This is a fine mattress. We have had it for about a month but are planning to return. I am sure some of this is based on preference and for many people this would be a good fit, but it has not been the best fit for us. We are thankful for the trial and I wouldn't recommend against this mattress, but I also won't be a strong proponent.

Ok, I've had this mattress now for almost 5 years. I bought mine well before they had any type of options other than size. I don't think that would matter. I hate this mattress. Its soooo firm. I can't get a good nights rest without either back/hip pain as well as my arm constantly falling asleep from pressure on my shoulder. My boyfriend who probably prefers to sleep on a rock even dislikes this mattress. I finally went out an bought a nice mattress topper after a few years of suffering and now my bed is finally so much better. I knew almost immediately this bed probably wasn't for me, but I was just hoping and praying my body would adjust by the 100 days and eventually I'd fall in love...I was dead wrong. I mean the technology is cool, but this mattress %100 isn't for me or my boyfriend. I can't even get into how the mattress is about 3 or 4 inches shorter than a standard mattress, so I have a huge gap from my mattress to my baseboard. I saw this in other reviews when I purchased, and maybe in the last 4 years the issue has been fixed (I hope) because it seems to have been a major issue with Purple.

My girlfriend and I ordered this mattress because I was having back pain and trouble sleeping on our old one. She agreed on this mattress with me and it was great the first night. The following nights have been awful. We both have barely slept due to constant tossing and turning and both of us now have back pain and mine got even worse. Next week will make it 21 days that we've had this mattress. As of right now we want to return it but we will see by the 21st day.

The bed and frame are decent. I bought it because I didn't want to deal with going to buy a mattress, having to talk to salesmen, getting a pick up truck, and carrying it up the stairs. Basically, I got this out of pure laziness on my end and the convenience that the Purple offers, in respect to that. It just happened to work out that this mattress is more comfortable than my previous one.

To start off, i has a pillow top mattress prior to our Purple and I loved it! But unfortunately, like us all, it aged. That being said I've never had a mattress that I've woken up feeling so rested, even when I didn't think I slept long. The best thing I can say about it, is that the sleep you do get you have a much deeper sleep. I have a 2 year old so I'm not guaranteed a full nights sleep without interruptions. But I am able to fall back asleep almost instantly, I wasn't able to do this on our last mattress. I am happy with our purchase of a Purple.

I purchased the base Purple mattress as an early Christmas gift for my wife and I. So far it is the most comfortable bed we have ever had. I'm a cold sleeper and the mattress holds heat wonderfully and keeps me comfortable. My wife is a hot sleeper and she said that this is the first time she has never had to take blankets off it helps regulate the temperature better than any bed we have ever had.

The bed is very comfortable and the morning backpain is gone. Offers just the right amount of support to keep me straight. It gives to body shape but does not cave in like a bowl. I've tried regular mattresses, pillow tops, foam toppers, and roam inner-spring hybrids and this is the best so far.

I'm a side sleeper and while I like it better than the 15 year old coil mattress it replaced, it''s not was we were hoping for. My wife is a stomach sleeper and doesn't like it at all. Claims that it's simply too soft. Unfortunatey we'll be finding out how easy the return process is

My overall experience with Purple has been great, even though I AM returning my mattress. Buying it was easy, deliverey and setup was quick and easy. I can tell the construction of the mattress is high quality....however, being a side sleeper, my fiancee and I needed more sinkage. With my old spring mattress, I was having trouble with my arms falling asleep before I did, and with Purple, I had the same issue. When I would just sit straight up on the mattress , or press directly onto it, the squish felt awesome! But when laid flat, with even weight distribution, I didn't sink at all. It feels very very firm. So although this mattress is excellent for some people, probably mostly back sleepers, it wasn't the right fit for me. Good luck everybody!!

The first week i had a little hip pain because I'm a side sleeper which bummed me out because i loooooved the feel of it i gave it a few weeks before i made any decisions on the returning it but so far i love the mattress. It's been amazing since. I recommend it to everyone. And here soon i will be purchasing a seat cushion because i am a tattooer so i sit down for hours on end.
