After suffering from lower back pain for several years, we finally decided to try a new mattress. I was skeptical that it would help my back, but since I hadn't slept well in quite awhile, and I didn't care for our mattress, I figured I had nothing to lose. The wife, says she loves that there aren't hotspots, works with her curves (my wife isn't "curvy") and she doesn't feel me flopping around when I can't sleep. Me, I'd give it 4 stars. It's a tad firmer than I like and we'd LOVE to see handles to help move it/set it up.

Definitely took a couple days to get used to, but worth the wait! Only problem we faced is that the top layer was stuck together on one side. We had to dig our fingers in and pull to get it unstuck to itself in numerous places. The top piece was also not cut all the way through the squares in some places but it has not effected the comfortablility of the bed.

My Wife and I have been interested in a Purple Mattress for quite some time - Since we saw the commercials and heard friends that picked one up rant and rave about them. We ended up picking one up ourselves and I have to say that we were/are severely disappointed. While the mattress isn't the worst I've ever laid on if I'm being honest, I'd rather sleep on the floor. My Wife has hip issues due to a car accident and the mattress that is supposed to relieve pressure points causes MORE pressure on her hips, and I simply have a harder time falling asleep on it. We're glad we decided to hold onto our previous mattress as once our 21 days are up (just a couple more) we're going to pursue the 100% money back refund, but the 21 days are the minimum you have to sleep on it to "break it in" and I have to say that I'm looking forward to sleeping on my Gel-Top mattress again.

We have been sleeping on the bed for about a month and still love it! It is so comfortable, breathes super well, and doesn't transfer motion. We bought the mattress protector to go with it because we have kids and dogs who all tend to join us at some point in bed, and it works very well. It doesn't make the mattress super hot and protects it very well! So happy we took a leap of faith and decided to go with a mattress we hadn't laid on before. Will continue to purchase purple mattresses in the future for all our beds in our home!

I love the purple 3 mattress. My wife and I needed a new mattress and tried ordering from several different companies. We tried memory foam and hybrid mattresses (5 total before purple), and although they were all ok, none were great. We avoided purple at first because it was about 2x as expensive as the others, but eventually decided to try it as there was no real risk with the return policy. It is simply an amazing mattress...My wife and I can sleep in any position without any pain (I am a stomach sleeper mostly and my wife a side sleeper). It is so comfortable I look forward to bed every night now and don't want to get out of bed in the morning. We also got the purple mattress protector and sheets and they work great with the mattress as well, better than our older cotton sheets. Just love the mattress, can't recommend it enough.

Was dealing with back pain for a while, but ever since getting the Purple mattress a few months ago, my back has improved to the point that I'm back in the gym. I love the good nights sleep that I get. I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing the sheets that go with it. They really make a difference. The bed frame was super easy to put together. I would only change two things, imho.... First, send the order together so the items all come on the same day. I HATE waiting. Second, roll the mattress so that it unrolls on top of the bed frame the right way. Once the mattress is set free from the plastic, it's a MONSTER to try and flip over!!! With that said, on a lighter note... The purple substance that the mattress is made with reminded me of a toy that my kids had several decades ago. It was a ball that had many tentacles dangling from it and they would throw it against the wall. It would stick and slowly "crawl" down the wall. So, I took the sample I received, and threw it against the wall, and it did stick! I thought I recognized it! HA!
