My husband and I are both long-time side sleepers. Even though we both still attempt to sleep on our side, we are finding that the Purple forces us to move to our backs. We both agree that we are quite comfortable while sleeping on our backs, but side sleeping is a hard habit to break, so there is quite a bit of back-and-forth for us throughout the night. That being said, any time either of us wakes for a moment to shift, we are back to sleep in moments. And we both wake feeling pretty amazing after a full-night sleep. We are growing fans of the Purple Mattress and are even considering putting the queen into our guest room and investing in a king-sized Purple Mattress in the near future.

We've been putting off getting a new mattress for the last 18 months. There were just too many choices...it was very intimidating. And my husband and I tend to want different things out of mattress. He was super-firm and I want softer. But my shoulder was causing me so much pain and it was terrible at night, so when we saw Purple's funny and straightforward commercial we said, "Why not try it?". The first few nights were a little weird, but my shoulder started feeling better right away. Being able to sleep through the night again is nothing short of amazing. And here is something else amazing: my mother came to visit and slept on the new Purple mattress. My mother has a terrible time sleeping and hates every mattress she tries that isn't her Sleep Number bed. But... She told me in the morning that she slept really well on the Purple mattress. She liked it! That, my friends, was like some sort of miracle! So I got a new mattress, relief from my chronic shoulder pain AND a compliment from my mother! Well done, Purple, well done.

To start out I have arthritis and it's pretty much in every joint and going to sleep on my old mattress was like sleeping in a bed of nails. Every morning I'd wake up with more pains then I had the night before. Since sleeping on the Purple mattress I feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud, instantly in just one night of sleep I woke up without any pain for the first time in years. And every night is the same, no matter how many aches and pains I get during the day one night of sleep and their gone. I call this my nightly recharge never ever will I buy another mattress I'm a Purple girl forever!

It seems to be a good fit. I will say it was on the expensive side. Also I got the wrong size mattress protector and you made me buy a second and wait for a refund. I think that's bad business. You should have sent me the new one at no charge and waited for the wrong size to come back. As a business you shouldn't make the customer put up extra money when your product is already expensive. That being said we where refunded a few weeks later which would prob not be doable for all customers.

The mattress certainly provides a different experience than most. I would say that it does sleep cooler and allows noticeable airflow beneath you. The purple material definitely crushes at a certain weight, and besides my normal side sleeping I have even found it comfortable to sleep on my back and occasionally on my stomach too!

I was truly hopeful and excited the Purple mattress would deliver on its technological promises and alleviate my neck and shoulder pinched nerve issues but instead, it made them worse. The marketing is great, but obviously every body is different. I even tried the suggestions from the Purple team (stretchy sheets and mattress protector) and those did not work either. Honestly, disappointing.

First night sleeping on this mattress I slept through the entire night without waking and woke up in the same position. Unreal!! I normally toss and turn all night long and have lower back pain that has now completely disappeared! Purple does what it promises. I LOVE my Purple mattress

I got this mattress about a month ago and am very pleased with it so far. I was using a temperpedic that was about 20 years old and had liked it but if this mattress lasts as long as that one did I will be very pleased as this purple mattress is more comfortable than the temperpedic was. I also got the purple pillow and that added greatly to my comfort. I have fibromyalgia along with some other health problems and am now sleeping the best I have in years with the mattress and pillow combination. I absolutely love them both along with the comfy sheets I purchased. I wanted the whole set so I could really test out the purple products and love everything I have got. The mattress protector is not as great as it does seem to warm up the mattress for me and takes away some of the comfort but everything else is GREAT. I hope they last a long time and for the price, they are a great buy. I also got the chair cushion and that is helping me when at my desk plus it doesn't slip around like some other cushions. Keep up the good work of making America comfortable.

When we were looking to replace our 15-yr old mattress, we first tried a really pricey mattress. Buyer's remorse set in pretty quickly. I saw a few random reviews for the Purple, so we decided to give it a try. We've slept soundly every night since then!

I like it softer. My husband likes it firm. He has no complaints. I wake up with my body needing to roll over and get the blood flowing again. I had hoped this would work for us both. We live in two homes so only have slept three nights so far on purple. Husband would give you excellent.
