Prior to "Purple" I dreaded bed time because it meant pain, discomfort, and hours of tossing & turning before I fell asleep, usually due to pure exhaustion. The problem was that regardless of mattress type, pressure against my hips, glutes, and sciatic nerve resulted in painful, sleepless nights. Now, with "Purple" I look forward to bedtime because I am rewarded with pain-free sleep, lots of sleep! Thank you "Purple".

We are sleeping so much better...love the mattress. My husband and I really feel like our back feels better, we are not stiff when we wake up. The mattress is a little firmer than we thought but when your laying on it your body forms to the mattress. Would buy this again!

Good: it is springy and comfortable although I still have some shoulder pain and numbness. I can't keep the dogs off of it because they love it, and my 5 year old granddaughter sleeps great in it too. Also, it's made here in the US creating jobs and keeping money in our system Bad: this thing is heavy and soft, like dead weight. If you're one to move the bed to clean under the floor, I hope you have access to a very strong person. It has no rigid sides so it's difficult to move this mattress. Meh: I can feel the silicone lattice shape when I lay on the mattress. Not horrible but it takes getting used to. Also the return policy: You have to find someone (a charity) to donate it to and arrange transportation of it. They will as a last resort send someone to get it but then they have to destroy the mattress and throw it in a landfill. Other: Mine came packaged wrong; when it unrolled it was upside down. And sideways. And it's a king size. And I was alone. It took me 3 hours to get it flipped and I'm not a weak person. Purple did send me a seat cushion for my troubles though. Which also has me whelmed. Neither overwhelmed nor underwhelmed. The price was good, a better mattress than comparably priced mattresses in stores. Overall I'm not entirely sure I'd buy it again but I would certainly consider it.

We're three weeks in and my shoulder and hip pain while in bed are getting better but I'm still having back pain and I think it's because my body insists on sleeping on my stomach! I try so hard to sleep on my back or side and always wake up on my stomach! My husband is loving it though!

Being one of the early adopters of the Purple Mattress technologies my wife and I were very comfortable for years, 5 years to be exact...then we noticied the bed had started to sag where we lay predominantly, creating "the king's hump" which happens at times with kind sized mattresses. After contacting Purple and sending photos and a couple emails. Purple warrantied the original mattress and the replacement has been fantastic, just like we were used to before. Thank you Purple! I would recommend this bed to anyone, I have told many people about the best mattress I've used Purple...also my favorite color. ;-)

When I first opened the mattress I was very impressed with how quickly it took shape! It looks exactly how I expected it to, and you can even feel the grid underneath the mattress cover. One thing I noticed is that it's not quite as soft as I was expecting. Although it does keep me much cooler at night (major plus!), I've noticed that I seem to be doing a lot more tossing and turning. I don't know if my body is just not used to the bed yet, or if it truly doesn't fit what I need. Only time will tell :)

My wife and I got this mattress for our anniversary. We were so excited to get it. I think nearly every night since we started using it we have both randomly smiled and said "I love our new mattress." I sleep sooooo good now. Glad I went with the king size.

After sleeping on a terrible mattress for years I saw the Purple commercial and knew I had to get it. After just 1 nights sleep on the purple I woke up feeling rested and no painful knots from sleeping on my side where sometimes my legs would fall asleep. Thanks Purple!

I love it! It's what I hoped every expensive, or not, mattress, or sleep thing would always be. It has the perfect (for me, so far) combination of firm, yet squishy. Just Perfect! It feels engineered. I can perceive the effort and thought inside of it (maybe in the voids?). This is from a guy (me) very used to dealing with highly engineered thingys of all flavors. (** that's a compliment **) It's winter now and the next real test will come on the other side of our orbit, when my '60s home's lack of a/c will be much more material to me than it is now. Right now I've got a bedding sandwich consisting of: Purple mattress/Purple white fitted sheet/Purple white top sheet/comfy soft waffle weave blanket/grandma made flannel lined quilt made of MY OWN pre 1995 retired jeans. The bed is in the lower level of my split entry mid century home. While it does feel much cooler down there (vs upstairs) in Summer, some swampy summer scorchers will come every single year, and I'll be there, hopefully for eight sweat free restful hours. When it finally does gets hot, any kind of hot, I am making a kind of rare (for me) Optimistic prediction that this mattress will perform very, very well ( Exactly how well.....we'll see...stay tuned). I came to that prediction through two methods. One: The ventilated design by it's nature Seems to indicate a natural ventilation will occur. Of course, this is a guess. but I've got some wisdom, and I am using it here. Two: Until I decided to take my old mattress and put it inside a tent out in the snow, my bedding sandwich had one other item that had been on my old metal spring mattress (how old fashioned and gross, ick). That was my trusty mattress pad heater. This thing would warm up my bed before getting in, and sometimes through the night. It's just like a super warm (but healthy, and not contagious) entity had just gotten out, warming it up for you. It's so much better than getting into a COLD bed. Brrrrrr!! Awful. Booo! Anyway I did notice it took a much higher setting on my dial (0-10) to get the same warmth. A bummer, but as long as I just had to crank it up a bit, no biggie. But.... it does tell me that the same heat (my old dial setting) isn't effecting myself (my chilliness factor) as much.... therefore those Therms must (probably) be dissipating in the voids of Purple polymer, or some such engineering/science voodoo that I now trust, that you do so well. A + Purple *** :) I will have to find a appropriate pillow. My instinct with this mattress is to have none, but I need something to keep my head pointed to the sky (back sleeper, but side curious). The mattress is good but really heavy. I challenge the product team to deliver same features with less weight. The mattress is very impractival if you leave in rented accomodation and need to move every few year(s). The mattress cna be a real pain if you have to move it.
