what I did. She was complaining of restless sleep and a painful knee from how she slept which she would use a pillow to help comfort her knees. Knowing how moving to a new mattress could take time for our bodies to adjust and fully expecting a rough start because of just HOW bad our previous mattress was I was prepared for the full trial Purple was offering. From the first nights sleep the change was immediate - my energy was up and I felt good. Confuzzeled why it was so smooth I went through a few more nights waiting for that harsh adjustment period. After each night not only did I feel so well rested but any numbness or pain I had previously from the last mattress after waking up was also gone. Almost a month later and neither one of us ever had to deal with any adjustment, it has just been amazing since the very first day. I feel fortunate because I know it's something to be expected so I think we got lucky. I can't tell you how great it is waking up EVERY day feeling well rested. I was seriously at my wits end and honestly didn't want to deal with traditional mattresses anymore. I've been researching these new range of online mattress retailers for probably 2 years now. It always came down to Purple being my pick because it just seemed unique and best fit our needs. We wanted something soft but firm but also supportive and that's absolutely what we got. I hear great things about the competitors too and many people are happy with those but the idea of that Purple layer seemed brilliant and unmatched. I was a tad weary of how it would feel but you honestly can't even tell that special grid like gel is even there. Since it's built inside It feels just like regular soft cloth material. It really does feel like it cradles all your pressure points and I really do agree that it's a firm mattress yet also soft where it counts. As for it keeping you cool it absolutely does. Even during this hot summer and humid nights, when we were a bit hot laying in bed, it never felt so on the bed itself. It helps you cool off much faster since the side you're laying on isn't absorbing the heat. Besides sleeping, reading has also been a pleasure as we don't constantly feel like we are sliding down as we struggle to sit up. Everything has just been better on the Purple. My wife has been thrilled herself and it didn't take long for her to say 'we're keeping it' either. I hope it holds up for a long time but the 10 year warranty does leave us feeling very confident. Couple of things to add - people mentioned a smell and there was indeed a very slight odor but only for about a week and it was gone. It was never anything THAT strong or even bad at all so don't let that deter you. Some people over exaggerate. Compared to our previous mattress which was a (King) pillow top, this thing seems like half the height which was initially a concern. Turns out we love being lower to the ground but it's something to keep in mind. Because of the height of our bed furniture though we couldn't use a box spring previously as it would have been WAY too high, so we had bought bunky boards which are near solid flat foundations. Turns out this is exactly what we needed for the Purple anyway so we also didn't have to purchase anything new for support. Now this is important - I see on Facebook people have complained about the mattress sinking in only to see later they all said they are using box springs which the Purple site specifically states NOT to use. I would recommend doing ALL research before trying out any of these online mattresses to ensure a smooth trial. All this info is on the site.

I suffer from severe back pain. I've had a sleeping disorder for the last 25 years. I have woke up in more pain every night until we bought the purple mattress I have woke up with no pain at all. I have been in serious pain at night. I had painful spasms from foot to hip -sometimes in both legs at the same time and I was always moving my legs trying to make the hurt go away. I could only sleep on my left side. My shoulder and my hip were always sore and I would often wake myself up moaning. I have very bad degenerative discs...cervical to sacral with a lot of instability. I had to turn over carefully so as not to trigger a spasm in my legs. After a night of interrupted, painful and dreamless sleep I would go to get out of bed and was barely able to stand on my left foot or straighten up my body. I would hobble like a hunch back to get my meds and then sit in the only chair that was comfortable until I was able to unwind my body to get ready for work. I take daily meds for the inflammation and a stronger med for pain when needed. I felt very OLD and was seriously doubting my ability to keep working the few more years until retirement age. Then I bought my Purple mattress. I have had my mattress two weeks. I knew from the first night of restful, pain-free sleep followed by a morning of actually getting out of bed standing upright and walking without limping that Purple was the best thing I have done to control my pain. I have not had to take the stronger pain meds since I bought the mattress. I sleep without pain, without interruption and with pleasant dreams. I highly recommend Purple to everyone. It is too bad that there isn't somewhere people could go and try a Purple out... like a Purple hotel! Thank you Purple for the best pain-free sleep I have ever had.

I was using Temper-Pedic for 10yrx without issue. One day, suddenly I got a back pain, been having 6-12months. Switched bed couple times but still not working until come cross from a friend, so me and husband decided to check out in display room... and we ordered it. Now I am in heaven!!! This mattress is amazingly good that magically solved my back pain. Plus, the purple pillow is super good too.... nothing more to say you just need to try it but of course it may not fit everyone but works perfectly for me. I am a side sleeper with occasionally back sleeper...

My wife and I ordered a King Sized Purple bed and platform with accompanying sheets, pillows, mattress protector, and a duvet. It was worth every single penny and I definitely look forward to buying more Purple products in the future. I recently began to have some pains in my neck and my back and since buying the Purple bed we both wake up rested and I don't experience the same kind of pain anymore. Two thumbs way up for Purple.
