Purchased my Purple in the beginning of January, was delivered to my door about 3 weeks from purchase date. I feel like this was reasonable for delivery, although I did have to interact with Purple for a delivery date. Purple was excellent to deal with and their team seemed to care about my needs. If anything I would suggest that Purple as a company figure out how to shorten lead times on all of their products to insure happy, fulfilled customers. I would probably order more of their goods if I did not have to wait weeks for a set of stretchy bed sheets! Now, when it comes to the mattress, I am very pleased. It took almost a week for my wife and I to adjust our sleep habits to get maximum results. I used to be a front sleeper, but I find that now I am more of a back sleeper, which I believe is better for my back. I weigh 155 lbs and I feel like maybe that my body does not engage the mattress as much as someone who may weigh closer to 200 lbs. My wife who is lighter then me, also took several days to get comfortable, is now happy with the purchase. Our previous mattress was a plush pillow top that was at the end of its life, so for us its been a big transition, but ultimately I am happy with the purchase. Thank you Purple!

Love, love, love our new Purple mattress! My husband and I had both been waking up achy and out of sorts after not sleeping well on our old mattress. But we had put off purchasing a new one because there were just so many choices and so many of them were SO expensive. After falling for the videos and reading all of the positive reviews (not to mention a great price) we ordered our Purple. We've had it for approximately two months and I have to say, we have slept better in that two months than I think we have in years! The only thing I will say is that they recommend stretchy sheets - we ordered a very overpriced set of sheets and I find them more annoying than the regular sheets we rotate with.

When I initially purchased the Purple 4 mattress I found it to be mostly comfortable, though probably not anymore than the average memory foam. After a couple months I started to wake up with neck and back soreness. As I had been using the mattress for more than the 21 day adjustment period they claim I attributed it to my pillow. I have since purchased many different pillows with no relief. I recently stayed at a hotel where I brought my own pillow to test the theory and for the first time in weeks woke up without any pain. This leads me to believe it is definitely the mattress causing my pain. Unfortunately I am outside of the 100 day return period and will not be allowed to return. This mattress is extremely overpriced for the comfort level it provides.

I was sooo skeptical ordering a bed offline but the return policy definitely sold me. At first I wasn't a huge fan of the jelly bed and my boyfriend and I refer to it as bc it was sooo firm and I like squishy beds. His side was "broken in" a bit faster bc he's 6'2 and 200 lbs where I'm 5'3 and 130 I felt like I was sleeping "on top" of the mattress (I know you sleep on top of mattresses but I meant it wasn't conforming to me) but that has now gone away after a month. I also had some back pain at first because I think for the first time my back was being held in correct alignment and my body didn't know how to react. Back pain also has gone away. I didn't realize how much I'd fallen in love with jelly bed until I slept somewhere else for a few nights. Now I know my love is real. (Is that considered cheating?)

I've always been a stomach sleeper. I had previously found sleeping on my side or back too uncomfortable to fall asleep. After trying purple I'm happy to say I've started sleeping on my back and side a lot more often. It's so hard not to just stay in bed all the time now.

Let me start off by saying that I gave this two stars, solely because of the mattress. The experience with Purple was great. Shipping was faster than expected, and the quality of the product seems top notch. OK, on to the bed then. When I ordered this bed, I was mostly concerned with three things that I had heard were an issue with "non-traditional" mattresses: 1)They have a bad smell. 2) They revery hot. 3)Due to your weight distribution, your feet are always elevated. I must say that on all three of these issues, the Purple mattress passed with flying colors. There was no smell, it sleeps nice and cool, and it didn't feel like I was sleeping in a hammock, with my feet being elevated. All that being said, I really don't think this is the bed for me. Purple says that it takes about 3 weeks to get used to sleeping on their mattresses, and they ask you to give it at least that amount of time before making up your mind on whether or not you want to keep it. After the first night I was like "nope, not for me!" But, I decided to give it a few weeks before deciding. It has now been almost 5 weeks, and although it has gotten a little bit better, it's still not for me. I think I will give it a few more weeks, and if I still feel this way, I will ask for a refund. Here are my issues: First of all, I had read that some stomached side sleepers experienced numbness in their arms, and this was the case for me. I have slowly ended up sleeping on my back. The good news is that I typically snore when sleeping on my back, but since sleeping on the Purple mattress, I have not been kicked or hit by my wife in the middle of the night due to my snoring. The bad news is that I wake up to back pain. For me, this mattress is too soft and even feels lumpy. It feels really comfortable when you first lay down on it, but after about five minutes it doesn't feel so great. It reminds me of sleeping on a guest bed. Like when people put a plush mattress topper on an old worn out mattress. At first it feels great, but you just wake up with back pain. So here is my issue, I can't sleep on my stomach or sides or I wake up with numbness in my arms, and I can't sleep on my back or I wake up being sore. My wife isn't experiencing the same issues, and actually likes the fact that I'm not snoring. That being said, she isn't really in love with the mattress either. I told her that I wanted to send it back and she said "Whatever..." That's not exactly a ringing endorsement. My final issue with the mattress is the way it looks. This is by far the least important thing, but it doesn't look very nice. Remember how I said that it felt like I was sleeping on a worn out guest bed? That's what it looks like too. If you are someone that likes to have a nice crisp looking bed, this is not for you. It looks less like the Waldorf Astoria, and more like Jerry's Motor Inn. Like I said, this is not the most important thing for me, and probably not at all important for a lot of people, but it is one more issue I had with the bed. It's something that I could easily look past if I absolutely loved sleeping in it. I plan on giving it another month before making my final decision, and I hope that I can adjust to it, because I'm a tad bit skeptical of the 100 night trial period. I have a tough time believing there is no catch. We will see. If things change in the next month, and I'm able, I will update my review.

I no longer have back and neck pain, for years I have struggled with this problem. I knew I needed to invest in a better bed, little did I know that this bed would change my life. I am so glad I did not spend thousands on a sleep number or pillowtop, definitely lived up to it's standards and it's all about the hype.

We purchased the Purple mattress because my husband had heard good things. I am a stomach and side sleeper, so my body is still readjusting itself. I can really feel a difference when I sleep on my back, it is just trying to stay there! My husband had shoulder surgery the day after we got the mattress so he hasn't had a chance to try it out yet.

I'm very happy with my Purple mattress. Before Purple, I woke every morning sweating, with sore shoulders/hips, and a very sore low back. Now I am just down to low back pain and I don't blame the mattress for that. The bed is SO comfortable, doesn't shake my sleeping companion when I roll over, and I sleep cool. I highly recommend you try it. Set up was easy, too!

We've been sleeping on our new matress for a few weeks now and really love it. My wife and I have had various pains (hip, back) and this mattress not only helps us sleep better but both of us are experiencing reduced pain. One negative, I travel a lot for work and this matress does make it harder to sleep on hotel mattresses.
