We bought the Purple mattress back in April and have not looked back since! Before Purple, we were sleeping on a foam mattress that did little for us. Yes, it was squishy, but it added no back support. After receiving and sleeping on the Purple mattress for about 1 week, we were worried why they bed did not feel as comfy as the ads made it out to be. We then did some research and found out that it takes some time for your back to heal and undo the horrible effects of the foam mattress. We finally got used to the mattress after 3 weeks. Now, after 8 months of use, I can truly say how amazing my sleep and comfort is on the Purple mattress!! Love it and will continue to tell all my friends and family about the best mattress ever!

It's honestly a really nice mattress. Super comfy. Perfect inbetween of firm and soft. BUT I wish they used a better shipping company that wasn't fedex because my mattress was on the truck for a week after the specified arrival date until I got it settled with fedex

My husband and I are in our early 30's and we both realized one day that our bed sucked. I would wake up with back pain and pain in my hips. Same for my husband. I did a lot of research before we came across the Purple mattress. I must admit that for the first few nights on the Purple mattress I didn't think I was going to like it. There was an adjustment going from a **** mattress to something so wonderfully sturdy and comfy as the Purple! I no longer wake up sore or hurting anywhere and neither does my husband. I sleep solid through the whole night unless my husband snores :) I've been telling all my friends and family about my magic Purple mattress. I have even invited people over to let them try it out. Love this mattress, and so do my two sons. We have purchased 3 mattresses in total. We all can't believe the difference over a normal mattress. I have always been a side sleeper and fall asleep on my side, but I wake up in the morning on my back and I have never been able to sleep on my back. No more aches and pain when I wake up.

I really needed this mattress to work for me and my husband. We wake up sore every morning. We got the original purple. They aren't lying when they say it's firm. It's very firm. Maybe it's because I'm a light person, 120lbs, but there is really not much give to the mattress at all, feels like I'm laying on the ground. I really wanted to like get good sleep for once. It came when it said it would. Customer service was friendly and helpful. I only gave a 3 star because in pain every morning.

Hey Purple team, I've had the mattress for just under a month. I enjoy the way it feels and it's definitely sleeps cooler than my old mattress. The problem is that I continue to wake up with minor back pain every morning. I didn't have this pain prior to the mattress and when I've slept on other beds since then, I haven't had the pain in the mornings. I know there's an adjustment period but I'm worried that I'm past that. I love your company, your brand, and the way your mattress feels, but if it continues to give me back pain, I'll have to return it :( Any help is appreciated because I'd love to keep it if I can get rid of the back pain

This is two reviews in one!! Bought the Purple kickstarter deal, Queen mattress w/ 2 pillows. Being hard in beds, destroying them within the first year, he has found his match!! He now can sleep ! So we just bought him the platform and a Queen mattress for me! Ahhh...do I really have to get out of bed? Soooo comfy! Yes! Highly recommend a Purple mattress!

I like that it was cooler than memory foam. I didn't like how thin it was. When I get into bed my knee would go all the way down to the wooden platform of my bed - through the mattress. Maybe if I had 2 of them or a thicker version I would have kept it. I could see where someone who maybe weighs 110 pounds wouldn't have this problem but I'm 200. Also a bit sore - mattress is a little too cushy.

I kept saying I was going to give a 1 star review to the Purple mattress claiming it has "ruined traveling for me," which it kind of has. I am writing this review the morning after my 5th night on vacation. The twinges and pains in my lower back have reminded me of a time before my wife and I purchased the Purple mattress for our home. This prompted me to finally write a review, but I just couldn't bring myself to give that 1 star review. I love the mattress! No more back pain for me, and I am a dentist which is a field known for having back pain. Mine started slightly while I was still in school, but now 15 years later (as long as I'm sleeping in my own bed at home), none. The ladies I work with roll their eyes when one of my patients mentions sleep, because they know I'm going to start telling them all about the Purple mattress and the Purple pillow to help with TMJ pain. This is getting long (I could keep going for lots longer), but I'll close with this, I am currently looking at one of the most picturesque views of the ocean you can imagine, and I'm longing to be home so that I can once again sleep on my Purple mattress. Idea: Someone starts a chain of Purple hotels! Or at least offers "Purple rooms". I'd pay more per night to stay and sleep there.

I am nearly 80 years old (male) and am now sleeping on a Purple mattress. I no longer get up in the morning with a stiff back. I have tried a number of mattresses including Casper and have not been able to remedy my stiff back issues. But then I found Purple, and I think this mattress is magic. It has remedied years of back issues.
