I bought this a few months after I bought a Puffy mattress. I put the Puffy on my guest bed when I received the purple one. Now, 2 weeks later, I'm moving the Puffy one back to my primary bed, and I'll keep the purple on for guests. The Puffy one provides noticeably more support.

Was very excited to receive the purple bed after reading reviews and watching customer videos. I am not disappointed! I fall asleep so much faster and don't wake up with hurting shoulders. I have already recommended this to all my friends and have them try it out. One of them has already purchased a purple mattress themselves. There should be a referral program!! Anyway, this bed is definitely worth the buy! Can't wait to try some pillows!

Unfortunately I returned the bed - but it was only because I am in need of a very specific mattress. I thought Purple may have helped but it didn't. Although I returned the mattress - I can say that Purple as a company was outstanding. Everything that was advertised was 100% accurate; from delivery, to set-up, and return policy. I couldn't have had a better experience with the company. I think it's a great mattress, but it just wasn't right for me.

My husband and I previously slept on a TempurPedic bed and the Purple far exceeded our expectations! We were both waking up with aches and pains from our 10 year-old TP and decided it was time to get a new bed. It took a couple nights to get used to Purple, but we are delighted we took a chance and changed brands!! (It really does sleep cooler, as well.) Thanks Purple!

I feel like I've done enough research on mattresses that I should write a book. Unfortunately, after my initial findings, I decided to buy another mattress, hoping to save a few bucks. Although this mattress was decent in many respects, my back pain never left and I could not sleep cool. The Purple mattress seemed to be the only thing that could break the status quo with its unique design, so I went for it. The result: no more back pain and an unrivaled cool sleep. I can finally rest easy knowing I chose the right mattress, literally.

I can't review the mattress yet because it hasn't arrived. Purple has sent us 2 mattresses and none have arrived. They are sending us the third mattress and it should be here Friday. The first mattress was sent out fast. We ordered the king size mattress, the base and got a cushion for free. They all left Purple the same day and the mattress was due to arrive for my husbands birthday 3/19. I was watching the tracking so I could get it and try it out. 3/19 came and went, 3/20 out base and cushion arrived but no mattress. I checked the tracking and it said it was pending. I contacted Purple and the Customer Service person, Hannah was excellent and arranged for a replacement to be sent out. Again a tracking number was sent and I watched for the truck. While waiting I set up the base and waited. Around 6 or 7 I checked the tracking and it said it was delivered. I walked all around the house, looking for it, but nothing. Contacted Purple and they are again sending out another one, this one will have a signature required. Strange, I thought a signature would be required, that is why I was waiting. Anyway it should be here Friday and I really hope it is worth the wait. I will update this and change the stars accordingly. Also I see they are doing the pillow now with the bed. I wish they did the pillow when we bought ours. The cushion is nice, but we aren't going to use it as much as I think we would have used a pillow.

I I tried the mattress due to its excellent ratings for being a cooler memory foam mattress. It does sleep MUCH cooler than my regular memory foam. However, it does not provide enough cushion for my bad back. I could not walk after a few nights on the mattress. I am trying to return the mattress and have not been responded to as of yet.

The mattress is comfortable, but it slopes down on the side, taking a good 1-2 inches off the total usable width of the bed. If I get too close to the edge of the bed, I feel like I'm falling out. I'm not sure what to do. I hate to return it, but I don't want to fall out of bed either.

I have waited years for a bed like this! It's soft yet firm at the same time, doesn't get hot, and actually relieves pressure points. I have a hard time getting out of my bed- because it's so comfortable! Purple needs to make a sleep pillow in the likes of a contoured Temperpedic to go with the mattress!!

The pad itself was decently comfortable. However, I did find that the pad was a good deal too small for my seat, and so I have to readjust it's position to keep it in an ok spot. The pad itself also has a habit of collapsing around the edges and not coming back in height, which makes the pad even smaller. But if nothing else, the pad is still comfortable. I just wish it was made a good couple of inches larger.
