I have always preferred sleeping on my stomach. I could never fall asleep on my back. But after a few weeks sleeping on the Purple mattress, I've found I sleep really well on my back. It's not really a good or bad finding, just astonishing! I still sleep on my stomach and side, I just now have another option of sleeping on my back! But that's not my miracle. I also have fairly bad RLS, which makes sleep difficult. Also, the medicine for RLS has a side effect of insomnia. I just wasnt' sleeping. I can't explain why, but after a few weeks of using Purple, I rarely take any medication at all! I tried a different mattress for a few weeks and had to go back on my medication. Purple mattress has made a great difference in my life!! One critique: the mattress is difficult to move. It is floppy and heavy. It would be helpful to have some handles on the sides to get a grip on it for moving!

This mattress has been everything we could hope for. We really, really liked the Goldilocks advertisement for it, and, true to form, the mattress has given us fantastic sleep for the last several weeks. Buying the mattress with the Sleepopolis code also sent us the Royal Purple Cushion, which is fantastic for road trips. Thanks for engineering such a quality mattress!

Slept in our new purple bed last night for the first time. It is so comfortable. Husband suffered 3rd degree burns over 40% of his body a year ago. This caused multiple issues including neuropathy and atrophy. He hasn't slept well since he came out of a coma several months after the accident. He slept last night. Need I say more?!

It's OK. Not like "wow!" That is the best night sleep ever! I am a side sleeper and feel pressure on my shoulder. It's better then what we had. We had a 15 year old sleep number bed. I am not stiff in the morning like I used to be. I am hoping to get used to the mattress. We also bought the bed frame. We thought maybe it was a little warped or something not quite right.

One of the biggest reasons why I bought this mattress is because I had a cool touch mattress but after laying in one spot for a while it gets really hot. Unfortunately this mattress also gets hot and you have to move. It is a comfortable mattress though no more pain in my arms or hip area

I've had mybPrurole mattered for two years now and I have not ever gotten tired of laying, sleeping or being on it. I've spent so much more on prior mattress for which I grew tired of and would get aches, toss and turn all night and get really hot since my body seems like a furnace but with Purple, God, it's a-friggin-may-zing! Best sleep I think I've ever had. It's like the first couple of hours of sleep you get in a five star hotel, but ALL night in your own bed! Recommend this to anyone who has trouble sleeping through the night and longs to wake up feeling refreshed. Got my youngest a Twin XL and I'm about to give my older daughter my Queen sized just so I can get myself a King!

I got a king size original purple mattress. I have slept on it for almost a month now. O have never gotten into such a deep sleep. I went from waking up 3 to 4 times a night to not waking up till my alarm goes off. As a welder for John deere I work 10-16 hour days (optional) and usually have a lot of fatigue and pain in joints and lower back.. since sleeping on this mattress I feel like a new man. No back pain, no leg pain just a good night's sleep and a pain free day! Thanks Purple!!!

I'm a bigger person ( 6foot 4inches, 300lbs), and the layers of foam under the purple surface started to lose support after about 60-70 days. anymore, if I sleep towards the edge of the mattress, it feels like I'm rolling downhill & about to fall on the floor as the foam layers have no support for me anymore. I definitely expected much more for the price I paid. still, its better than the lumpy worn mattress it replaced

Owning the purple mattress has not been as comfortable as I had hoped. The mattress has helped in the support of my lower back. But the side affect I am having is massive shoulder paint. My lower half is happy, my shoulders are screaming for a change. So with that in mind, this mattress is not coming thru with the claims of the best mattress on the planet. Thus my rating; it is a good mattress for lower back but it is painful on the shoulders. Maybe it will work for others, but not for me.

It's my first mattress perchase since childhood. I'm a Bread Baker and I need a good night's sleep for an early bake. It's a situation where I'm getting aquainted. And I'm falling asleep faster, and moving less during my sleep. A.k.a that's Good. The sheets are so breathable and comfy too. I think purple is here to stay. Eventually consider the adjustable base in the future It's alot to buy for a Single Person
