We've been excited about getting a Purple mattress for years shed finally splurged on one. My wife is under 100 and I'm 180. When I'm on the mattress, it's very supportive on any position I sleep in. But my wife hasn't been able to sleep peacefully in it at all. She got some relief when she added a mattress topper but now she's higher in there need then I am. So depending on her much you weigh, you might love it or hate it. Wish Purple could make a dual firmness with a plush option.

if you are at all sensitive to chemical smells this is not the bed for you. I have had the mattress in a room with a fan on and window open for two weeks and i still cant sleep on it. it otherwise seems like a comfy bed. I am hoping that soon the off gassing will end help!

The bed is comfortable but I was a little disappointed in how cool purple claims it to be. I sometimes get too hot and have to sleep without the covers for a bit. I had a Serta prior to this mattress and never got hot at all. It's a 4 star mattress though.

My wife and I tried to sleep on our new purple bed for several weeks. We woke up feeling more in pain every morning. It got to where we couldn't even lay on it to relax for a few minutes. Unfortunately we will have to return the mattress. I'm sure it works well for some people but for us it was too firm and straining on the hips and back.

I travel for work and stay in many Hotels throughout the yr, so i know a little bit about different mattresses. I'm a side sleeper with chronic shoulders and neck pain, I go to chiropractor often. The Purple Mattress after 3 weeks has eliminated my shoulder pain. I do like this mattress, but have one suggestion. I'm a 260 lb fella, the center of the mattress needs to be slightly firmer, slightly. I've recommended to 5-6 friends already, that are looking at mattresses. Liked it being delivered to my door Fed Ex, very convenient and was easy to set up. Oh and, get rid of the fruit in the PURPLE pants lying on the mattress, just disgusting. - GOOD DAY

We really loved the mattress and I can say it's really great for relieving pressure points like heels. But we already have body grooves in it after a year which is sort of a bummer and makes me worry how long it will actually last. Probably will look elsewhere in the next purchase.

Hello, my name is Tim Murphy. My wife and I are Purple customers and have a story to share. Five years ago, we got the original Gen 1 Purple Mattress. Surprised by the purple sausage that came in the mail, we didn't know what to expect. Five years of good sleep later was the answer. While it may seem like everything was going well, eventually the mattress started to have issues with comfort, support, and us falling off the edge at times. I reached out to Customer Support with Purple and from the first person a few weeks ago, to the final phone call I made today to close out the ticket, everything has been like... well... sleeping on a Purple. We knew we had a 10 year warranty. Sometimes companies have issues with those. Not Purple. No Representative argued, found fault, tried to upsell us. Nothing. It was just: Address Tim and Clare's issue, make it right, follow through. What a great way to run a company. The old mattress was replaced with a Gen 3 mattress, which is even better than our Gen 1. The Gen 1 was picked up today free of charge from 1-800-GOTJUNK. No issues there, and the day I requested for the pickup was honored without question. All in all, Clare and I are over the moon on how easy the process was. Most companies, especially in 2020, are in a state of angst or panic it seems. Purple did everything right to make sure we were sleeping well. After all, without good sleep, the waking part of the day becomes just a chore. Finally, I have recommended Purple to quite a few friends and family members. My friend in Maryland got your Hybird mattress and says they love it. My cousin got a Gen 3, along with your pillows. Finally, while my Mom did not get a mattress, she did get some of your sheets and a pillow. We love being part of the Purple family. Great company with great people.

I write this as I lay on my new mattress, flat on my back. I've not laid flat on my back in 20+ years. The chronic pain in my lower back and hips has melted away. I will shout from mountain tops till I'm purple. THIS IS THE BEST MATTRESS ON EARTH. My back thanks you. My hips thank you. I thank you.

I have always had trouble either falling asleep or staying asleep. I've had my Purple mattress for about three weeks now and it has been amazing! I have never slept better. I also used to always wake up with back pain. No more back pain! Thank you Purple Mattress!

This mattress is great! Feels so different then any mattress I have ever owned. I would wake up in the mornings stiff, hurting and tired. Not anymore. Since owning a purple mattress I sleep great and wake up feeling fine. I highly recommend this mattress.
