We bought two of the twin mattresses for a split king setup. Unfortunately our frame let them slide too much and we would always have a gap in the middle so we switched to a single king. However Purple did a redesign of the original mattresses to have a firmer edge support (which was needed and the problem for our twins) but by doing so the whole mattress is now significantly firmer. We ended up returning it and now purchased the premier 3 inch version because the mattress is amazing. I just wish we could have gotten the king in the original formula. Love purple and their customer service is crazy good. The return process was super painless. Our customer service experience is the main reason we are going to end up spending way more than we originally planned because we were so impressed with the purple company. Will leave a review once for new mattress once we get it to offset this one. 6 stars for company and customer service, but bed was really bad for us so stars reflect that, fwiw

The mattress I received had a defect. There were multiple areas that were sunk in, as if the "purple" material did not expand after opening. The mattress protector is a great product which I will keep. The service was great and the experience was hassle free.

Well..it has taken me a while to adapt to the mattress, I still feel that it is a little hard , not soft like I was hoping, maybe the purple 3 and purple 4 are softer, but the Original is not for sure. I must say that I do feel how icreates the shape around my body like all the videos. The videos was a great job from you guys, that was the reason why I decided to buy your mattress instead of another one. If you could send me a pillow as a sample I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I love my new mattress, not the twin I bought on line but I love the mattress I bought from the store. I had a temperpedic for years and woke up every morning with a backache every morning. Now I wake up pain free, I'm so thankful for purple mattress.

My brain liked the idea of PURPLE more than my back liked the reality of the mattress. As for the pillow it's okay. The sheets are nice, but the upper one stretching leads to it getting tangled around my legs Overall I wish I never bought any of them.

I have been using my Purple mattress for a few months now, and it has nearly eliminated my back pain. When you first lay down on it, it feels like a cloud, but it actually has support. I have already recommended it to many people I know, and I will be buying another one the next time I need a mattress.

I always thought of myself as the "fluffy sink deep into your bed" kind of person... until as I got older I was having more and more issues with getting and staying comfortable. I had this super pillow top mumbojumbo thinking it was the fix to my problems and it only made it worse So when the time came, I threw it out and went with purple, and I wish I had made the switch years sooner! This bed is so comfortable In whatever position I am laying in, it supports every part of me, and I sleep so much cooler! I am not waking up sweating every night and thrashing around under the covers. Plus... the sheets are HEAVENLY!!! I can't even put into words so I'm not going to try... Overall, this bed is far and beyond the best investment I have ever made, and I really do not know how I went my whole life without this mattress. Stop second guessing, and get this mattress!!!

I cannot recommend this product enough... My wife and I have slept on a Sleep Number bed for 13 years. I have had back pain for years thinking it was from working as an electrician. Nope...it was the bed. After a co-worker told me about Purple I purchased the Queen. After only one night my back pain was reduced by about 70 percent and now 3 weeks in...almost completely gone!!! I am a side sleeper and my wife a back sleeper. She is just as happy!!! Thanks Purple!!!

I was sold on the magic of the Purple mattress from the almost 5 minute commercial featured on the website. I was, maybe unreasonably, expecting to fall asleep within minutes of lying down because I thought it was going to be immensely comfortable. As far as comfort, it is ok. It feels like a typical, firm memory-foam mattress. My wife says she can feel it providing better back support for her but I'm not sure I do. I especially don't feel it on my sides like Purple advertises. I will admit that I am a heavy person at 270 pounds, but the website, at the time of purchase anyway, said that it supported up to 300 pounds for each person (those more expanded details don't seem to be there now). As such, it has started to cave in on my side and there is a clear difference between the right side and the middle. This is only getting 2-stars because my wife says it supports her back better than our previous mattress, otherwise it would be 1-start.

The first two nights were definitely a different sleep experience a little on the hard side but waking up with no back pain blew my mind and is making my days 1000× better! I'm now excited to climb into bed every night and rave to all my buddy's about how life changing this mattress has been for me. Give this mattress a chance, you won't be sorry.
