We have had our Purple for over a month now, and we sleep great. It has helped tremendously with my neck pain and pressure points really do disappear, but my hip pain, especially when laying or propped up on my back, still won't stop. I am pregnant and have been on bed rest quite a bit (meaning I've spent WAY too much time in this bed), so I don't feel like I can blame this all on the bed. Although, it would sure be nice to have a bed I can lay in for days at a time without feeling like my hips are broken. We do love that it is MUCH cooler and more comfortable than the memory foam we slept on before.

I ordered the king and king base in most part due to back issues. Originally my king was two xl twins, but after realizing young adult activities lead to falling into the mattress well, I ordered the king. The mattresses are great and I've slept better than I ever have before. The adjustable base allows for zero gravity (floating), reading, watching tv and customization settings. Customer service is awesome and the payment plans allow for great sleep while you pay for the bed. Great product, highly recommend.

We loved our purple pillows so we bought the mattress. It's is honestly so comfortable unless I roll over toward the middle of the bed.. then it feels like rolling up hill! One of my major concerns was sagging in the middle. This mattress doesn't do that but I feel like it's wearing out directly beneath my body. (We've has it about 3 months) Now. Like any good people customer I got the mattress protector, the sheets.. no improvement. Finally over much disagreement I convinced my hubby to ditch the old box spring and frame for the purple platform. OH NO! So incredibly squeaky! Sharp edges!!!!!! Poorly placed support beams along the edge of the bed have resulted in many stubbed toes. And last but not least, no improvement in the performance of the mattress. I really wish purple would take back the dangerous base they sold me and replace it with something that will do the job without endangering my little girl who crawls around near the sharp edges!!!! If purple reaches out to me I will update this review.

Horrible pain. I wake up not being able to breathe from pressure points. It's almost like a cramp but excruciating pain. I always wake up hot - we have purple sheet and mattress cover - and I've never been more uncomfortable in my own sleeping space. It's a pain in the entire body to move this thing as well.

I suffer from severe arthritis so was hoping for some relief. Honestly, the very first night I used my new mattress was a shock to me. I had no pain in the morning! I now take a lot fewer pain relievers and no longer hate "hitting the hay". It also fits perfectly with my adjustable bed.

We bought the purple hybrid 3 hoping for support and comfort, and it just didn't deliver. The reviews were very mixed, but a friend owns the same mattress and loves it. My husband and I both have back issues from previous car accidents, and the reviews stated this mattress helps alleviate that pain. 3 months in to owning it, and my husband is back to waking up in pain and sleeping on the couch. We are returning it today. I am highly disappointed, especially with the cost being so high. Would not recommend if you have back issues.

I'm frankly very disappointed with the Purple Original, I did extensive research into multiple brands because I knew I'd be dishing out over a grand for a premium mattress. Getting the 'Original' was an obvious mistake on my part, this mattress should not be over $1000. It's weird because the majority of reviews say this is best for side sleepers, I wake up in more pain now than I did with my previous mattress. I honestly believe these mattresses are made for people above 180lbs possibly over 200lbs, these are not meant for anyone below that weight range(my husband is 200lbs, and thinks the mattress is great, I'm 160lbs). It feels like I'm laying on top of a camping mat. The mesh grid only compresses on my hips and even then the 'Original' only has 2inch of the gel grid once you get past that it's like sleeping on a board. Oh! Also, in none of the reviews online (google) did it mention that you had to buy the purple sheets in order to get the full potential of the mattress. So going onto the website was super confusing because they say that's what you had to do. But because none of the other reviews mentioned this I didn't think I needed them! Also a mistake on my part. I will be returning this item once I'm able to find an appropriate replacement. I really hope that purple donates the mattress and doesn't just take it to the dump.

I don't normally write reviews but I'm loving my Purple Plus. I have chronic knee back and neck pain from years of military service and the fact that I'm accident prone and love to do dumb stuff. I also usually sleep 4-5 hours and then wake up. Ever since getting my mattress I wake up feeling like I've actually slept and rested, my body hurts less and I average 6.5-7hrs of sleep. This is by far the best mattress I've slept on.

I'm very happy with my mattress and pillow purchases! I was a bit nervous due to the big purchase, but I have been sleeping so well since I received them about a month ago. On my old mattress, I was waking up with a stiff lower back and have not experienced that again since sleeping on my Purple mattress. So happy!

It's hard to give a review after only a few weeks, but in general my back/lower back feels much better on the purple mattress. I'm still waking up stiff, but in a different manner and it feels corrective. Sleeping longer throughout the night. It's been an improvement from a normal spring mattress, for sure...
