I purchased The Purple mattress, before Christmas. It came just in time. My husband, has a fused back, and it was a present for him. I was kinda nervous, because I have a rare disease, that is quite painful. So, I valued a good mattress. I wished I would have tried it somewhere before I bought. I cant sleep on it. Every way I slept, some part of my body, would fall asleep, and I was woken up, about every hour or 2, with numbness. Needless to say, im sad, cause I cant use it, and he is sad, cause our sleeping together changed. I wanted to return it right away. However, neither of us felt like trying to put it back in the bag. I have some pretty nasty back issues (ruptured L5, back surgery in 2012, etc) and this mattress saved my life. I wake up every morning feeling more rested and supported than I ever thought possible. Many of my back issues have really calmed down...only after less than 30 days of sleeping on this mattress.

I used to be able to lay down at 8pm knowing that I would awaken at 10pm. I would then watch TV for a bit before drifting back off to sleep. Midnight would roll around and I would be up again. I would turn the TV off and grab a book, read a few pages then fall back to sleep. 2am would roll around and I would find myself awake again. Warm milk would usually help, so downstairs to the kitchen I would go. 2:15am wake up face down on the kitchen table. 2:20am back to sleep in bed. 4am awake and staring at the crack on the ceiling... did it get bigger? 6am alarm goes off. Now, it's like 10pm asleep, 6am alarm goes off with nothing in between. Oh, there apparently is no crack in my ceiling.

Well, I did my due diligence and in researching the perfect mattress to buy I referred to Consumer Reports. They gave Sleep Number the highest rating so we bought a sleep number. Unfortunately, we hated the Sleep Number and it didn't help with the pain in my hips. So we sent that back. Then we ordered our next mattress online and we liked it but it was not relieving the pressure points on my hips. So, at my husband's insistence we ordered a Purple mattress. Not only did we love the video explanation but my husband's engineer-mind kicked into gear and he thought there was a lot about the structure of Purple that just might help me sleep better at night. And he was right...I couldn't lay on my right side for more than 5 seconds without the pain screaming for me to switch positions. Now that we have the Purple I am sleeping much better (still experiencing some pain every now and then but nothing like before). And we all know if momma ain't happy, nobody's happy. I am grateful that the other two mattress companies had the 100 day trials so I could end up with a mattress that really helped me. I've also learned that Consumer Reports is not always right.

I was in need of a new bed and previously when i would search fro a bed, i would just purchase something that was comfy in the moment and cheap. This time i wanted to get a bed backed by science that would be both comfy and durable. I came across purple and based on what i saw i was convinced this was the bed for me. Since getting the purple mattress and base i have had the best sleep in my life. i am not waking up tired or aching in pain. I am getting up feeling rested and relaxed. it is always good when i can come home from a long day and rest in my purple bed. it is such a wonderful feeling. i have totally recommended my friends to purchase this bed.

Husband and I have been sleeping on the same double pillow top mattress for 10 years and my back always ached. The purple mattress gives my lower back support, and my sides don't hurt when I lay on them for a long time. My husband's snoring as quieted down quite a bit and even his back doesn't hurt when he gets up in the mornings. Truly the best purchase and worth the price.

Just like the title says...the BEST mattress I have ever slept on. I have back pain from injuries over the years, car wrecks, racecar wrecks, motorcycle wrecks, and besides those from doing stupid stuff to myself. Anything beyond 4-5 hours in bed and I was in pain. Needless to say I was not well rested. We replaced our mattress less than a year ago with a known name brand, could not stand it. We eagerly awaited the arrival of our Purple and have not been disappointed. From the first time I laid down on it...mind you it did feel different, I could really feel every part of me supported by the mattress.... I went to bed the first night with an aching back...woke up with NO back pain...NONE... I wanted to lay right back down in it. Now I can sit and read a book or watch TV in bed, couldn't do that before either. My wife loves to sit and read in bed, she loves the support too! Love it, Love it, Love it!!! Thank you Purple! We had such high hopes but I'm sorry but this mattress is soooo uncomfortable. My husband and I are both lightweight people and we woke up in so much pain during the trial period. I just felt like I was floating on top of the "supportive grid." Felt the same as I did after sleeping on the ground when an inflatable mattress once deflated during the night. Might work for heavier people but not for us.

Whatever the reason, I sleep better than when I was in my mother's womb. Between the mattress, pillow, and sheets it's like sleeping in the softest marahmellow fluff, without the stickiness, thankfully. I'm all seriousness, I've slept on the purple mattress for 3 weeks now and my back has never felt better. My shoulders don't hurt and I can get right up out of bed in the morning. It's like I'm 20 years younger and less creaky. I love it.
