I honestly love this mattress. My last one was getting to be about 10-11 years old and this was my first big purchase as an "adult." If you're looking for a super soft/ plush mattress- this is not that kind of mattress, but it is still pretty comfortable and soft. I'm sure it would be easy to make softer with a mattress topper. This mattress cradles you really nicely too, and doesn't sleep warm which is a huge issue for me with other foam mattresses. I'd absolutely recommend this bed without a second thought. I used to wake up in the middle of the night but I've been getting much better sleep and feeling much more restored and energetic since I switched to this bed.

After watching the commercial for purple mattress I was expecting to receive a very comfortable mattress similar to my previous plush top mattress. However, after having used it for three weeks, I am having a very difficult time getting used to this very Firm mattress.

My husband and I are very happy with our new purple mattress!! We've had it alittle over a month and we're both sleeping through the night again. Gone are the nights of waking up 10 times looking at the clock. Also, the last several years I have laid in bed swimming in my sweat from having such a hot mattress---not any more!!!! I haven't had one night that I was too hot! Believe it when it says the mattress will keep you cooler!!!!

My back still hurts a lot during my sleep, I have herniated disks, thought the mattress was going to help but not at all. It's been almost a month since we bought it so we're gonna give it more time. I do think it's better to have a no metal springs mattress.

This is the best bed ever, and I love it so much.i have loads of back problems, and laying in this bed (but not any others) helps relieve a lot of that pain. I became bedridden a couple years ago, and would spend 20-23 hours a day seven days a week laying down in bed, and this lasted for nearly two years. During that time, my original purple mattress did develop a dip, but I think that was because of the near-constant pressure for two years. I was sent a new mattress since I was still under warranty, so I'm absolutely thrilled besides. If you aren't bedridden, this bed will last you quite some time. If you are, I still recommend this bed. I know I'll never buy any other brand again, personally.

I usually wake up after 5 hours of sleeping with lower back pain. I have tried many matresses, but always the same result. I started sleeping on a Purple just over a month ago and now I sleep all night and into the next morning with NO pack pain. Not sure if this will work for everyone, but I am a believer!

We were about two weeks into our mattress search in store and online and was just about settled on one that cost $2,500+. A search online brought me to the Purple website with the cleaver advertising. After investigating the product we purchase the purple at no risk, via the trial period and free return shipping. The Purple Mattress purchase has exceeded our expectations. The Purple solved my wife's stiff back problems. This mattress is as advertised in every respect. We would highly recommend the purple mattress at double the asking price; it's really that great for sleeping!

We wanted to get the Purple because we were told when we went to try it out that it would never get those dips in the bed where you feel like you are sleeping in a sink hole because of the material it was made of. So upon hearing that we ordered and anxiously awaited our new bed to come. After just a week we noticed that the middle of the bed was higher and was forming dips. We contacted them and they were going to send us out a new one under a warranty request but we decided against that because we weren't willing to take the risk since we wouldn't have 100 days to try it out and we never felt like we had a chance to really feel like what it was supposed to feel like since ours was "defective."

Coming from a Tempur Pedic, this mattress is so much more comfortable and supportive in the right places. As a stomach sleeper, I woke up with hip and lower back pain on the Tempur Pedic. First night with the purple there was a major positive difference. We've had it for a month, and I actually wake up pain free. The support system really works, in my opinion.

Might be one of the worst mattresses I've ever slept on. I'm a side sleeper with shoulder pain so when I saw the commercials with the egg drop test I thought this was mattress I've been looking for. Nope. Way too firm, and way too stingy on the patented purple gel layer, especially for the hefty price tag on their most basic model. It's a shame too because I've been saving up for this mattress for years. Hopefully the return process is better than my sleep has been these last few weeks.
