I had high hopes for my Purple mattress. Unfortunately, I have been very disappointed. The mattress is not comfortable and it feels like I am sleeping on top of the grid it rather than a sink in feel. It's comparable to sleeping on a comforter on the floor.

My girlfriend and I had a lot of simultaneous expenses happening at the same time we had to buy a new bed. We knew we wanted a Purple king but we thought we'd go cheaper at first and then get the Purple a month or two down the road so we tried a competitor (starts with an N and rhymes with sector.) After sleeping on it a week, we went ahead and ordered the Purple. There's just no comparison. Not only is it great for back pain, but it sleeps cool. I normally don't leave reviews for things but I tell everyone I know who even mentions the word bed that they should get a Purple. I'd be their mascot.

I LOVE this mattress. I have been needing a new mattress for a long time and had been researching so many of them. Sleeping cool is a must for me so this disqualified many of the mattresses I looked into. It also had to be affordable; this disqualified others. I came across Purple on YouTube and thought the videos were hilarious. Thought I would give their 100 day period a try . . . and I was able to finance! Yes!!! Score!!! By the third day I knew I had to dispose of my old mattress because Purple is a keeper. Thank you, guys, for all your research and thought that went into developing my mattress.

The review title pretty much sums it up. It had been way too long since we replaced our mattress. My wife and I were both routinely waking up with a sore back and neck from sleeping on a mattress we've been given years ago and that sagged in the middle. So, we decided it was time to upgrade. We couldn't be happier! Well, actually we would be just a little happier if our two cats, who also recently decided to sleep on our purple mattress at night, would use their own cat beds instead and not take up so much space.

The first mattress we were sent came very quickly. However, it had a defect on one side of it. We contacted customer service within a week. They didn't respond to us until 19 days after that. When they recognized that there was in fact a defect, it took three weeks longer for the mattress to be delivered. Now that we have a good mattress, it is a very comfortable mattress. The cover makes it sleep very warm. We have had no problems without the cover. It does sleep quite a bit cooler without the cover.

First off let me start this review by saying my wife and I love our bed. We ordered the New Purple 3. Now before I get into details about the bed I want to address one major problem. My issue is not with the mattress or even the company Purple. My issue and frustration was and is with Manna the shipping company contracted by Purple. I ordered our bed on March 21st. I waited a few about 2 weeks before calling because I had not got a confirmation of shipment. I was told by a representative at Purple that they were back ordered and it could be up to two more weeks before my order was made and shipped. Understandable. So I waited two more weeks and called again. This was where the trouble started. Purple confirmed that they had in fact shipped my bed and that it was being transported by a company named Manna. I was given a tracking number and asked to call back if there were any more problems. I waited a few more days and started tracking the shipment. They had it for a month and I called them 6 times trying to locate it and no one could give a direct answer. The nightmare that company caused was unacceptable and should not be tolerated. Long story short Manna took a month to ship it and I had to go pick it up myself in Philadelphia because they said they couldn't deliver it for another two weeks after they "found it". Let me tell you what I trust more than Manna. Bill Cosby to take my wife out to dinner. Casey Anthony to babysit my children. Roseanne to tweet for me. Hillary Clinton to manage my computer server. Bernie Madoff with my retirement fund. FEMA to take care of me after a hurricane. Now that you understand the type of incompetence that you will get from Manna let me tell you about our Purple bed. It is absolutely amazing. I served in Iraq. My body is not it top condition. I have never slept on a bed that I don't remember sleeping on. That's how good I sleep. When you lay down it's super comfortable. When I move it's easy and doesn't disturb my wife. My wife also loves the bed. Her lower back problems have subsided and she too sleeps completely though the night. I without a doubt we will be purchasing this bed again

We definitely can tell a difference. My husband sweats all night and I usually change the sheets every day. Now I can go a few days before changing sheets. This mattress does not get hot. I suffer from chronic back pain due to my job as a nurse constantly lifting and moving patients. It took three days for me to get use to the mattress. I now wake up with less pain. I love the mattress, if I could undo time I would get the purple 4? But I have no complaints and I'm very glad about my purchase.

A friend told me that she had tried 21 different mattresses with in home delivery and she thought that Purple Mattress was by far the very best over all the others. When my adult son and hubby started bad back/hip issues, I ordered 2 of the least expensive mattresses. I will tell you, they're very different and they are totally amazing! They're not like a typical mattress in their feel. This isn't a bad thing. They're just awesome to sleep on, there's no other way to explain this. Son also got the deluxe seat cushion, equally as great. Best mattress purchase EVER.

After a few weeks with our Purple Mattress my wife and I have been very satisfied. We have both been sleeping very well. I no longer feel like I have spent several hours getting beat up when I wake up and No longer have a stiff sore shoulder when I start my day. I have and will continue to recommend Purple even after such a short period of time.

I am completely happy with my Purple mattress. It is a different feel, for sure, but for me it provides excellent support as well as comfort. My hips and shoulders do not hurt during the night, and I wake up much less sore than I did on my old mattress.
