The Purple mattress has seriously changed my life! I am 24 but have struggled with waking up with neck pain, sciatic back pain, shoulder pain, and lower back stiffness for the last few years. The first time I slept on the Purple mattress I woke up with literally zero pain and it has been the same ever since. I love love love this mattress and cannot recommend it enough! It is unbelievably supportive and relieves pressure points like shoulders, hips, and neck. Everything about it, including how easy it was to set up/unroll and the speed at which it was delivered, should receive 5 stars. I have found my forever mattress...thank you Purple! This has been a life-changer.

I really wanted to be able to give this bed 5 stars. I realize that when you only make one mattress, you have to try to find the firmness sweet spot that suits the most people. Unfortunately, this mattress is just a little too firm for both me (~190lbs) and my wife (~100lbs). The mattress does live up to its claims of no pressure -- it's really great at getting out of the way localized pressure spots like shoulders, hips, etc, but it just doesn't feel like it's cradling the whole body. The feel is much more of sleeping on top of the mattress than settling into it at all. Still, it's pretty comfortable, and definitely stays cool. But it's just not cozy at all. We're about a month into the 100 day trial, and we're going to stick it out for a while longer to see if we adjust to it more. Here's hoping.

I knew my back pain was causing me to miss out on quality sleep; what I didn't know was that the right mattress could eliminate that issue altogether! If someone would have told me to get this Purple and my pain would evaporate and I'd sleep through the whole night - sometimes 9+ hours!-- I would've done it sooner. THANK YOU for this awesome bed!!! It's heaven! =D

I have woken up with back, neck, and shoulder pain every morning for the past several years, but not since sleeping on my Purple mattress. My wife and I knew we needed a new mattress anyway, but I honestly didn't think that buying a Purple would make as big a difference as it has. Not only do I sleep great but I wake up feeling great. Now every time I have friends or family at my house I make them lay on my mattress and they all want one too!!

It took me about a week to get used to this mattress, as the one I replaced was more cushy (pillow tops). It's comfortable enough, and effective for side and back sleepers, but a bit too firm for the stomach. I'm small and light weight and can't help but feel that Purple should design one for lighter people...maybe larger squares in the purple grid. I'm keeping it anyway. It seems very well made and should last a long time. It also sleeps much cooler than my old mattress ( no more waking up in a pool of sweat!). Overall, it's a good purchase. I just think Purple should offer a slightly softer version for the little people.

First time buying a mattress and this one did not disappoint. Did much research with Purple & its competitors and this one just came out on top. Super comfy and unique technology with the grid system. Highly recommended to the point I had somebody made the decision to buy one as well!

Love my purple pillow the most! I feel like if the mattress had a little more give like the pillow I would like it even more, but no complaint, more of like a wish list item. I do feel like we are even more hot though, and trying to figure out why, is it the mattress protector maybe?

Could be a little deeper mattress (about 2-3 inches more) - But does it really need to be so heavy. . . most of us can't move it by ourselves even as a couple. and making it up can even be a challenge. Also can we get the new purple bedding anywhere else?

My husband and I both weigh under 130 each and so I am assuming this is why the mattress feels so stiff. Like one step softer than cement. My husband says he wakes up without aches and pains but I have consistently felt stiffer upon waking. This is definitely not the bed to buy for someone who wants a soft mattress.

After over 20 something years of sleeping on mattresses that didn't have support, the first night on this mattress felt like a dream. No pressure points on my hips which I normally get with my old mattresses. However when I woke up, I had this killer neck and shoulder pain. It carried on for about a week so I caved and bought a temperpedic side to side support pillow. It relieved the pain and I was left with a dull ache for another week. But on the 3rd week, my neck and shoulder pain was gone and now I feel great. I guess my body was over compensating for the 20 something years of lack of support so now my body had to readjust to a supportive mattress.
