I purchased my mattress four years ago, and loved it. Around last year the mattress started to become indented, and my wife and I began feeling each other move excessively in the bed, whereas before, we very rarely felt each other move. In addition, we were not sleeping as well as before. I reached out to customer service and explained our issues. Customer service said that the indentation should not have happened. I was asked to take pictures and send it to their warranty folks. After reviewing my pictures they determined that the bed was faulty and sent us a new bed and picked up the old one. The new bed is amazing, and my wife and I are back to getting a good nights sleep. Thank you Purple and your amazing customer service reps (Arianna and Tami-li), those two went above and beyond.

My fiance purchased a King sized mattress for my Christmas present (upgrade from our Queen). I purchased a memory foam mattress about 4 years ago and loved it...I just wanted more room! I was optimistic about the Purple mattress since I was familiar with the brand and heard good things about it. After it arrived and I unpacked it, I was still optimistic because just pushing my hands into the mattress and basically everything but laying on feels great with the mattress. I gave it the full 3 months and I just can't deal anymore...and here is why. The mattress feels like I'm laying on a flat, hard floor. I don't feel any major contouring when I'm laying down in any position, especially not the intense contouring felt when just pushing your hand into the mattress. I have also woken up in sweat multiple times...which never happened with my cooling memory foam mattress. -- I travel a lot for various things and spent a night out of town a week or so after receiving the mattress...then another week away about a month after that; I slept amazingly every night I was away. If you're into really hard beds, I'd suggest this bed for you. I have no complaints about the quality or company...just not my thing. I prefer to feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud! If you're interested in having a bed asap, this may not be for you. The mattress takes about 3 weeks to arrive at your door. --To add to this comment, this company's customer service is amazing. The first mattress sent out to us was damaged and their communication throughout the process of getting a replacement mattress was fantastic. They also offered free sheets and pillows for the hassle of waiting 3 more weeks for our mattress. I have already started the return process for my mattress and the excellent customer service doesn't change when you request a return.

I was excited to try purple out. It worked well for me after a week. Unfortunately my wife had constant hip and back pain even after 8 weeks. I felt bad keeping it that long but she was a trooper. We are working on getting a refund. Hopefully that goes as smoothly as indicated by others.

I was using a terrible mattress before purple. My mattress sank in the middle where my hips would rest and i always woke up sweating and with shoulder pain. Now, I have no more shoulder or hip pain after sleeping, I never sweat while sleeping and I sleep better. The only down side is that the "grid"-like texture of the silicone takes some getting used to. Its a strange texture to lay on at first but very comfortable. After you adjust, there's no going back. I hope that this mattress will be durable bc I plan to sleep on it for the next 10 years :) maybe I'll leave another review after 9 years.

This mattress was much better than the HelixSleep mattress that I had gotten previously. Since the mattress is only 11.5 inches deep my oversize sheets fit it very well so I did not have to buy the wildly expensive sheets that are recommended by Purple. On the whole, I do recommend this mattress.

A good mattress can really make all the difference. Before the Purple mattress, I had a soft memory foam mattress and I didn't know it was a big cause of my lower back pain until I switched to Purple.It's been a month and it has made a great difference in the way I sleep, the amount of time I can stay asleep through the night, and how my lower back feels through the night and the next morning. I can honestly say that I look forward to sleeping on this mattress every night. Hopefully, it will last for the next few years and doesn't start to sag over time like my old mattress.

My Purple mattress marked a before and an after in my sleeping ways. It is the most comfortable thing I have ever laid my body on, and I never want to sleep anywhere other than my own room now that I have this baby. Thank you guys at Purple, you rock!!!

I was a bit skeptical & wasn't sure what to expect from a mattress that shows up in a box on your doorstep - Well, I was pleasantly surprised! This is definitely the most comfortable mattress I have ever laid upon! (And the easiest mattress I've ever carried up a set of stairs!) So easy to setup and my daughter has slept SO well since sleeping on her Purple mattress! I plan to get a Purple mattress for me too! Highly Recommend!!!!

After sleeping on a Tempurpedic for about 10 years, it turned into a rock over time. So, I set out seeing what else I could find to replace it. I have a friend with a Purple mattress and she said it was the best sleep ever, so I figured I knew someone who could vouch for this product and I bought the king size. It's been a little over a month and I will say it is a slight improvement over my Tempurpedic- but my back still kills me in the morning when I get out of bed. The biggest improvement is that this bed sleeps a lot cooler and that is really noticable in super-humid Florida. There is a slightly noticable differnce in pressure points when sleeping on my side, but not to any life-altering degree. The majority of this bed is actually foam, and maybe if the hyper-elastic polymer was double the thickness the bed would be something remarkable. Out of curiosity, I did get a raw egg and step on it (with the mattress protector on), lay on it, sit on it- didn't break! But alas, my back is still killing me and I still toss and turn a lot. Oh well. I'm keeping it for the coolness factor since at least I'm not sweating to the oldies all night long.

The Original Purple mattress seemed nicely made, but we were used to a bed with a 3 inch memory foam topper. We opted for the Original over the New Purple because of cost. After sleeping on the Original for about 30 days both my husband and I were not sleeping well at all. We're both side sleepers and our limbs were going numb throughout the night. We found ourselves constantly tossing and turning to get or try to stay comfortable so we just weren't sleeping well. We may have liked the New Purple more, but for our size bed the cost difference was over $1400 to add a 3" memory foam topper. To us, that just wasn't worth it.
