I loved my waterbed and so did my wife,but she was getting ready to have hip surgery. With the give of the waterbed she wanted a mattress that would give as well as give support. She also wanted the ability to adjust the mattress as in raising the head and knees. So we purchased two twin mattresses. We haven't purchased the adjustable frame yet but we have purchased the bamboo sheets that go so well with the mattresses. Thank you Purple for such a fine product.

I have been searching for this mattress in my dreams and now I have it! This mattress does exactly what they say it does. There are zero pressure points for me anymore! No more waking up with numb limbs for me baby! LOVE LOVE LOVE! also love the super stretchy sheets.. love!

This is a nice mattress and it is firm but it's unfortunately to firm for me. I have been waking up with my arms falling asleep which I was shocked by. I like to sleep on my stomach but also move to my sides through out the night. I wake up at least every hour with this bed trying to get more comfortable. I'm 5'4 female and I weight 118. Maybe it would be better for a heavier person?? It has to much push back on my pressure points . I'm hoping I'll be able to schedule a successful return. It's a great bed just not great for me.

Purple mattress cradles me when I sleep. It's soft but has a firm foundation. I've never slept on a mattress quite like it. It's wonderful! When both my husband and I are sleeping in bed, our movements don't disturb the each other. It's hardly noticeable when one of us gets in or out of bed. Great for a good nights sleep!

After doing much research on finding a new mattress, I stumbled on a commercial for Purple. I watched. I was doubtful on how great the product claimed to be. I had slept on a memory foam bed before only to be woken up many time through out the night trying to roll over and finding myself fighting to get out of my body impression left in the mattress. Again, waking up sore, stiff an miserable. My search continued, but I kept finding myself watching the commercials for Purple. I have read ALL the reviews. Finally after a month of wasted research I purchased Purple. The first night I slept like a baby. I still woke up slightly sore. I think due to my old mattress' effects. However, each morning I would wake up I found myself less and less sore and more and more rested. I can't imagine not having this bed. I am so thankful I stumbled across this commercial. I just wish I had placed the order sooner! If your having doubts about this mattress like I did.....do yourself a favor and just try it out. They give you 100 days to make up your mind. It only took 5 days for me to decide to keep Purple. On another note: Shipping was quicker than expected!! Thank you.

I really had good hopes because of all the positive video and written reviews but this did not live up to the hype. My expectations weren't super high either, especially coming from a really old spring mattress with a groove in it ( wooden bottom). My partner feels the same way. To add to everything I've said and will express with my discontent is that it was SO EXPENSIVE! I got the purple3 because it was supposed to be a happy medium and a little more soft than purple original and purple 1 but I don't feel like it's soft at all... Which is what I was looking for. Yes, I wanted a little firmness but I wanted a soft bed, like advertised. So price and what was advertised on the scale were a bit deceptive. The bed weighs a ton!! I'm a side sleeper who has back problems and I do not get the "cradling " feeling along my shoulder, I sleep pretty much against the wall cause I'm also a hot sleeper and the sheets come out from under the bed so both my partner and I have to try REALLY hard to lift the corner to get the fitted sheet back under. It was reviewed that this bed helps sleep cool which was also super important because of me being a hot sleeper and living in California, did not get that from this mattress. We received a free mattress protector, which was nice but man!!! the first few nights I could not sleep with all the rustling, sounded like we were sleeping on sheets of paper. We went from a Full to a Queen size so we are stuck with this mattress (since we had to buy a new frame, sheets, etc.), so thus concludes my honest opinion/ review. P.S. Like I mentioned, my partner feels the same.

I was sleeping on an 8in foam futon mattress before purple. It was in rough shape; super lumpy, firm, dipped in the middle. Yet, my body had grown accustomed to each odd lump of that cheap, old mattress. After finally pulling the trigger on a mattress upgrade, the purple mattress was at the top of the list. I didn't actually try any other kind. Upon my first lay down on the flexible grid it was a magic, weightlessness while still being firm in the right places. . Like a water bed without the weirdness of feeling like you are on the sea! I'll admit, it took my contorted body a few weeks to get used to the new mattress. I was sore in places I wasn't sore before but I trusted it was for the best and it was simply allowing my body to relax back to the way it was meant to be. Now I sleep deeply, comfortably, and wake without aches. Trust the power of purple!

My over all expirience purchasing my Purple Hybrid Premier 4 was amazing from the second I ordered it to when white glove delivery got it all set up for me. My mattress was delivered within a week of me ordering it and I also received free sheets and the gravity sleep mask. If you're contemplating getting the sheets or not DEFINITELY GET THEM! So soft and stretchy and still cooling. The mattress itself is like sleeping on a cloud while still being supportive and gets rid of my back pain. Lastly, the guys who came for delivery were awesome. Very nice and professional!

We loved the idea of the purple mattress and couldn't wait to try it out. The top layer is good, but the next layer under the purple is just too firm. It's hard to turn over and get positioned and we are waking up several times a night. Sleep has been a struggle and we are going to return the mattress.

I have had back problems for years. Sleep was always interrupted because as I would lay on my side, that hip would become so painful that it would wake me up enough to switch sides. This happened all. night. long. When I would wake up in the morning, I would be stiff and sore for hours. Not a happy experience. Since I have gotten the Purple mattress, sleeping is WONDERFUL! No tossing and turning. Waking up rested and refreshed with no pain or stiffness. I have praised it to all I know. Thank you for the wonderful night's sleep. It is so appreciated!
