I like the mattress and was REALLY looking forward to getting it however a drawback for me is that when sleeping flat on my back, I wake up with light pain and for a few hours into the day my lower back will hurt. I've tried it for a few weeks, problem seems to be consistent. Some nights I can feel light to medium pressure in my lower back so I will either need to bend my knees or turn on my side to get comfortable enough to sleep. My experience with soft beds is 50/50. Some really amazing, and some really bad...for me this falls right in the middle. I will keep using the purple bed for now, hopefully my lower back will adjust. btw I really enjoy the purple eye mask, it block out more light than others do AND the seat cushion is really appreciated as well. I'd also like to buy one that's twice as thick as the free one that comes with the mattress.

Easy setup and relatively smooth shipping. Wish it had gotten in the mail a few days earlier but once it was in FedEx system the delivery was smooth. Once received the setup was simple and the online video is helpful. It's definitely a unique feel the first time you lay on the mattress due to the polymer layer. But after a few nights, it is absolutely the best mattress I've ever owned. If you think it feels strange at first just give it a chance and you'll get used to the new feel. I received a free purple pillow with the purchase and while I think its fantastic, I'm not sure I'd spend over $100 on it. I also purchased the purple sheets, which I think are excellent and well worth the money if getting the mattress.

I used to wake up several times throughout the night because I was thirsty or nature called. Now, I lay my head down at night and what feels like 5 minutes later to me I wake up and it's morning! I wake up feeling refreshed, invigorated, and ready to tackle the day!

My fiance and I got the original Purple Mattress and we've never slept better. Love that it keeps you cool throughout the night and its the perfect balance between soft and hard. Forms completely to your sleeping style! Our next purchase will be the the Purple pillows!

I suffer from severe lower back pain. 3 slipped disks in my lower vertebrae. I can not start my day without an hour's worth of stretches and back exercises. Before I used to have to crawl out of my horrible bed in a certain way. Very stiff and in pain. EVERY MORNING. I have never slept on a more comfortable bed when I got my Purple. Since the purple, my back pain has been cut in half and on some days completely gone. I spring out of bed every morning without a problem. My GF and I absolutely love it. The only downside is, we spend more time in bed now than anywhere else. I would recommend this bed to everyone I love.

Having our bed now for 7 months, I can honestly say it's as good today as the day I purchased it. I am a side sleeper and sleep closer to the edge (toddler holds us in H-formation) and the bed is perfect. It sleeps cool, and completely supports your body while rellieving pressure points. This bed replaced a Tempurpedic supreme bed. Far and away the Purple bed is a much better product and a fraction of the price.

I am obsessed with my purple bed. I bought the original full bed and I have never slept better in my life. My kids always seem to wind up in my bed now, so I will be buying two more mattresses in the next few months. I feel like I am sleeping on a cloud with this bed. I decided to try the bed since my old mattress felt like sleeping on nothing but springs, and this new mattress has definitely changed my life. I also love the company and they have great advertising. Their ads are what made me give it a try. Keep making amazing products!

After the first night, I was thinking my back pain was better, the 2nd night, I believed my back pain was better. The 3rd night, back pain was quite a bit better. After the 4th night, I had NO BACK PAIN!!! I have more energy! Can sleep without waking up all night! I feel great!!!

I have had back issues my entire adult life thanks to a car accident and I've always been one to try any hot new gadget or gimmick to try to fix myself. I've finally found the solution, Purple. I have never slept in a bed that is so comfortable for sleeping in every position. I'm generally a side sleeper, but sometimes I roll to my back just to feel the comfort of this mattress in a different way. It keeps my back fully aligned and it seems I have kissed my daily morning back pain goodbye. Thank you Purple!! P.S. I no longer have to worry about waking up sweaty thanks to this amazing mattress, it keeps me cool all night long.

This bed has been the bane of my existence since the first night we got it. My boyfriend sleeps like an angel while I toss and TRY to turn (the softness makes turning over hard to do). I wake up with neck, shoulder, and back pain every morning, and it was worse when using the purple harmony pillow. I'm just suffering through it until we can send it back! I'm a stomach and side sleeper and I've never had a mattress cause me so many problems. I can hardly wait to sleep on our 20 year old Serta, thank the sleep gods we didn't toss it!
