I thought this bed would help my discomfort I was experiencing from a hard bed so I tried this out and needed something that would support me but also be soft and comfortable. I tried this bed for 40 days and thought the longer I sleep in it the more I would adjust to it. I finally realized after stretching and strengthen my back from the gym I felt better then when I went to sleep the next morning I was in more pain and I couldn't move easily so u knew I couldn't keep sleeping in this bed. I really thought I was going to stick with this it's too bad. I'm glad I tried it though

The purple pillow CANNOTt be made any better, used to wake up with headaches and occasional neck pain but NOT anymore. No more searching for the right pillow, I have found it.Love the air bladder ,but a quick tip, you don't need as much air as you think.Love it, would give it 10 stars if I could.

My husband and I are enjoying our purchase of our Original Purple Mattress very much. Unfortunately, we waited too long to buy a new matress. Our Purple mattress is very comfortable, and the fact that it is adjustable is a real plus. I am waking up with a lot less body aches and pains. My husband broke his hip several years ago, is a side sleeper, and used to wake up in a lot of pain in that hip. He claims that with this new matress, he has fewer episodes with that. Our ages are 61 and 55. Our son was recently married and he bought a Purple mattress and he said he and his wife have never slept better! So we went ahead and took the basically NO RISK opportunity to buy, and we're going to keep it! It is well worth the money! We went to investigate Sleep Number and we felt the pricing was outrageous compared to Purple prices, so we said WHY NOT!? We are not sorry.

While I love my Purple mattress, and am glad the company does a payment plan, I wouldn't say you must get this. Considering the price, I'm sure if you want a rather soft bed, there are likely cheaper products out there. So, really, unless you just have the money to spend, you might be better off with something more afforadable.

I'm a family doctor in my 30's, and recently ordered a purple mattress for my wife and myself. Typically I do not write reviews for purchases I have made, but I really would like this company to succeed as I have been very impressed with the mattress and delivery/ordering experience. After only a few nights on the new mattress, I started waking up feeling more refreshed and with much less back stiffness. I have also been impressed with how cool the mattress keeps you at night. Previously I was sleeping on a memory foam mattress, and would always wake up at night overheated. The mattress is more firm than I imagined, but surprisingly does not create any pressure points, which I found was ideal as a side and stomach sleeper. My wife sleeps on her back, and she also has also been just as impressed as I have been. I have recommended Purple to several colleagues and patients since getting one of my own and they have been just as happy. Good luck to the Purple team. Thanks for making such a great product!

I love my new bed have had it for almost 2 months but barely used it since I was expecting a new bed frame. This bed is life changing the first night I experienced no back pain and was so comfortable. My boyfriend also loves this bed he slept throughout the whole night and did not wake up once. Definitely would recommend this mattress.

It started in the autumn of 2016, when I realized my ever loyal pillowtop mattress had at last succomed to sag. Sigh After of hours, then days of research...seeking out non-profit review sites, you tube videos and reading/watching until my eyes crossed. I took the plunge and order both a queen size Purple Matress and the No Squeek metal frame. The mattress arrived first. As warned, it was indeed a heavy bundle. However, once unboxed , my 25 year old son easily ran it up our stairs using the straps on its amazing packaging*. Once upstairs, using the included "freedom device" I was able to open it up and get it situated all by myself. My husband, miniature poodle and I joyfully collapsed on it that night and became loyal spokespersons within days. All three of us fall asleep and stay sleep as we never have before. Best of all we have no aches and pains of any kind. Bliss! A few days later, the frame arrived. I easily got it up the stairs and put together before anyone got home. And they're right, there's no squeaks or wiggles at all. It feels incredibly solid and it's about as high off the ground as the top of my old mattress was with a box spring underneath, so there's plenty of storage room underneath. And I mean real storage boxes, not those silly 4" inch high under bed boxes I use to have. After a couple weeks of singing it's phrases and having every visitor "lay down on it for just a couple minutes", a half dozen friends and family placed their orders as well! Soon we ordered the sheets and pre-ordered the pillows as well. The sheets are delightful, so soft and very stretchy. Yet, somehow they dont feel overwarm as you might expect, nor are they cold. Truly magical. Our pillows arrived yesterday. Suffering from acid reflux as well as neck and back issues, I think we've tried ever pillow out there. None have totally fit the bill...until now. The inflatable bladder makes my pillow just the right height to avoid reflux and sans bladder is perfect for my hubbies aches and pains. Another superior product. So happy are we, that were now getting the cushion so that my hubbies bony chimney will sit comfortably at last. At friends requests, I've been giving bi-weekeekly up dates regarding our comfort and satisfaction, so I imagine we've helped sell another have dozen in 2017. Have no hesitation. The Purple products and company are top notch. You can't possibly do better. *No one speaks of product packaging, but I feel I must in this case. Both the mattress and the pillows come in super thick clear plastic bags with sturdy zippers and superstrong purple webbing carry straps. The mattress is followed up like a sleeping bag. The product is easily removed and these bags are and will be in use for a long time. I am not exaggerating when I say that I would happily purchase additional ones for travel and storage. Even the sheets come in a super thick, magnetically sealed carton, that I'm already using to store dog toys and leashes. There is little to no waste with this company.

I have been searching for the perfect mattress for decades. At first I was skeptical ordering a mattress online without trying it first but the 100 day trial was a great selling point. The first night I liked it and still had to get used to it as my old sheets were way too big for this mattress. I decided to order the purple sheets and mattress cover. Wow! What a difference! It really did make the bed so much more comfortable. Not only is this mattress one of the best for my side sleeping and back sleeping, but I wake up with no more pain!!! I didn't believe it until I tried it for myself. I've had this mattress for over a month and it has relieved my lower back pain and all other aches and pains. I am happy I decided to order the sheets. I think I will order another color soon because they are so comfortable. I've been telling everyone I know about this mattress and convincing them that this will alleviate their aches and pains. I put this mattress over my old mattress which works for now until I can get me a box spring. I also have a good sturdy bed frame so the bed is rather high which I love. So far, this mattress is exactly what I need to get a great night sleep. I just hope it lasts for years to come!!!

I've had this mattress for a few weeks now and I must say that I have not slept better day in and out ever before. Going to bed has never been more comfortable for me as it is now. I cannot recommend more. Also, get the sheets; they are amazing! :) Thank you Purple, Anthony

For years I have had post-injury back issues. One thing that would occur would be tons of cracking and popping in my back and hips when I got out of bed. My mornings are quiet now! My back is no longer stud when I wake up, and my arms no longer fall asleep during the night! No more sharp hip pains from sleeping on my side so much, and seriously just the best sleep I've ever had! Thank you! I only wish this didn't make travel seem so bad now-I dread not sleeping on MY bed!
