Takes a while to get the wow factor, don't expect to love it the first night. The more I sleep on it the more I love it. Firm and very well made. I'm 235 pounds, and worried about the stability of the mattress, very impressed so far. I have had it over a month, so far so good.

Hello there. I definitely like the purple mattress so far, my issue is just is it worth the price. It's definitely not bad, but it doesn't seem super exceptional either. I think it might be comparable to a regular mattress in terms of comfort (for me that is) but not worth the price. I'll give it a few more weeks but may be returning it eventually before the 100 days is up. The pillow on the other hand is really great, I have neck problems and haven't had an issue with it. That is fairly priced I think so I might end up buying one of those. Thank you

We were one of the first people to purchase the original Purple mattress about 5 years ago. After we noticed a slight sag in the middle over the years, we contacted customer service who quickly helped us submit for a warranty replacement. Thank you, we love the newer version even more!

I have never loved a bed more. I love to travel and now every time I have to leave I get sad because I can't take my bed with me. Can you guys make couches and sleeping bags? I was skeptical at first because I heavily research products before I purchase but felt good about it since it was backed by the 100 night trail (heck no I am not sending it back). Anyway, this bed is amazing-I don't know who is giving this bed bad reviews. I am convinced it's Big Bed and other companies that are jealous they didn't think of it first. One con is the bed is VERY HEAVY-when you first get it delivered be prepared to have strong people, ready for a workout. Also the purple sheets catch water stains which is not cool especially if you lay down with wet hair etc...Feeling wise the sheets are like a piece of heaven (I am not even religious)

I have not had mattress for very long. Still having same amount of lower back pain. I had a sleep number bed before The Purple and they seem to be the same at this point. I will continue to sleep on and hopefully my back pain will decrease before the 100 days.

I love it! It's what I hoped every expensive, or not, mattress, or sleep thing would always be. It has the perfect (for me, so far) combination of firm, yet squishy. Just Perfect! It feels engineered. I can perceive the effort and thought inside of it (maybe in the voids?). This is from a guy (me) very used to dealing with highly engineered thingys of all flavors. (** that's a compliment **) It's winter now and the next real test will come on the other side of our orbit, when my '60s home's lack of a/c will be much more material to me than it is now. Right now I've got a bedding sandwich consisting of: Purple mattress/Purple white fitted sheet/Purple white top sheet/comfy soft waffle weave blanket/grandma made flannel lined quilt made of MY OWN pre 1995 retired jeans. The bed is in the lower level of my split entry mid century home. While it does feel much cooler down there (vs upstairs) in Summer, some swampy summer scorchers will come every single year, and I'll be there, hopefully for eight sweat free restful hours. When it finally does gets hot, any kind of hot, I am making a kind of rare (for me) Optimistic prediction that this mattress will perform very, very well ( Exactly how well.....we'll see...stay tuned). I came to that prediction through two methods. One: The ventilated design by it's nature Seems to indicate a natural ventilation will occur. Of course, this is a guess. but I've got some wisdom, and I am using it here. Two: Until I decided to take my old mattress and put it inside a tent out in the snow, my bedding sandwich had one other item that had been on my old metal spring mattress (how old fashioned and gross, ick). That was my trusty mattress pad heater. This thing would warm up my bed before getting in, and sometimes through the night. It's just like a super warm (but healthy, and not contagious) entity had just gotten out, warming it up for you. It's so much better than getting into a COLD bed. Brrrrrr!! Awful. Booo! Anyway I did notice it took a much higher setting on my dial (0-10) to get the same warmth. A bummer, but as long as I just had to crank it up a bit, no biggie. But.... it does tell me that the same heat (my old dial setting) isn't effecting myself (my chilliness factor) as much.... therefore those Therms must (probably) be dissipating in the voids of Purple polymer, or some such engineering/science voodoo that I now trust, that you do so well. A + Purple *** :) I will have to find a appropriate pillow. My instinct with this mattress is to have none, but I need something to keep my head pointed to the sky (back sleeper, but side curious). My wife and I love our purple mattress! We are currently traveling to visit family and all we talk about is getting back to our purple bed. My advise to anyone thinking about a new mattress is to skip the foams and buy yourself the best mattress... Your body will thank you.

Of course I was a skeptic before buying this mattress! I've tried all the expensive ones, ALL of them! I have severe shoulder issues when I sleep. I have to sleep almost in a full sitting up position. While the bed didn't take away the nerve pain, it DID take away all the pressure pain!! Normally I would wake up several times during the night with pain in my hip, but thanks to the Purple Mattress, It's firm enough AND soft enough to ease that pain! No longer a skeptic and I DO sleep through the night now! Thank you purple for making a great product and standing behind it!

As much as I really wanted Purple to be the right mattress for me, unfortunately it did not provide the support that my body needed. I'm a back and stomach sleeper and I started to get severe neck, shoulder, and back pain after the 3rd night of sleeping on it. I thought maybe my body needed time to adjust to it but the more I slept on it, the more pain I was in. It also ran hot for me - not cool at all. I woke up many nights drenched in sweat. Also, the corners cave in when you put regular sheets on the mattress. I eventually returned the mattress after using it for a 3 weeks (technically had it for a month since it took a week for pick up). The representative I spoke with on the phone to start the return process was not very informative and seemed annoyed that I was asking questions. He just told me to answer the questions on the email that they'll send me and go from there. It would have been nice for him to provide the information verbally just in case I were to misread certain areas. I just wanted to make sure I got all the information since I already had him on the phone. The return process took about two and a half weeks. I choose the option for Purple to help me on finding a donation center for the mattress and they directed me to Sharetown. I got an initial email from Sharetown and then a text from the person picking it up a couple days after. I would have preferred that they provided a name and number of that person picking up the mattress in the email because it seemed a little sketchy at first because he just texted me. Eventually, the person from Sharetown came and took the mattress. He suggests not moving the mattress because it's easier for them to pack and less risks of it getting damaged. Only one guy came and took the mattress. I was so impressed!! He did everything within 30 minutes. I submitted the receipt as soon as Sharetown took it. I received a confirmation for my return the next day. Be advised, they do mention that the return takes a few days to show up in the bank, but after waiting 7 DAYS, I received an email from Purple summarizing my full return but still no money back on my card. It took a week and a half for me to see my money back in my account so keep that in mind.

Very comfortable. My wife for the first time has not felt pain while sleeping on her side. And I am in love with how I sleep on this bed. My only complaints are that a) I still see all the ads everywhere and I already bought everything, and b) I wish there was a king-sized adjustable bed frame (I do miss the anti-snore position and the massage settings) I first tried this technology in a backpack years ago. Not the best backpack, but the best straps ever (in fact I wish you had replacement computer bag shoulder straps). The seat cushion is amazing (the handle broke but I still travel with it - great on planes!). I use the samples as a wrist rest for my mouse hand. If you made car seats, I'd buy them. As it is, I want to know if I can buy some purple foam to redo the cushion on an old vintage chair and chest.
