I have some kinks in my back to be fair and one of my frustrations with my last mattress (Latex, organic, hypoallergenic) was that after a very short time the support was just not there. I am not small but I am not huge. I weigh 215 pounds. This mattress was great for a couple weeks but I am already noticing sag in the middle. One of the reasons I purchased this mattress was that it has a strong tendency to rebound but the cost is not worth it. All the hype, all the marketing, all the gimmicks, nothing special. There is good movement isolation. Even the supportiveness and firmness were nice at first (although I would have liked a bit softer) but again after a month the support starts deteriorating. Not impressed, this is not a bad product I just don't recommend this product for the price.

When we got it delivered there was no way I could lift it or drag it into the house, my husband had to do it, so it is really heavy, I suggest if you live alone or are a small person you will need to have a friend come help you get in to your place and get it to your bedroom. It was a real pain to get it unwrapped, lifted on to the bed , and get the plastic off. It really needs a sticker so something indicating which side is up so when you unwrap it you dont unwrap it wrong side up, which is what we did. I took a star off for these reasons only. The mattress was really uncomfortable the first week, but only because we where sleeping on crap and our muscles where not accustomed to having proper support so we had some soreness but now I dont want to sleep anywhere else! We are loving this mattress and both sleeping great! No more hip or back pain, and its not hot at all for a foam mattress. I will not buy anything other than a Purple from here on out. I suggest buying one right now and giving it a go! Oh and buy their mattress protector! please do it! Its soft and it's already come in handy (dog threw up on our bed) so yea add it to your purchase its worth it.

If you liked the feeling of sleeping on a park bench, then this is the mattress for you! I was really excited about getting my new mattress with hopes that sleeping would be a dream. This mattress is super thin compared to my old mattress & it's extremely hard. There is no plushness or cradling it feels like you are sleeping on a hard park bench. Last night I sat on edge & totally slipped off, this mattress has no edge support at all. My fiancé suggested we get a mattress topper, that is absolutely not happening, who pays $1000+ for a mattress & then you have to buy mattress topper. I'm side & stomach sleeper & i wake up with hip pain that wasn't present before. I might as well put a pillow & blanket on my hard wood floors at least that's free! Of course I emailed purple & they make you keep the mattress for 21 days before you can return it or before a sleep specialist can help you. I don't need help just need to return this overpriced park bench. I have 5 purple pillows on my bed & the purple seat cushions which are great but this mattress is not good at all.

The mattress is a bit underwhelming. I will say that once you lay flat it is comfortable, but much thinner than the Temporpedic I had and no more comfortable. The sheets, yeah no go. Too heavy, hot and so stretchy, that you get tangled in them. However my biggest complaint is the wealk sales system. You're quick to process the money but honestly poor at delivery, as compared to others. The website only shows order is being processed for quite a long time vs giving updates. I only got a status change once it was delivered. And my whole order didn't come together, I had to wait longer than a week to get the upsold sheets to it. So decent mattress that I won't buy again, and poor delivery and communication. Here a hint, stop placing that " it was worth the wait" review on the order status page... it's insulting.

I've never experienced a bed like this and have recommended it to family and friends. If there was some kind of referal reward system for customers it would make people go out and talk about your bed. Then you reward your customers instead of marketing in commercials

I will say I am very impressed with the Purple mattress. My old pillow top mattress was giving me joint pain and I couldn't get comfortable but since I have had this Purple mattress, I don't wake up with pain. I will say it does take getting used to but I believe any mattress you purchase does take time to adjust. I am extremely pleased so far with my purchase. I have noticed I am sleeping better and waking up with no pain is great! I do recommend this mattress.

I purchased the purple bed about 1 year ago. Initially, I loved the bed as it was firm and helped with my lower back issues. After 6 months, the bed began to have noticeable dips where my buttocks/hip would lie. After contacting purple and with GREAT DIFFICULTY, they finally agreed to replace the bed since it was still under warranty (with much left to add!). They stated it was probably a defect in that specific bed which they were aware of. Now, after 6 months with the new mattress that they sent, I am having the same issues again! There continues to be dips in the bed which only aggravates my lower back issues. I am forced to sleep on the other side of the bed and find parts of the bed which do not dip - imagine that! Please, please, please - look at other reviews of this bed and see for yourself that this is a recurring problem. BUYER BEWARE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BED

The only comment I would have is you should let customers know that a box spring isn't necessary if your using a platform frame to support the purple mattress we thought we needed a box spring and spent extra money we didn't need to spend. We are using the box spring anyway it makes the mattress firmer than with out I love these mattresses and can't sleep in anything else

I'm loving my new original purple mattress and purple pillows. I feel so much more rested and experience less aches and pains waking up. I'm a hard sleeper, as well as a hot sleeper and I live in the south. But this mattress and pillows help me stay cool as well.

I loved the advertisements for Purple, and I hated my bed so I took a chance and bought a bed for my brother and myself. Seriously best investment ever. The bed just embraces you in the best possible way. I've bought the sheets and pillow after that. Highly Highly recommend.
