I'm not happy with this mattress and will request a replacement. I'm about 175 pounds, 5'10" with wide shoulders, and the mattress simply isn't soft enough for me to sleep on my side. I wake up with sore shoulders in the middle of the night, and on a few nights I woke up out of the pain I felt. That being said, the mattress seem to be of good quality and supports me well. The shopping experience was good, delivered in the expected time. However, the website had outdated information regarding showrooms. I tried to visit two showrooms in the Seattle area (Northgate and Uni Village), both listed on the website, but both were closed. Besides making me lose time going to those places and wandering around after something that was permanently closed, I could have saved me a lot of headache and bad nights if I could just try the mattress before purchasing.

Honestly love this mattress. I use to power lift and still workout extensively everyday so I am usually sore and often have back issues; my old pillow top wasn't cutting it. I could never get comfortable resulting in me tossing and turning all night. A couple of guys at the gym recommended the purple matress so I decided to get one and I'm glad I did. I will honestly fall asleep and wake up in the same position and I get a lot more uninterrupted sleep now. They really did a great job. I bought the original queen size, I'm 6'2'' and weigh 225 lbs.

I remember when I was a kid and could sleep comfortably all night long without tossing or turning, without sore shoulders and hips, and actually feel like staying in bed in the morning. It's been a long time since I could do that but now with my Purple mattress I wake up feeling refreshed and actually wanting to stay in my bed just a little bit longer to enjoy the comfort! Thanks for making such a great mattress!

I spent 14 years active duty submarine service, and living that lifestyle put my body in constant pain mostly while at rest. This bed has giving the freedom to sleep in any position I wake up tighter, but not sore. This has been a great bed for the price. I don't mind also say adult activities are comfortable for me and my wife. The temperature of the material is cooler then any other mattress I have experienced.

I purchased the CAL King July 29, 2017 and it feels as though my mattress is already sagging. This mattress is definitely not for curvy side sleepers even though they advertise it releases pressure on the hips and shoulders, and support the neck and back. Since I've gotten the purple bed I've experienced more back pain than I have with any mattress ever purchased. Every morning I awoke with unbearable neck and hip pain which would last day in and day out. Ended up getting a pinched nerve in my neck which had to be treated with a steroid injection. Would not recommend this bed for anyone over 200 pounds.

I was hesitant to buy Purple because my husband and I are each just a little under 300 pounds, and all of the reviews I could find - ALL BY THINNER PEOPLE - said that they wouldn't recommend it for heavier people. How would they know? I did a lot of research and finally decided to give it a try. After all, if it didn't work for us we could always get our money back and try a different brand. Nothing to lose, right? We went all out and got the Purple king-size mattress, platform, pillows, mattress cover, and sheets. It was all here in a week and we love it ALL! We've tried I don't know how many different pillows looking for comfort, and we finally got them. Don't be dissuaded by how heavy they are. They're FABULOUS! And with the boosters you can adjust them to the perfect height for how you sleep. The mattress is so comfortable and supportive for both my husband, who's a stomach/back sleeper, and for me, a side-sleeper. And the mattress protector and sheets? They're luxurious and a perfect fit. There's no bunching up or coming off. I'm ordering another set as soon as I finish this review. LOVE IT ALL!

It is not like sleeping on a cloud, though I doubt you could actually sleep on one. The Purple mattress I could melt into when I just fall onto the bed and my partner do not feel my impact. I recently fell down a flight of stairs and sleeping on this mattress helped with my recovery as I did not toss or turn. I could stay lying on my back and feel the weight evenly distributed. I highly recommended this to others in my family who were having trouble sleeping or resting on their current mattresses.

Purple Positively Perfect (x3) In 2017, after surviving a near life ending motorcycle crash, with 10 rib fractures, 4 fracture vertebras, a broken hand, a shattered shoulder, a broken leg and a broken foot, I could find no comfort on my Simmons Beauty Rest pillow top mattress. On the recommendations of a nurse in the rehab hospital, my wife procured a Sleep Number mattress. There was some improvement over the SBR mattress, but still I had a great deal of difficulty sleeping in comfort; we had to add a 2 inch gel foam heat activated pad to the top to make the SN mattress to move from completely intolerable to hardly bearable (despite multiple adjustment to the "sleep numbers"). After a thoroughly researching mattress options and reviewing on-line independent reviews by users, we chose the Purple mattress. My aching bones and body fell soundly asleep the first night on the Purple mattress. We loved it so much we recommended to my sister and her husband who were suffering from mattress intolerance from their aging, arthritic bones, and found no satisfaction with thier Thermarest mattress. They got a Purple mattress and they too found love on first night. Wife and I recently purchase a motor coach and immediately rediscovered mattress misery on the queen mattress in the coach. First upgrade was a Purple mattress. Wonderful sleep greeted us the first night we pulled out the misery mattress and plopped the Purple mattress down. Wife and I are both the 140 to 160 pound range and find the basic Purple mattress to suit us wonderfully. Our only regret is we had not discovered Purple first when I came out of the hospital from my accident.

I honestly would give it 0 stars because it's so comfortable that I want to snooze my alarm every morning! This bed is a definite game changer. Buying online before trying is always a gamble but the purple mattress has exceeded our expectations so far. I hope it lasts over time. We bought the entire bundle with sheets, protector, and harmony pillows and I think it's worth it to have the entire set.

So glad we bought Purple mattresses for the whole family! We all love them and it's allowed me to switch to sleeping on my back as recommended by my chiropractor, which was never a comfortable position on my old mattress. My husband is a hot sleeper and has had no issues with overheating at night and said it has helped him not wake up with back stiffness. Another great aspect is they're made in America!
