It truly saddens me to post this as anything but amazing because I had high hopes for this. However, I must leave a review in hopes that I can save someone the money and frustration. After weeks & weeks of research, reading & watching reviews, I had decided on a Purple. For the 1st year & a half it was fantastic. I had previously been experiencing such hip, back & shoulder pain, it would wake me up in the middle of the night gasping for air and in tears. So this mattress, it was a dream. So extremely comfortable and literally the first night, NO PAIN. Fast forward a year & half later, i'm in the same pain. I try laying on my back, laying on my side & even my stomach which I can't stand doing. Oddly while the mattress itself is still comfortable to the feel, as soon as I lay down, instant pain. Then I wake up in such excruciating pain every morning & can't shake it during the day. It is currently 10PM & my hips are still aching. I've now resorted to sleeping on the couch lately, which of course had not been pleasant on my marriage. However, now my husband is in extreme pain daily as well. I am well beyond my 100 days so there is no returning. It makes me so sad that after all the hype, hopes & money, this was only temporary.

I sit slot for my job so I ordered the cushion hoping it would alleviate some back pain. I sit on a tall chair and have to hop up and down a lot. The edges of the cushion want to roll down and bunch up. I would have liked it better if there was a soft layer around the rubber inside the cover. Pricey. Not terrible, just kind of disappointing.

I have purchased two mattresses in recent months. The first is a Leesa and the second is a Purple. Both were highly reviewed and comparable in price (Purple was slightly more). I find the Leese slightly more comfortable. I find the Purple a little cooler to sleep on. Both provide a comfortable sleep. I do have a suggestion that I believe is important. I live by myself. Moving items - large items - is a challenge. The Leesa arrive in a box with handles about 1/3 of the way down the box (similar to a clothes pac moving box). While it is heavy, it is possible for a single person to place their hands in the holes (handles and carry the box to the desired location to unpack). The Purple mattress package has two handles near the end of each of a plastic tube. It is impossible to lift the king mattress by a single individual by grabbing the handles because you can't get enough leverage on it. it requires two people to move it otherwise you drag it (which is what I did). This may seem like a minor thing, but it was an unpleasant experience and I felt like I was "fighting" the mattress to get it into a downstairs bedroom. More importantly, this is the first experience with the mattress. I enjoy the mattress and would recommend it to someone else, but I would strongly encourage you to rethink the package and think about from the perspective of a single homeowner.

We've been sleeping on our new mattress for almost two weeks and we like it very much. It's very cool (I'm talking temperature), which is huge difference from the memory foam mattress we used to have. My limbs don't fall asleep no matter what position I am in, so I like that. I have back trouble and I no longer feel like it is made worse by my bed! It was very easy to set up (though we could have used help carrying it).

Previously I was sweating it out in the Texas heat on a form conforming mattress. I couldn't sleep on my side and I would wake up suddenly because of poor circulation to one of my arms. I am a natural side sleeper. And none of the foam mattresses were going to get me there. Since the purple has come to roost in our home, I sleep more deeply, when I wake up (due to my light sleeper tendencies) I can return to deep sleep immediately. I am not trapped in a pool of my own sweat. I fall asleep in any unearthly position with no apparent issues. If anything the bed masks my poor body structure to the point that leaving it reminds me that entropy is hard at work. I would live in this bed if I could. Without going into a bunch of boring detail... I have dealt with neck and shoulder pain for the last 10 - 12 years! Spent a whole lot of $$$$ on doctors and PT. After 1 month on my new purple mattress - the chronic stiff neck and discomfort is 80% gone... It is so fantastic to sleep again all night!!! I tell everyone about it! Genius !!!

Don't know how to sound anything less than 100% satisfied with this product! Great price, easy delivery, easy to install (minor time to decompress foam), no odor, and of course many great nights of sleep. So far so good! The only test left now is longevity.

I'm back / stomach sleeper as my girlfriend is a side/stomach. She has a hard time still getting comfortable she says its to firm for her, and as for me yes it is a little firm but I wake up with no backpains. But we just got the mattress 2 weeks ago so it could be that we need to get used to it.

Amazing product! Hands down the comfiest bed I have slept on. weight transfer is almost non existent which is good since my Girlfriend flails around in her sleep. Although the one thing I will say is that it takes a while to get the mattress when they are out of stock and careful with the choice of bed sheets as it does take away from the comfort. Currently have some stiff sheets on = stiffer mattress duh. But overall; awesome product and money well spent. Thanks Purple! p.s Send some mattress protectors will ya! =p

My daughter bought a purple mattress. She loves it. So when it came time for us to buy a new mattress we looked at them and ended up buying one too. We have since purchased two more and the purple pillow. It is great to wake up refreshed instead of aching.
