I am pretty passionate about things/products I find game changing... I have been battling what has been hands down the most challenging and difficult physical injury of my life when 3 years ago I tore my L3 disc and bulged my s1 and L4 while building my house. It was debilitating at first and after years of chiropractics, yoga, physical therapy and endless hours of a variety of self research, exercise and stretches it has mostly been on the up and up. Sleep has continued to be the biggest challenge however and waking up with pretty severe pain after 3-4 hours of sleep has been pretty normal and expected. Exploring the right combination of sleeping positions, pillows, motorized adjustable bed frames and new mattress have been just a necessary cost of the attempt to find anything that helps. After 4 different mattresses along with other items I gave in to all the marketing and decided to try the "purple" mattress. Within 2 nights, I am back to 7-8 hours of sleep and little to no pain from sleeping. It has seriously been a life saver of a solution for my injury. I finally look forward to sleep again. Although not the most amazing mattress to the first touch, when it comes to a good night sleep it has been a game changer. I recommend anyone dealing with back or other injuries where sleep positions are complicated... give their trial a shot, might be worth it. #mightbelievethehype #purple

I slept on a Temupedic for over 10 years and it was a hard choice to try something new. I am so happy that I decided on Purple. The temperature regulation can't be beat and I love the support. I've found my perfect mattress. I highly recommend the mattress protector. It's actually breathable!! I've tried others that say they are breathable and I wake up in a puddle of sweat. I spilled coffee on my bed and not even a little bit soaked through. The sheets are also divine. Can't beat Purple!!

This mattress is unlike any other! It provides great support yet is still soft and forms to your body like memory foam. Except not memory foam! It is very easy to move around on the bed without feeling stuck. This mattress also isolates movement so the whole bed doesn't bounce around when me or my husband gets in it. Overall, great mattress and very very comfortable! I look forward to going to bed every night unlike with my previous memory foam/spring mattress. And the purple sheets are SO SOFT!

First let me say to take this review in the spirit it is intended... a perspective given a unique situation. I purchased my purple bed primarily because I needed one that lifted at both ends because I came out of hospital and the purple option seemed the best bang for the buck. Now that I am doing better and I sleep primarily flat, I am finding that I still have some pressure points that I would not have expected. They are minimal and I am not sure if they are to do with my injuries. The jury is still out. It is far and a way better than my old bed which was a coil/spring mattress. I may try a pure memory foam mattress to see if it is better than the purple but if you are looking for comfort over and above a coil/spring mattress and the memory foam beds are out of the price range... the purple is a great option. Take them up on the 90 day trial and dont hesitate if you get three months out and decide you dont like it. Sleep is an important part of our lives but it is never given the thought and investment it should get given how much of our time is spent in it. Sleep is too important not to consider a bed an investment. Take your time and find the right mattress for you. Purple is a great option and probably one of the better ones but it is not the only one. The folks at purple... sorry that I am not 100% extoling the virtues of purple... I am just trying to be fair and honest.

Not until I got this mattress did I realize that this is the activity that we spend the majority of our lives doing. Why not invest in the best mattress ever designed? Only sorry I did not have one of these like 30 years ago!!!! I also purchased a "Purple" seat cushion for my dad that is amazing for anyone who must spend a lot of time sitting during the day. This team is onto something. It is a step above in how we are supported when we are relaxing. Thank you Purple!!!!

I have been using the Purple Mattress for over a year now and love it! Unlike other foam mattresses I have tried, the Purple actually breathes, so it keeps me cool. My wife is a light sleeper and doesn't even notice me getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and the same goes for me. The motion transfer is very minimal without the sunken in feeling you get trying to get up with foam mattresses, as the purple material is very responsive. Would recommend and purchase again

We have had our Purple mattress for two months now. The old mattress, we'll call her Beddy, was a pillow top who had lost her umph, a king sized beauty with gravitational pull to the black hole known as the middle. The Purple Mattress came and Beddy was out the door... it felt a bit like cheating at first, A little uncomfortable but really exciting (I'm told). Purple has reinvigorated the night time hours for us... given the **** for sleep back to a once lustless home. Thank you Purple. Thank you. BUT REALLY: don't give up during the second or third week when you're having trouble adjusting.... your body will rebel the spinal alignment at first.... stay the course. You'll thank me later.

The first time I layed down in the bed I immediately wanted to go to sleep. I'm used to sitting in bed for 30 minutes waiting to fall asleep but on the Purple Mattress, I caught myself falling asleep in less than 5 minutes. I was shocked to see how easy it was to fall asleep. This bed is perfect. My girlfriend and I have completely different bed softness preferences but we both love the Purple Mattress. I'm so glad I bought it.

I had many reservations about getting a Purple Mattress but my wife was suffering from tremendous back pain after a restless nights rest. I reluctantly ordered one in hopes of sending it back after it failed to elevate the problems...boy was I wrong. After the first nights rest, I was in a rush to get rid of the packaging materials as I had fallen in love with our new Purple Matress...she sleeps like an angel as well and back issues are now a thing of the past. Our Purple mattress is absolutely the most comfortable king size mattress we have ever slept on. My wife and I are in our 70's and we have slept on a lot of mattresses throughout the years. The technology and materials designed into this mattress is something you have to experience. For example, if one pushes on the mattress with your hand the mattress fells like it will be too soft to sleep on. But when you lie on the mattress it feels supportive and very comfortable. With our old mattress I could not sleep on my side because I would feel soreness in my back and hips. Now I can sleep on my side or back ~ whichever I choose. I know there is not a mattress on the market that can beat Purple at any price! And, the people I interacted with at Purple were more than helpful. By the way, Goldie Locks in the Purple promotional video sold me on trying Purple. I have to watch the video every so often to brighten my day! As she said, we have been sleeping on junk!
