The only reason I give it a 4 is due to the shipping struggles and cleanliness of the mattress delivery. The mattress package was brought into my house very dirty and dusty. The papers and other contents inside prove the package was mishandled and not cared for. The mattress was ordered a month ago and the products only yesterday have all been delivered. I'm not sure if this is the fault of Purple but that's all the negatives I have. Unfortunately, I'm yet to sleep on the mattress yet but I can say that the pillows (which arrived a few weeks ago) have been great!

I've been a stomach and side-sleeper ever since I was a kid. I honestly tried hard to make other mattresses work, but I always woke up with my hips or shoulders aching. I'm only twenty-seven! After the first four weeks of adjustment, I now go to sleep almost the instant I touch my Purple mattress. No joint pain, lots of deep sleep cycles. There is just the right amount of squish on top and solid support underneath. I'll never buy another kind of mattress again.

Bought king purple. Left in hot AZ garage for a week before could get put on bed. Rolled it out and the mattress was 5" too short but comfortable as could be!!! Called their company and had a new mattress within days. Rolled this one out immediately and perfect fit! My husband's Fitbit went from 12+ times restless and 3 times awake to 2 restless and 0 awake times per night. Amazing!

This bed is different that you would expect. It is not a soft cloud that relaxes your every muscle. You will not eagerly anticipate sprawling out on your luxurious mattress. You will sleep better than you ever had and consistently wake up pain free every day. Good luck getting that from your fluffy cloud or you gilded luxury mattress.

This is our second Purple mattress. We were so happy with our first that we decided to buy from Purple again when we wanted to upgrade from a queen to a king. We are just as happy with this mattress as we were with the first. I don't feel my husband move at all through the night, and we both stay cool so we can sleep well. The mattress is just right - not too soft and not too firm. It is well worth the cost. Do note, these mattresses are HEAVY and do not have handles making it difficult to move them. Moving them once they are out of the bag and fully set up is a two- to three-person job. The mattress is floppy and doesn't like to behave. Outside of that though, this is the perfect mattress.

This bed is a life saver. I've been to physical therapy and massage therapy for my back, shoulder, and neck, and this bed has helped tremendously. It's firm support and it aligns your spine. Also, If you're thinking that you're going to sink into this bed like you would a cloud, not quite. It is soft but not like a memory foam or pillow top. It's more firm that soft. I would definitely recommend to people who has back/shoulder pain.

I decided to try this mattress because memory foam was no longer comfortable for me. This mattress is the perfect blend of soft and supportive, I also have the pillow. It's great for hot sleepers, it's so cool and just as comfortable on my side and on my stomach. Love this mattress

This mattress is great! I used to have a hard time getting out of bed because my back hurt. But I'm still sleeping in weird positions and I feel fine. I got the most basic mattress, which I am happy with, but I'll give it 4 stars because I wish it was just a bit softer. Maybe when I'm ready to toss this one I'll upgrade to one of the fancier options Purple has and like it better. All in all, pretty good for what I'd budgeted. I'm happy.

My boyfriend and I used to have a big king pillow top bed. Now it was very fluffy and comfortable but not much support. We'd often wake up with back, neck and pain random places. I have fibromyalgia so this makes it worse as well. When we decided to get a new bed we looked through all the reviews of differently beds you get in the mail. We decided on this one because it seemed to have the best overall reviews and a good level of firmness while claiming to be soft. It did take about 2 1/2 weeks to get here which was the only bad part. Once it came I sat right in bed and it felt wonderful. It felt really soft yet super supportive. It's definitely is a different feeling, but it didn't take long to get used too. Now we don't ever wake up with pain it's wonderful!

It is close to week 3 of sleeping on my Purple mattress and I'm on the fence about keeping it. Some of my aches have been alleviated and the pressure point alleviation technology of Purple seems to be working, which is great. However, the mattress just doesn't really feel comfortable. It has a firmness that you just don't "sink" into or get very comfortable in and what I can only describe as somewhat of a "clinical" or hospital bed type feel. At time it feels like my feet are "floating", however, this may be due to the pressure point alleviation tech. Another issue I had was with Purple's customer service. I signed up to receive updates regarding my order via Facebook Messenger and during this process I sent Purple several messages about the status of my mattress (as it took almost a month to receive) and only received automated responses. If you indicate that you are going to provide customer service through any channel, then you should support that channel, otherwise, please do not offer it! After getting no response, I called Purple directly and they claimed there was a staffing issue with their FB Messenger support, however, when I checked Purple's Facebook page, I noticed that someone from Purple was responding almost instantly to everyone, and I mean EVERYONE that had an inquiry or concern. If it had not been for this, I may have given Purple 4 stars. Also, it was apparent to me that they are understaffed and their lead times for mattress delivery were longer than I expected.
