While the purple does have great back support, the off-gasing or material it is made of is not hypo-allergenic. The first few weeks I had to sleep on the couch because my throat would close up if I laid down on the mattress. It's been about 3 and 1/2 weeks since it arrived and it's to the point that if I stay on my pillow I'm ok, but if I roll off of it I start having an allergic reaction again. The polyurethane may be the issue. It's so hard to find a truly hypo-allergenic mattress that offers awesome support these days!

We love our new Purple bed! The mattress protector was a great purchase as well because the puppy tried to mark his territory on the foot of the bed. The Mattress Protector held strong and didn't let anything through, saving the mattress from the stain and the smell!! -highly recommended

I feel like I'm sleeping on top of the mattress and it's a bit too firm. Still insure if it's going to work out for us. Waiting for the 100 night trial period to give it an honest try though. I wish it was more plush or that it had some kind of top layer that was plush so I felt more snuggly. I often wake up with tail bone area feeling pulled or tight because when I sleep on my back the mattress is too firm and hurts that area. I have some back problems already, and I do appreciate the back support, but overall, not sure if it's going to work out.

The concept is great. The feel of the mattress is mildly firm. Feels great falling asleep on my back. Problem is that during the night, I turn to become a side sleeper. When I wake up, my hips are screaming in pain. I need to lay flat on my back to ease the pain. My wife is a side sleeper too, and she too has extreme hip pain upon waking up. It's over a month now, and only getting worse. So sorry, it needs to go back.

Hands down the best mattress I've ever owned. Worth every penny and then some My husband has a bad back and every few years we have to replace our mattress with hopes that he will stop tossing and turning all night keeping me up too. We've both slept 8+ hours straight through for the first time in years. Super comfortable. Just enough softness not to feel like sleeping in a board but enough firmness so I don't wake up sore.

Serious, go get one, finance one, buy one if you can afford it. DO IT NOW! Literally their commercial slogan "Your Back Will Thank You" is exactly what I'm "back" to tell you. MY BACK IS INCREDIBLE AND THANKS ME EVERY DAY. I'm a big guy, and I exceed the "recommended weight of 300" but I can assure you this bed cradles me and my large manly-ness to sleep as if I was a baby. I sleep through the night perfect. NOW: The biggest selling points! 1. I DONT SWEAT ANYMORE! I have not in my adult life slept a night without sweating, but thanks to purple, I sleep dry and cool. I think it has something to do with the stretchy breathable sheets which is my #2 point. 2. THE SHEETS DONT COME OFF. I was sold when I watched the commercial promising the sheets dont come off, and since they had a 90 day return policy I was excited with glee to put their word to the test. I have not had to fix my bed sheets once since strapping these stretchy bamboo godly given sheets to my Purple Mattress. The End, i've been meaning to write this extensive review and thank the scienctists and hard working packagers for shipping me the best nights sleep ive ever experienced. WORTH EVERY PENNY (PS: I financed and its increased my credit score and I didn't have to pay a penny for the first month!) THANK YOU PURPLE! I WONT BE CASHING IN ON THAT 90 DAY RETURN POLICY

Still settling into my new bed. They say it takes about 21 days to adjust. Easy un-packaging. I'm a five foot female and did it by myself. Reasoning for three stars is because my body still hasn't fully adjusted, but a plus is that the bed sleeps cool.

I have had the bed for about 3 weeks not and I have to say that I am impressed! It sleeps very comfortably. I do not get hot! I do not sink to far into the mattress so that I would not roll around (I am over 225 lbs.). I do not ache in the mornings !!! The mattress comes in that sleeping bag roll... if you move this by your self and plan to set it up by yourself, It is like moving a 110 lbs. drunk person or dead body... it moves but it just flops around... once you go to get it out of the bag it would be nice if there where some unrolling instructions on the plastic wrap... so that you don't unroll it upside down... NOTE: I did not have to cut the bag that holds it as packaging!! it just slid out... its a huge duffle bag!! unfortunately my vacuum seal was busted so there was no rewarding inflation while unwrapping... and then I had to flip the mattress over which is harder than you would think... (Think flipping a 110LBS wet noodle)... I would buy another mattress from them again... The purchase process is very easy ... The waiting on shipping is like waiting on Christmas morning though!! It took about a week for it to get here...

The bed is rated 5 stars for a reason, because it's unlinke any other bed out there. I didn't want to review the bed for at least a month or two after purchase and at this point we're 100% happy we decided to go with Purple. Extremely comfortable, best night sleep the wife & I have had in years and the customer service/delivery were above average. Thanks again!

This mattress is well made and the process of getting it home was very simple. Unfortunately we are several weeks in my husband and I feel as though this is not the right mattress for us. It is much too firm for us. I am hoping the return process is as simple as the purchasing one.
