I have had the king size Purple mattress for almost 18 MONTHS now. I gave myself plenty of time to adjust to this mattress, break it in, as well as started living a healthy and active lifestyle. Since day one this mattress has been a nightmare. Right off the bat, I was really sore sleeping on this mattress every night ( I'm 26 years old, 5'9 and not overweight ). I toss and turn, wake up with sore and numb parts of my body (arms, shoulders, hands, back). Obviously after buying a brand new mattress I did not want to turn around and buy another, so I bought the Purple Sheets after being told those may help. The sheets are extremely soft, and comfortable, but 1/10 durability, as they will rip and tear the first wash ( have had multiple sets and all have done this ). All in all, this is a terrible mattress. It leaves me sore everyday, toss and turn all night, I wake up with back pain that dissipates shortly after getting up (since owning this mattress). Do yourself a favor and save the money and invest it towards a mattress that is going to give you that true rest and recovery you're seeking.

I have the original purple. I have to say it is very comfortable for sleeping on your back, on my side is a different story. I feel that it is too firm once it's compressed on your side especially by your ribs. I wish it was a little more softer once you're in your side. It does not sleep hot and has a good response when turning. I miscalculated the return date by 3 days, but they wouldn't honor the return. So now I just deal with it. So not completely pain free, but still an improvement.

I purchased the purple mattress after owning the harmony purple pillow because I loved it. When it came time to buy a mattress, I thought I'd give it a shot and only ordered the purple mattress and the foundation. I was disappointed because it wasn't what I expected. When you first get on it, as you make your way to the middle, you feel yourself going through the whole thing, all the way to the foundation boards. Then you lay down and it becomes a comfortable mattress since your weight is distributed nicely. But don't move or else you'll feel those boards again. Thinking about upgrading to the Hybrid Mattress after the trial period is over but it's definitely more expensive.

It's comfortable yes! I agree that only mattress cover and sheets used should be purple what a difference in comfort and flex for the mattress. On my back it is way wonderful and feels great on the hips; however when sleeping on my side which is my preference I feel like it needs to be a bit softer on my shoulders. I must say this is still a million times better than our last mattress and will purchase again but go with a purple 3

My experience with purple and their customer service agents is amazing they listen to you and make things happen! I bought the 4 inch queen size purple mattress and highly recommend it to anyone who has suffered from injuries or is achy from a long days work! The mattress really helps your body relax and remove pressure points you may experience with a spring mattress.

I have the bed for a year and a half now and bought it when I was pregnant. I was very uncomfortable throughout the end of my pregnancy and switched from my 6k temperpedic bed to the purple bed. After the 90 days I could not get comfortable, but thought it was because I was pregnant only, so I kept the bed. After I had my little one and now 1.5 yrs later sleeping on the purple bed, my back still hurts. I can not get comfortable at all. Just when I've rolled around the bed thinking this is the spot, i wake up 20 minutes later to feel like i have been sleeping on concrete. This bed was not for me. No matter how many toppers I use, I still feel like I'm sleeping on a concrete slab. I am a fan of the purple protector sheets though.

I knew it was time for a new mattress but didn't realize just how bad it was. After the speedy delivery of my purple I easily set it up, made the bed and promptly took a nap! I got up after about an hour and was walking down the hall when I realized that my back no longer hurt! Then to my shock I realized that my cranky knee felt great! Wow! It's been a couple of weeks and I wake up every day feeling fabulous! The only problem is that I can't wait to get home and jump back in bed!

After placing my order for the mattress I was skepitical about it but after my first night of sleep I could not believe it. I always sleep on my side and I would toss and tumble all during the night, I would wake up with my body aching so bad that I could not go back to sleep but with this mattress I did not do this it was a miracle to me. I love this mattress and I recommend it to anyone that wants a better nights sleep. I love it and would definitely buy it again. We love our mattress! We originally went with another company and found we were hurting daily. Then watch the commercial on YouTube for Purple and the egg test had me convinced that this was the bed for me. After getting it was so easy to setup and we got a free seat cushion which I use daily for work. I must say the seat cushion is really awesome and has help me a lot with a issue I have with my tailbone. I do wish I could have gotten the pillows to complete the set!
