I'll keep it simple... it will quickly become your favorite mattress and you won't be let down. I get really attached to sleeping items because I am so picky due to my inability to get comfy easily (I've had the same pillow for 14 years, buy the same fabric sheet covers, etc.). The first night this mattress felt like it became my best friend! Super cozy! Get the mattress, what they say about it is all true.

Purple has given me Life again! With our old mattress, I would wake up with such back pain I couldn't even stand, I would have crawl and stretch on the floor till I could get up! Im only 29 and went to the hospital twice in one year due to my back problems! Purple gives my back the support it needs, while also providing soft comfort to fit my husbands preferences. we love it! (Now we can actually snuggle )

I was looking forward to receiving this mattress based on the good reviews I read. I finally got it 3 weeks later. I've been sleeping on it for 1.5 weeks and it's still super firm. It barely has any give in the mattress. This mattress was advertised as being the perfect balance of soft and firm, but it was definitely like sleeping on wood plank.

I researched like a crazy man before committing to a mattress purchase. I have a history of back pain and terrible sleep. I read about the break in period, but I didn't want to believe that would be the case for me. After 9 years on a cheap mattress, it took me about 2 weeks to adjust to the purple mattress. Now that I've adjusted, I can't believe how incredible I feel and how good my sleep is! My Fitbit tracks my sleep and there is a major difference in my quality of sleep. The only thing I don't like (sarcasm) is that I fall asleep so fast and stay asleep that I don't feel like I really get to enjoy it while I'm awake :). Also, their customer service is top notch. Truly an incredible mattress with the perfect support for me. No more back pain!

I purchased the original queen mattress along with the platform and protective sheet. I originally had a memory foam mattress and i would sleep on my back because i have a CPAP machine, and i would wake up in the middle of the night and go on my recliner because my back would hurt really bad. Also once i got into bed my right leg would start to tingle, sleeping on my side was not an option because my arm would go numb. My wife also suffered with morning back pain and numbness. Once we received our purple mattress all of the pain and numbness went away we love the bed its the most comfortable bed he have had. Only thing different is i would have went with the thicker version.

My wife loves this mattress, me not so much. If I am in this bed for more than 6 hours, I wake with a very pain filled back. I was told that you need a few months to adjust to the bed and I have given that but it hasn't changed. My wife tries to blame my pillows but I didn't have this problem with my pillow top bed. Now since I am over the 100 days, I cannot return it and even if I could, how can I tell my wife she needs to be less comfortable since, as I said, she loves it. I also have the frame which is quieter than most but does squeak even though it is claimed it doesn't and the mattress slides off it at inopportune times. Since some enjoy and some don't, I would suggest you make sure you try it out for about 2 months and if not happy, return it immediately. I also suggest waiting to by the frame until you are 100% sure you are keeping the mattress since you can't return the frame.

So far the bed is good. I am having to get use to somethings about it.... The bed works best with my body when I lay either straight on my back or stomach.. Which is hard because I am use to sleeping in my side, and when I sleep on my side on this bed I wake up super sore. But when sleeping on my back or stomach I sleep amazing. So just have to change my sleeping habits.

We loved our purple. We had an adjustment period, but it wasn't long. Loved it for a while. Less than a year and I already had a slight "trench" that I kept slipping into. I put an anti-sag piece under from our last mattress and now I'm wonderful again. Just didn't know how it happened so quickly and very noticeable. We will talk to the company if the anti sag stops working. I am hoping as I lose more and more weight, that this will be better. Also maybe a little of the box springs, but I don't really think so. Love the coolness feel; I hate to sweat when I sleep.

My husband likes the mattress; however, I hate it. The first problem was when no one at Mattress Firm informed us that we would need the Purple Mattress Protector instead of using our normal mattress pad. The bedding bunches up under you if you don't have the protector and you really can't use your mattress pad. The protector cost about $100 even though it probably cost about $5 to make because it's very thin. The second problem was that my feet were always cold even though I had extra bedding (down) covering my feet. So we bought an electric blanket for another $100. The third problem is that our covers are always shifting one way or another even though this never happened before. It takes me twice as long to make the bed in the morning as it used to because I have to realign the bedding. I also don't like the mattress because it's too soft. I feel like I'm always sleeping in a hole and it takes a lot of effort to turn over. Even though he likes the mattress, my husband agreed that we could return it but now the stores are closed because of Covid-19 and the warranty period will expire before they open back up. Now we are probably stuck with it. My recommendation to anyone thinking about buying this extremely expensive mattress is to think twice because it isn't worth it.

After the first night on the original Purple mattress, I woke up the following morning with NO BACK PAIN for the first time in years! It's now been 3+ weeks since we received our mattress and I'm getting the best sleep I've gotten in years. I'd absolutely recommend Purple to anyone suffering from joint and back pains from their current mattress.
